Looks Nice You just think you are saving cash buying from OCZ with a rebate. That is untill you understand it will take practically three months prior to you see any rebate. Then they give it to you on a credit card you have to spend someplace that wants to hassle with a Gift Credit Card. They should hold onto the rebate monies for 3 months so they can make interest on all of it. It only requires about a week to get the rebate in authorized status but thirteen more weeks to concern it. What a joke !! Manufacturer Response:Hello, rebates give our shoppers an chance to get a partial refund on their acquire. This savings is a lot more than would be achievable with out the rebate. We understand that not everyone desires to deal with rebates, and we respect your opinion.Thank you

-lots of connectivity possibilities... in terms of energy -none Powers my personal computer no dilemma with a i5-655k OCed and GTS 450 SC OCed also. Lots of cables wish I had gotten a modular energy supply since a lot of cables I do not use, but oh nicely, its cheaper and performs just as effectively.

ALOT of energy for a good price. This PSU powers almost everything I have now, and supports even much more.I appreciate the jacket surrounding the cabling. It appears good in my clear-sided case. None The handful of testimonials obtainable on NewEgg just about deterred me from buying this PSU. Right after browsing for evaluations elsewhere, I identified a lot of persons are pleased; as am I.

Supposedly revised, so no far more burning plastic compared to the initially version. warranty does not carry more than, receiving this one as a replacement.others have reported the buring smell.OCZ offers terrible client help, steer clear of if you can I would not get one more OCZ product, they anticipate me to spend for shipping for a defective psu that lasted only 9 months. Get a thing else, not OCZ goods though. save your self time and dollars. Manufacturer Response:Hello, this solution is a redesigned model and does not have the problem that you mention. There has been a misunderstanding. Your 3 year warranty carries more than from your original obtain. IE: If you had your PSU for 1 year, your replacement unit will be beneath warranty for 2 years. We follow typical industry practices in our RMA policies. Thank you

Not that I noticed any. Failed in a two month, firm's tech help is virtually non-existing. My calls finish up with a clueless non-technical person who can't make a choice and informed me I have to wait for days to get contact from a technical person. In no way I will acquire replacement earlier then a couple weeks, and likely a month. Firm is not standing behind the item. Buyer assistance manager named Brian, - just informed me they have hundreds of clients with failed goods waiting and I wont get replacement for a LOOONG time. According to him, - this scenario is typical and "just fine". Stay away from this solution! Manufacturer Response:Hello, we are sorry for the difficulty. We think that there has been a misunderstanding. We approach our RMAs for replacement products as rapidly as feasible. In some situations a product may be out of stock, but we in no way intend to inform a customer that it will be a lengthy time and that this is standard. Wonderful components = excellent reliability (this is true for what's inside the PSU box). Powers almost everything without a fuss and is prepared for most upgrades any person will throw at it in this price tag range. Wonderful Cost! THE CONNECTOR! About a couple of weeks into my ownership i seen that if you jiggle the connector, the Computer will turn off. I don't know if this is a manufacturing defect or just how it is made, but this is unacceptable as I have lost energy in several multiplayer matches on quite a few games. I am working with the 700W StealthXstream I not the StealthXstream II.

Changed out for an old 430 to rouble shoot process booted right up. Normally I am all Antec or Silverstone this was a test run for me and OCZ I create 30-40 systems a year, they failed I will not be employing their PS in my consumers Pc's The model I have differs slightly from this model in model number but the looks and specs are equivalent. I got a wonderful deal on this power provide, assuming I get the rebate back. Rebate procedure wasn't also painful, but they said it can take a couple of months to get the funds back to you. It's quiet, the voltage all seem fine. I've had wonderful luck with this product so far. At it's normal value point there are possibly greater power supplies out there. I got this on the Monday following Black Friday, so I got it for quite affordable.

Fantastic cables structure and plenty of SATA connectors. I had trouble obtaining the 20Ʋ connector on the 24 pin MB socket. I'm not a fan of the 20Ʋ on a 24 socket and I didn't read this was the connector. My fault, not the product. Seems to be a fine PSU

Started burning out although I was out of the room, and was smoking when I returned. made the property smell like burned plastic. I'm really hesitant to replace it with yet another OCZ. It operates wonderful. None. I have this mounted on the bottom of my Antec 200 Expense Effective situation so the cables are lengthy sufficient to attain the CPU connectors which is really cool. I tested this PSU since alot of individuals were saying that these OCZ PSUs were coming to them DOA. Mine works perfectly. I'm content.

The only "pro" I have for this PSU is the consumer service. They have always repaired/replaced the defective ones back. Even though this PSU appears to be a good worth and constructed nicely, they merely have a high rate of failure. I have a Pc repair company and have replaced four of these PSU's that I had installed within the last two years. From time to time they start to bring about method hangs/reboots and other times they smoke up the property with a burning plastic smell. OCZ need to recall this PSU or at least replace it upon failure devoid of demanding return of the defective unit. At least that would not make the consumer have to pay anouther expense for a item that has obvious style or manufacture defect. The existing policy calls for me to send the old unit to them Just before they will send a replacement. This suggests that I have to obtain a replacement simply because I cannot wait 6 weeks to receive the replacment. This ongoing difficulty and failure to exercising a high quality management system has triggered me to distrust other OCZ solutions such as memory, flash drives, SSD, and power supplies.

Great 700 watts of power to feed into your gaming rig. Decent amount of cables to be in a position to connect. Comes with a wall to PSU cable, I have heard of some not coming with it. Has a master on/off switch on the back, which will either permit or absolutely shut-off all electricity flowing through the PSU. Sturdy seeming, actually shouldn't be receiving beat up inside your personal computer, black finish is very scratch resistant. I do wish the cables had been selectable like my old PSU, but I was absolutely aware that this PSU did not function like that. So this is just a smaller warning to whoever may read this. Great hunting, huge fan that doesn't make any noise at all hardly but nevertheless moves some air. Do wish for some LEDs in it, but I knew that there wasn't any when I bought it so I don't truly care about that. General nice PSU, good for everyone needing dual video card support, or wanting to make certain their medium to high finish gaming laptop has the power to run correct.

Appear to deliver lots of power Not silent by any standards, while this item is described as a silent power provide. Soon after I changed my cpu heatsink, it became the noisiest component in my Computer. It may well be ok for you if you are using a stock heatsink or if you don't care about noise. When mounted in an antec 300, the psu will blow hot air straight on your gpu.

Worked fine and ran quiet for the 1st two months Soon after two months it began to give off a slight burnt electrical odor. Within two weeks it's dead. I have lost self-confidence in OCZ. I had issues with their memory and now their PSU. Their goods are not worth the money especially if you have to rip your personal computer apart just about every couple of months to replace the OCZ components.

It looks better then the previous version. OCZ quickly replaced my Messed up units Just as worthless as the prior version that this issue replaced. Can't drive a system that demands much less then 400 watts! Random Shut Downs.Program: (no overclocking, AT ALL!)i7 930ga-x58a-ud3rthree x 2GB mushkin black lineHIS HD 56703 x SATA II HDDS 񣚠 RPM) I got a 700 watt PSU thinking it would be an overkill and let me to run my system without having getting to worry about overloading something. Incorrect!!!I not too long ago upgraded to an ATI HD 5670, for which a 400 watt PSU is suggested. So, I upgraded my three year old, 430 watt correct power trio, to the original 700 watt StealthXstream to have some power headroom. That PSU was not able to run my system longer then ten minutes without freezing it or shutting down entirely. So, I swapped out all other components. identical factor! The I decided to put in my old PSU. My method ran for a week without a hick up. Place in the OCZ, started the freezes once again. I got an RMA with OCZ, used the old PSU whilst waiting for replacement. Then I got this PSU as an alternative of the original StealthXstream. The Random Shutdowns came back! Each 1 to three hours. It a power provide truly that challenging to make?My guess is that they just changed the name to StealthXstream "II" from previous version to escape all the negative newegg reviews. I enjoy the modular setup. Tends to make organization of your box incredibly basic. Preserve only the energy cords you need, unhook the other individuals and stow them away. I have two boxes. Each and every with 1 of these. 1 box has in no way had a difficulty, the other began shutting down at random intervals about two weeks right after buy. At 1st the shutdowns had been couple of and far in between, but ultimately it would only stay on for five minutes at a time... then 1 minute... then it was restarting each second. 3 months old... completely crapped out. As you can see there are other evaluations that state this similar dilemma. If you purchase this product, get the extended 1 year warrenty for ten bucks. Newegg will not replace my 3 month old acquire.
