Cons: -Keyboard keys are really flat so for people that are use to keys that have slightly curved shapes may need some minor getting use to-Must rely on driver CD when reformatting because you basically need those drivers to get network cards working (ie internet)-As previous reviewer mentioned, there is bloated software pre-installed, you might not need all of them
Pros: -Cost effective (Really good deal compared to computers in the same price range)-Relatively good sound quality and web camera has sliding switch to block lens Comment:
I bought this laptop from the Vancouver NCIX a few days ago and so far I'm very satisfied with it. The Cons were actually light weight compared to the deal I got out of it and I can still upgrade the RAM to 16GB for relatively cheap with all the deals NCIX has been offering. Just make sure you don't lose the driver CD. The games I play run fine, but then again I have never been an intensive on graphics. |

Cons: -Comes with a little bloatware. (Not hard to remove, though)-Glossy screen bezel is the ultimate dust magnet-Keyboard's keycap quality is worrisome-The screen's viewing angles could be better
Pros: -Fast enough for my games-Overall very responsive-Quiet-Screen is pretty vibrant-Comes with USB 3.0-Comes with accident warranty-Good battery life (A little over 5 hours under normal use)-Speakers sound nice for a laptop-Webcam & mic are good quality-Not a lot of flexing anywhere-Keyboard is a joy to type on Comment:
I bought this laptop a couple months ago in-store at the Coquitlam NCIX outlet for university use.I find it very usable for day-to-day tasks, and it handles my games with no trouble. The switchable graphics works seamlessly, and the processor is actually quicker than my desktop's for certain tasks.My only complaints with the laptop lies with the aesthetics (or rather, the maintenance and durability of the aesthetics)My 's' and left shift key are showing signs of wear already; the dark grey paint is wearing off to reveal black plastic.The screen bezel attracts dust like nothing I've ever seen before. It is horrendous in this aspect. I've given up on wiping it off, as it gets dusty within a couple hours.If these things don't bother you, then I highly recommend this laptop. Its quality is otherwise top-notch, and the laptop doesn't exhibit signs of flexing in the back or wrist-rest area. It is very quiet under all conditions also. (Even when gaming) |

Cons: TONS of bloatware, removing it can be difficult.Plan on downloading Windows 7 Home Premium and doing a full reformat.
Pros: Fast 2nd Gen Core i74GB RAM, with 2 open slots (max 16GB 4x4)Decent GPU for the pricepointUSB 3.0 great for external HDDs, etc. Comment:
It's a good value system with good performance. Very cost-effective, the weakest point from a gaming perspective is obviously the GPU, but you wont find any better systems without spending ~$300 more... Also, if you watch the NCIX weekly specials you can find some really good deals on additional RAM. I doubled mine to 8GB for $25 more after taxes! |

Cons: NO eSATA. I am kinda annoyed that NCIX lists eSATA for this model, however it is not enough for me to return it because it does have USB 3.0 still. But could be considered false advertising. update it NCIX!
Pros: Well made. Looks sharp. Great performance. On of the best mid range 15.6 inch laptops around. And although this is not the 1080p screen, wow does it look good! Comment:

Just got this a few days ago, pretty impressed so far. Runs Civ 5 decently. Haven't tried any newer FPS yet but look forward to trying out Battlefield : Bad Company 2 here soon. All in all I am quite satisfied with this laptop and would recommend. For those that want some gaming but don't want to spend $1600+ you can't beat it.
