nMEDIAPC ZE-C118 All-in-one USB2.0 & eSATA Card Reader with Black Face Panel
Cons:Had to mod it to fit front of case and mounting screws didn't line up with my antec 300 case.
Pros:Price, support for most cards you might run across, usb port, esata port Comment:
I can't say I'm entirly happy with this card reader as I had to file the front panel to fit propery in the case and I also had to drill holes close to the ones predilled holes for securing it in the bay. It works fine now that I have it installed. Next time I think I would pay a little extra and get one that I now will fit my case! |

nMEDIAPC ZE-C118 All-in-one USB2.0 & eSATA Card Reader with Black Face Panel
Cons:
Doesn't work when it doesn't work -_-Cheap quality + material
Pros: Easy install, works when it works... Comment:
Read cards fine, but very bad build quality. Entire case feels slightly crooked, the face plate hinges kept getting caught on my case's front panel, PLUS the usb port disconnects randomly or whenever I touch the plug. Part of the usb header is missing some plastic. An ok product if you get a unit that works! |

nMEDIAPC ZE-C118 All-in-one USB2.0 & eSATA Card Reader with Black Face Panel
Cons:
Dumb spot for a eSata port but i don't use eSata so it's just a nitpick
Pros: CHEAPWorks with my 16gb Patriot Signature Series LXPerfect fit/color match with Antec P182USB 2.0 SlotLots of supported cards Comment:
Grabbed this to go with my new SDHC card to go with my Camera. So far i'm impressed. It fits perfectly in my Antec P182 Case using the 3.5 bay it has. Adds another front USB 2.0 slot, making my total 3. No drivers to install, just plugged it in and it worked as intended. So far it's a steal at $12. |
Since this is a rather generic flash card reader, there's not a great deal to say about it.The Good:- Got it fairly cheap in a recent weekly sale.- Does what it's supposed to, i.e. read flash cards. So far, it's had no problem reading 5 or 6 different types of flash media, as well as various USB sticks.- Has an eSATA port, which is rather handy, because my wife's case doesn't have one built in.The Bad:- As others have mentioned, the face plate is slightly too wide, which meant I had to shave it down in order to install this unit.
