Could inform the distinction in good quality starting off with the packaging alone, create good quality of the fan is prime notch, comes with several accessories you'll want, virtually silent at the lowest speed, even at highest speed all you hear is the wind noise, constructed to last a incredibly lengthy time. This is prime of the line fan solution, so why is the colour-scheme so darn ugly? I guess it's the corporation's identity, but these fans are utilized on high-end gaming rigs so the least they can do is make the colour-scheme match with other components by releasing an enthusiast edition or one thing that has much more regular fan colour-scheme. Come on Noctua, release a different color-scheme for those who like to show off their custom rigs, the beige/brown color-scheme just isn't incredibly presentable.

Noctua high qualityVery quiet and very good air flow.. not stress but flow. Low static pressure!! This is not the fan you want to use on your new CPU cooler; it is also not extremely excellent as a intake fan if you have filters or tight mesh perform and whatnot. Go with the NF-P12 for situations like that; it will be worth the added few bucks and you can turn it down some if you need to have to match the sound level of this unit. If you just need to have to move cost-free air about then this fan is excellent. Contrary to most opinions I seriously like the colors. There is just one thing about it.. they are soothing :D

These are the quietest 120mm fans I have ever utilized. I have had many that promise to be quiet, but in the end fail for one reason or yet another. These nonetheless achieve what they set out for and then some. I put two of these in an Atec P183 case, and what a distinction they did make. Pricey. Whilst naturally I was prepared to spend for the silence, I don't doubt that they would sell greater if they reduce about ŭ off the list cost. Despite the fact that the fans are rather they do move ALOT of air. I had to put the slowest jumper on one of my fans because it was causing also significantly turbulence against the fan grid on the case. I place the Medium speed jumper on the other due to the fact I could hear the WHOOSH from the fans (just barely even though). I wanted this to be an definitely SILENT machine for performing audio recording and the room its in has really low ambient sound. In a regular room I dont believe it would be noticeable.

This fan moves air quietly, as Noctua developed it to do. The silicon rubber holders are rugged sufficient that all you have to do is pull to get them to seat and hold the fan. You don't will need to be delicate. In the box is an adapter for a four-connector Molex plug. It's good for fixed-RPM uses. There is a three-lead connector so your MB can handle the speed. It's not a Noctua NF-P12. That unit moves just as a lot air, just as quietly, and can develop up a stress distinction so you can actually pull air out of your case. I have each the NF-S12B and the NF-P12, so I have compared them side by side, and swapped them in and out of the exact same case. I gave the NF-S12B 5 stars since it genuinely is an exceptional fan. But the identical corporation tends to make an even superior unit for slightly less dollars that is also sold by NewEgg.

Exceptional air movement, quite quiet, a lot of mounting selections. They have exceeded my expectations.. Immediately after finding a pair for my Thermaltake AMD LEO case, I am now determined to replace the rest of my case fans with Noctua's, and am now ordering the Noctua DH-14 CPU Cooler as properly. No complaints.. Well maybe price tag -- but I am a firm believer of "you get what you pay for" and with that in thoughts, these do not dissapoint. I have been building Pc's for over 10 years. These are by far the finest fans I have ever worked with. I was seeking for some replacements for a new case, and a co-worker pointed out Noctua. I looked into them, located these, and have NOT been disappointed.

This fan is awsome. Even though the price is pretty up there, it was worth every penny. My corsair psu fan is louder than this. I'm utilizing the rubber fan mounts and they perform wonderful. When you 1st place them on, the fan wiggles, but that doesn't impead on its efficiency. Not a fan of the colors, but who cares? I don't have a clear side panel window so no a single will see it. As lengthy as it does its job. Cost! It's tough occasions proper now. Good case fan. One of the best I've ever owned. May get one more to replace stock case fans. Newegg rocks! Maintain up the excellent function guys. You have a consumer for life.

Properly, I have had this fan operating in my Quad Core rig for 13 months now, and it still runs silent, moves air nicely, out of my Pc, and it has kept the inside of my case cool. The only "con" is that it costs so darn significantly, but that's OK because it runs quiet. If you are looking for a 120mm case fan that runs so, so silent, however moves air out of the case rapidly, and you don't thoughts paying for it, than Dad Blast It, get this Dad Blasted Fan!

Really quiet fan, even below load. Unheard of 7 year warranty for a fan! No other fan business stands by their items with such a long warranty. Not silent. They make some noise below load, but it is not the higher pitch noise that you commonly associate with a case fan. It is significantly lower in pitch, and even though audible, it is far from annoying. Folks complain about the value... how typically do you replace your case fans getting the inexpensive ones? I believed so.

Quiet fan with sophisticated styling. My Computer is really quiet but when this fan is run on the offered Ultra Low Noise Adaptor it hardly contributes to the noise of the case.Cannot be heard more than my Xigmatek 140mm fan that is operating on the Low noise adapter that came with this fan incredibly low static pressure at lowest speed, too loud for my tastes at complete speed. Maintain in mind it is not loud at complete speed, just that its louder than almost everything else in my case at full speed. I have a storm scout case with the 140mm noctua fan on my CPU cooler, a xigmatek 140 fan up top and the original red LED fan at 7v as intake in the front with a Caviar green 500gb HD.

Really quiet, solid style, exceptional warranty. Speed handle. What they present operates just fine, but possessing to use adapters to lower the voltage is out of character for such a "modern" design. Most likely the most silent 120mm fan you will ever purchase. I would have gladly offered five eggs based on overall performance, but tweaking your program on the fly is not achievable with Noctua's power adapter remedy for controlling voltage. A three phase switch or comparable solution would have created substantially much more sense, in particular for the value.

When they say silent, they mean SILENT.When configured for ULNA (the lowest speed) you can't even hear them turning.Bought three for my Antec Three Hundred. At the middle RPM setting (LNA), they are quieter than the Antec Tri-Flow fan on Low, and they push a lot far more air also! The sound of the air moving by means of the filter is louder than the fan itself!Any noise is a deep sound that's effortless to ignore.Comes with all the appropriate cables, and rubber mounts as effectively as your common screws. It doesn't come in a 140mm size too :-( Costly, but it's effectively worth it. Excellent value for the money.I can actually hear my difficult drive whirring in the background now!

Overall construction is clean and the sleeve for the cable is really nice! ... Comes with a assortment of cables to change to speed of the fan , and also rubber mounts for the fan to get rid of any vibrations. The fan is quieter than I expected it to be and the airflow was great contemplating how silent it is. Cost... but you do get what you spend for. If you are questioning about purchasing from this brand I hugely recommend it , I have bought from quite a few distinct fan companies and this is at the leading of my list as far as quality and noise is concerned.Great job Noctua!

significant 120mm fan, sound dampeners, adapters for lower speed, 6 year warranty, superbly quiet color, no LEDs These are the greatest fans I have ever applied. They are rapidly and they are quiet. The most you'll ever hear are either your hard drives, the fans from your PSU, or your video card.Following taking Noctua's NF-P12 for a spin on my CPU heatsink, I was completely sold on it. I can\'t look for any other fan of one more brand. It has to be Noctua even if it indicates seeing the fan by means of a window. No matter if individuals see it or not, the fan performs with out generating a lot of noise. And with 6 year warranty, buying this fan implies Noctua desires to prove the fan will last for years to come.Completely properly worth every penny. Obtain it.

Extremely quiet and well built. Heatshrink on plug wires makes a clean install. Color if it is going to be visible. I bought a Noctua for my processor about three years ago and it runs really quiet and cool, so I decided to replace my PC case fan with 1. It is so quiet, there have been times I thought my PC was turned off. Ambient temp inside the case a lot cooler too. Comes with almost everything you will need and is built to last and reliable. Even though the price seems high, it is properly worth it, specially with the 6 year warranty. This is the only fan I will be employing from now on.

Not what I would look at quiet at full speed, but that's why Noctua included the LNA and ULNA. I like the flexibility Noctua provides with the adapters, but it'd be nicer to have a switch or something like on Antec Tricool fans for less difficult speed adjustment. These fans really feel really solid and well created. Excellent packaging. The included accessories (silicone mounts and 4-pin molex to three-pin fan adapter) are a good touch. Really high MTBF and six year warranty. Price, but see below; you get what you pay for IMO. To be honest, you can probably do greater for the cash if low noise is a concern. The Scythe Gentle Typhoons are quite quiet fans and slightly cheaper to boot. Nonetheless, these are possibly quiet enough for most folks and a lot quiet for me with the ULNA. What I actually liked about Noctua's fans is the good quality, high MTBF, and warranty. The cost is type of high, but I've owned other Noctua products and have been very impressed with the construct high quality. I've also heard a lot of great issues about their consumer service, although I haven't had to deal with them however myself. Typically I buy inexpensive fans and can only get a few years of use out of them ahead of they commence to die on me. So I figured this time I'd spend a bit far more now and hopefully get a item that will last me a bit longer. And in the event that one thing does go wrong with the fan inside the six year warranty, I'm confident that Noctua will resolve the situation.

These are the ideal fans I have ever noticed. They have superb air flow but the actual benefit is that they ar incredibly quiet. They are so quiet that I have removed the noise reducers and run these fans full speed for maximum cooling and still no discernable noise from my computer system which is in my loved ones room. I have 4 Noctua fans in my case and my method is almost silent. No cons. The small price differenial is not big enough for me to count this as a con. The silence is far more than worth the small price distinction.

Nice color, moves ALOT of air, comes with sound dampening plugs to use in location of screws, and many adapters for reducing fan RPM for extra quiet running, but I installed it without having the adapters, and it runs pretty darn quiet as is, and did I mention that it moves a ton of air? There are 2 cons: 1 was those sound dampening plugs, they are very tricky to get in, you know, you have to hold your tonque a specific way, grab the ends with needle nose pliers, while pushing with your fingers on the outside ends. The other con was the price, need to be cheaper. Oh, and they don't give back rubs...darn! These fans beat the heck out of the stock fans that came with my R***will case.

Yeah, I'm a noise snob. I've been searching for case near-silent case fans that in fact push air for a long time. I'm sorry to say I haven't reached my goal with these NF-S12B FLXs but, but they are the closest I've gotten out of ㅂ diverse fans. It's for this reason that I'm giving 3 eggs. These fans are the greatest I've tried so far, but they are not ideal. The cost. Ouch!Much more than just the cost though, these guys have a rather annoying hum at 𞿦 RPM and higher, and that's with the noise-dampening rubber hooks. You truly require to slow them down below 900 or 800 RPM to gain quiet. There are other possibilities, but they're fairly a lot all terrible. Some brands outright lie with their statistics. Some don't require to lie, their merchandise are bad enough. Noctua doesn't have these troubles, but they don't have silent fans that push a ton of air, either.Of what's accessible at Newegg, these are the best noise to airflow fans, without question. The only challenge is, they aren't ideal at either aspect.

-Astonishingly high create quality. Feels like it is created out of concrete.-Fairly significantly as quiet as you can get whilst nonetheless getting a moving part.-Moves more air than similarly quiet fans.-Rubber mounts included with regular screws for added specialness. -High priced (Totally worth it.)-Included fan speed adapters are a weird answer. Can not very easily change fan speed without tinkering unless you have a fan controller. To me, this factor is only audible if my head is next to it. Even then I don't hear the fan, I hear the air it is moving. Some people today think the color is stupid. I think the color is special, and because of that, amazing. In my develop, this thing runs without having speed limiters and adds no noise to the machine. Would highly recommend this company to anyone who could afford it.
