Its a patch cable, what can I say. It does the job. No complaints at all. I'm happy that I'm now able to quickly distinguish which cable is which because I have multiple colours! Yay! It's Purple to coordinate my cabling Rat's Nest. If your color then just buy it...it works.Also had the user friendly snagless pushers and not those press till your finger disintegrates into a bone powder ones. NICE.

I know it's just a cable, but I have a significant network (wired and wireless) in my home, and sometimes when I'm in a rush I can mix up the usual blue/grey/black network cables running around from the switch/router. I wanted to replace the cheaper CAT5 patch cable from *my* computer to the switch, and this fit the bill well. At 7' it's a nice length for the room, and being snagless and CAT6 it was just what I wanted. Having it in purple makes it clear cut with a glance which cable is mine too. The insulation sleeving could be a bit thicker (you can feel the braiding through it), but for just over $2 you really can't beat this for a Gigabit patch.
