Cons: -ftp software disc not included for mac, but I already had some.-gigabit ethernet is a waste (slow)-fan a little loud

Pros: -sleek-solid-usb ports for accessories-good (online) manual-comes with everything you need (except maybe...)

I only get 2megs/sec ftping from my mac, about 5megs/sec from my pc. speed is not really a concern for me though.. I'm running it on a 10/100 router so that may be a small issue but I highly doubt it.it is much smaller than I was expecting as well.it matches your mac! even the blue glowing led.the fan is a little loud.overall I WOULD recomend it as a cheap(ish) backup solution. I put two 1tb caviar green's in it for raid1 and it's working great.
