Cons:
- It runs hot for a Nvidia board (90 to 93 celcius at full load) even with a ton of fan in the case.- Fairly high price (as this kind of product always have)
Pros: - It is very powerful and runs every games I have at maximum.- It is compliant with DirectX11 and OpenGL3.2, hardware tessellation is remarquable. - It runs PhysX and CUDA code. |

Fan noise/temp
Pros: Super fast card, keeps the FPS up at high resolutions. Comment:
Fantastically powerful card. First time buying an MSI card, so far so good!I haven't tried over-clocking as I can't see the benefits for it with a card like this. So YMMV.Fan is loud when 65%+ but that is to be expected, that said it cools down very quickly and if you are just in windows piddling around it's very quiet and idles cool(45C ish in my system). I've used EVGA Precision to regulate my fan control 80% in 3d games and 30% in windows.Great buy when I bought it, GTX480 lives up to it's name. |

Pros: It has military class components that keep it cooler comp[ared to other graphics cards out there. Its fast and overlocks like crazy. Comment:
Great card. MSI have a winner here. The card is very cool. I don't understand all those heat issues people report. I have the card overclocked to 860/4320 at 1088mV and the temperature in furmark bearly goes to 85 degrees. In games, never more than 75 - it is better than the GTX 260 it replaced. really please with it. All games run fast at 1920x1080. Totally recommended ! |
Very happy with the product so far. As a core technology developper, I needed power without compromise and Nvidia has the advantage on this logic. This is a really high end card and make sure you need that much daily to make it worth it.MSI package has nothing distinctly special from the competition.
