I use it at home between my laptop and my 42 inches screen and never had any problem. I'm running Ubuntu on my laptop and without any configuration the sound output throught the HDMI cable worked out of the box. Very good quality.

Pros:Sturdy cable, good length if decide to move my TV to another spot. The price is right. Comment: I bought this to replace a 6ft cable I purchased here many months ago and I'm glad I did. I think it might even be cheaper (in price) that the cable I replaced.

Maybe if you need it for 3d etc, then im sure there are cables a little more optimized for the job, but im more then satisfied~

Thick cable seems of high quality. Beware of the thick connector though, you might not be able to connect it to the TV or monitor or device you want!

Touch it was a nice looking touch.Connectors came protected with plastic inserts. Comment: At the sale price of 4-5$ if I remember you can't score better. I did not test HDMI 1.4 as I was looking for the cheapeast HDMI cable while still being over 1.3.

It was definitely a good purchase. I don't have any HDMI 1.4 devices (yet) but if I ever get some I'm sure that these cables will work great. They seem to work fine for HDMI 1.3 as well. I'd buy them again if they went on sale. I wouldn't pay full price, but that's just because I'm cheap and only buy cables on sale. Also why I have a total of seven unused HDMI cables in a drawer. If you need an HDMI cable this one will do a great job.
