Cons: Runs hot: 74 degrees while playing Dead Space in 1860X1050, MaxedHot air vented into the case (Not a big deal)

Pros: Powerful cardRelatively quiet; the other components are louderLooks amazingly cool
Comment:
I purchased this card at $225 CAD (26/06/09). So far, the performance has been amazing. It runs up to 75 degrees during my use so far, which isn't all that bad. All in all, a great performer for a great price. This review was modfied by poster @ 06-30-09 06:33 PM

Cons: HugeLoud fans when running at full speed

Pros: Good coolerOverclocks well
Comment:
Got this to replace my old 8800GT. The improvement is easily noticeable (my 8800GT could only handle medium settings in Crysis whereas this card can handle the enthusiast settings if AA is off). The cooler seems to work quite well and I've overclocked the card to a fully stable 720/1555/1245(2490). At those clock speeds and running the Furmark burn test, the GPU temp never goes past 82C and I've got a really small case (Antec Sonata III, the card barely fit in the thing). The fans are quiet until they rev up to full speed at which point they get quite noisy, but thus far, that only really happens when I stress test. Great card.

Cons: Does not exhaust heat fully out the case like reference models, however decent case airflow aliviates this np.

Pros: Great overclocking, excellent Quiet and Effective custom cooling solution.
Comment:
I'm extremely happy with this card. It's considerably quieter than my 260 was under load. Got to 735mhz stable, and that's an overclock I'm impressed with. I'm currently folding at 725mhz/2500 and with the fan at 37% it's quiet and ~75c. Gaming looks great and at 1920 x 1200 runs smooth. I suspect that MSI has binned the OC version GPU's to get these results (no guarantee you'll get more than the already good OC at 666) An excellent HSF solution without paying a premium. Well done MSI.
