When I purchased these, they were not marketed by OCZ as ''designed for Intel'' Needless to say, my ASUS M4A79XTD-EVO board does not like them. On OCZs forum and on other sites' reviews there are many complaints of these not working with AM3s. From what I've read those who have the Intel boards have had great luck with them. Not me though. System: Asus M4A79XTD-EVO AMD AM3 965 Black 3.4 processor GeForce 6600 GT video Windows 7 |

Motherboard detected them as 1066MHz but I was able to overclock them to 1600MHz. I bought 2 sets of this, all 4 sticks had RAM errors when run thru MemTest, even when underclocked! Now that the price has gone up on these they are no longer good value. |

Fast, efficient, OC's well. Not much else needs mentioning. A product IMO. |

I was looking forward to putting these in my new installation. Unfortunately, 1 module was DOA. So I can't comment of the performance. Better luck next time. |
This ram gave me so much headache at first because it kept on crashing. I was able to fix it after two hours of research. In order to make it work you must adjust the bios memory voltage and timing settings. I'm guessing Intel users would be happy so I'm not giving it a bad rating because after I changed those settings I haven't had a problem since! I found the settings on the manufacturer website.
