Card+reader look to perform actually quick together, and that's the tiniest reader I've ever noticed. Good worth, actually. Card reader could be effortless to shed or break if you are not cautious. I mostly use it as a USB flash drive, but I liked the notion of a MicroSD card in case I need to have to use it with my phone or Sansa Clip+

Low-cost micro SD card & handy adapter. Good for carrying in your wallet "just in case" you will need a USB stick with no possessing yet yet another issue jingling on your keyring. Included USB adapter ID's itself as a complete-power device. It won't work plugged into most keyboards or other unpowered hubs. Can't conceive of how such a issue could actually want to draw any measurable amount of power. Nonetheless operates nicely, but usually signifies fishing around the back of a machine to uncover a USB plug alternatively of plugging it right into the keyboard. The adapter itself is handy when tech un-savy relatives throw their mobile phones at you and ask you to load some thing onto it for them. No want to come across the USB cable for the phone (which they've lost) or attempt to come across some other adapter.

I bought this for my HP Mini 1000 that has a recessed USB port reserved for a Transcend Jet Flash which utilizes the very same slim USB idea. On the other hand the Transcend Jet Flash maxes out at 8GB. Thus I primarily purchased this as a ฝ.75 adapter and the future expandability of Micro SDHC.That's not all; the adapter comes with a "free" 4GB Micro SDHC and free shipping! Combined with my present Kingston 8GB Micro SDHC card, I already have the similar capacity and capability supplied by HP at a third of the price. It wasn't cost-free. Flash drives of this class could match in your wallet. My operate precludes that.

Modest, fits on a keychain. A single of my initial concerns was the the card could fall out of the adapter from rubbing against my keys but it fits snuggly and I'm not concerned anymore. Modest, easy to drop. I place this on my keychain with a bunch of keys and tags, and it's still holding up right after 2 months. The black paint on the metal components of the adapter is a bit scratched but it reads and writes fine.

At least the micro SD chip will work in other SD adaptors. Does absolutly practically nothing when plugged into any of the four PCs in my home. Definatly a guarantied RMA item Wanted it smaller but didn't consider it would be so smaller that when I set it down on shelf nearly lost it.

I've had this for 3 months. I bought it simply because the card and reader are tiny and attaches to my keychain simply. The reader began to fail following about two months. It worked intermittently for a whilst and finally stopped functioning altogether. I've tried cleaning the contacts with alcohol, as well as using a quite fine abrasive. No luck. Memory card nevertheless works as I can read the card with other adapters, but not the a single it came with.

It's a 4GB MicroSD card The reader is not as excellent as it could be. I have comparable flash drives and readers that are unreliable and prone to breaking. Fortunately I have some SD to MicroSD adapter cards currently if this 1 offers me problems. Got this as a Christmas present for my daughter's cel phone so I've till not really tested t to make sure it works, but fully expect no troubles.

Tiny USB adapter Tiny USB adapterShipping appears sort of stupid... The USB adapter is barely larger than the card, make positive you use the strap to attach it to one thing or you may possibly accidentally inhale it... Which leads me to con number 2: They really should only charge about 50 cents to ship this, since it's smaller sized than a postage stamp. Doesn't make substantially sense to put the package in a a lot larger bubble envelope.

Plugged into LG Chocolate Touch, recognized it appropriate away. Pictures would not save proper away, would fail and reboot the phone, even though video would save fine. I Formatted it by way of the telephone and appears to be operating fine now. I just about lost it when I sneezed, man they aint kidding about Micro, lol.

It functions. Study/write speed is really slow. I got this for my Nintendo DS Slot 1 card. I noticed it was slow when writing files to it (via card reader), but the study speed in the DS was unacceptable. It took 40 secs to load something instead of 2 seconds when making use of my 2GB non-HC card. I researched the problem and it doesn't seem to be my DS device. I may possibly've just got a bad card. I'm not going to return it even though, considering that I just ordered an 8GB Class 6 from a different manufacturer and I require this card reader. The card itself is going in storage in case a friend requirements it for a phone or some thing.

The reader is seriously little. The card is reasonably quick. Reader didn't function out of the box. But the reader is genuinely easy to open up, and all I had to do was bend the pins a small bit and then anything worked amazing. I've had this for a bit over a month now. I carry the reader with the card in it in my pocket on my important chain. The outdoors has gotten a bit scuffed but it works like a champ. Apart from the smaller dilemma with the reader, I'm pretty happy with this solution.

Wonderful device. I really should tension the word tiny though. After you figure out how every thing gets attached and plugged in you'll be all set, just don't misplace it or you'll in no way uncover it once more. None, excellent device. Got exactly what I paid for in no time at all.

Great card at a good price tag on Newegg particular. Been operating in my blackberry for six months now, no problem. Speed is bottlenecked by the connection typically anyway. I only got 3? Also have an 8gig which is in all probability less expensive now
