While I ordered 2 pcs of 1 gb, the laptops max, it will only run one, with the 256 meg in slot 2, both sticks work, vast improvement in performance, and i guess i have a spare. |

I have tried these RAM chips and didn't get them to work in 2 different identical computers. I have to put the prior ones back in. I used the program to match my chips to my Dell Latitude D410 and this is what the program spit out. Now I have opened Ram chips that apparently are mine. |

When installed in the target machine, this module simply didn't work and prevented booting. This is the exact module the PNY configurator recommended. At this time I am in the process of resolving the issue with PNY. I have no doubt that it will be resolved. PNY is a reliable compnay. It is however, a bit of a pain since the machine belongs to a relative who lives 150 miles away. |

Even though the Memory Configurator says this was the correct memory for our laptop, after talking with people at PNY it was determined it's not the correct one. I rated it down the middle due to incompatibility, we have other PNY products that all work perfectly. |

I expected PNY product to work perfectly. It did! What i do not like is the hoops you have to jump through to get a simple rebate. I gave up after spending more time than the rebate was worth.... and isn't that exactly what they hope you will do!!! Buying from Tiget online is ok but in a Brick and Mortor store you can get the little things done in a flash and avoid the high shipping and handling charges. |

If the RAM selector would have been accurate this would have worked god. To bad I found out that a Toshiba laptop won't execpt PNY memory after I had bought this and installed it. Oh well, at least it was a good price. |

If you are upgrading your RAM and purchasing 2, you are better off getting the kit. With the kit, the 2 sticks will be exactly the same. I purchased 2 sticks separately, and although they were the same packaging, the actual memory chips were different. I had to return the 2 and purchase the kit. Return was fast and easy. |

i bought 2 1 gig ram cards. after installing them my laptop bootup and shutdown was quicker. the speed of which programs booted and the benefit of the ram to my pci graphics card gave me a better picture. the shipment was fast i actually got my ram i day sooner than i expected which was great. |
