Inexpensive Lasted for two days I purchased this as an upgrade for 1 of the corporate laptops. 1 of the modules died inside a couple of days. Superb memory for the specs and cost, very advised for all users. Model no longer comes with the heat spreaders like description claims. Only a tiny con since I don't have any problems with anything overheating in the initial place. The spreaders don't offset the value of this ram at all. Operates fantastic with or with no them. |

very good ram, cheap for what you get, DDR2 667 is all you need for casual use Have an asus motherboard and when i installed one of these sticks to my Vista 32 residence edition, i began possessing BSOD with memory management error. Did a ram test and almost everything was fine. Not sure if it was the ram on my board, or any other device. Uninstalled it in the finish and i see no issues for now. |

Works Had to manually set Cas Latency and speed in bios, also had to raise the voltage to 2.25 in order to get it stable. Would have been DOA if I have been upgrading a retail personal computer. The Cost thats it. RAM didnt operate for even though my desktop is compatible it would not boot up I put my old RAM bak in and it booted right up i tried many times but it still would not boot up. I have a Compaq SR5310f The existing installed memory is two 512mb sticks DDR PC2 5300.....I ran a scan test on crucials site and it stated its compatible with DDR2 PC5300 and PC2 6400. Maybe the sticks have been defective i dont know I got a refund possibly i will attempt a different brand next time. |

Got this to upgrade a close friends older pc. ram in it was slow and was only 512 mb so i did a little upgrade and with these and a handful of other components the Dell Demension E310 Runs like a beast with Windows 7. Its only for home hold use so its more than enough. None that i can see Great obtain for a cheap upgrade. |
