Even though seems a bit expensive, once I installed a 1.5 TB Seagate hard drive, I saw where the money went, very effective aluminum construction, which keeps the hard drive really cool, it works flawlessly through all three ports, Firewire, very good transfer rate, eSata, impressive transfer rate, and USB. When I turn off any computer I have connected this enclosure to the hard drive stops working automatically as opposed to other enclosures I've owned where the hard drive keeps spinning after the computer has shut down.
