Ive ordered 2 of these so far for the office and they function good. Prints very good and quite quickly. Setup is simple and quickly and toners are effortless to uncover and not to pricey. All in all you cant go wrong for the cost, top quality and ease of use. Im not certain if its the printer or not but a single of my employees is possessing difficulty printing labels. It's the first scanner I've owned. Performance all around is additional than sufficient. The setup was quite easy, took some time and had to re-read issues a bit. Rapidly, effective laser printer. Automatic document feeder is excellent. Scanner operates fine. Copier is rapidly. Has a fax machine (in case you ever use that sort of factor these days). Can scan to file/email. No colour (but you already knew that!). Toner cartridges are modest on this unit, so they hold about half the powder of the larger series and competitors. However, even the small cartridge prints a handful of thousand pages for below fifty bucks. Scanner over WirelessG is slower than dirt. Wireless card inside printer is not quite powerful, so it's way a lot more sensitive to distance and things around it compared to a typical wireless card. Lights in the residence dim when this unit comes out of standby; I assume it pulls around 1,000 watts for a few seconds when it warms up. Crazy! The automatic document feeder on the initial one particular I received was undesirable; it would pull paper by way of at an angle. Used as network printer (wired ten럼 connection). Operate perfectly with window XPǝ(both 32bit and 64bits) and Linux (SUSE 11.1 Enterprise Desktop x64). We have about four desktop computers and a couple of laptops and this is substantially greater than getting a single pc to print off of.Purchased this item final month at 赻 with a ฮ off specific. You can't beat that price tag at all. None as of yet. I have not applied the scanner feature on this printer but, but I hear it can be a bit tricky. I've had ZERO, repeat, ZERO concerns with two brother printers I have. My most recent addition is the MFC-7840W and I appreciate it and I'm confident I will for several years to come. I've had an additional brother printer for going on 6 years now and it has performed flawlessly the complete time and is nonetheless going powerful. I purchased the MFC-7840W just to add to the workplace so the people on one particular end don't have to hike across the office to the key copier/fax all in 1 machine. We're about 20,000 pages into this printer and we really like it. Wifi is a nice bonus, while I consider I've employed it twice just to see if it functions. None so far. None foreseeable.
