Cons: CapSlow
Pros: SmallGood qualityPriceWarranty Comment:
This USB quality is good, not those plastic one. But the cap is easy to lost and unable buy even from OCZ.The price is excellent on sale. OCZ always has a good warranty. The speed on this USB only around 2MB/s to 4MB/s, compare to Rally2 8MB/s average. This one is slow. |

Cons: It's your usual USB 2.0 thumb drive
Pros: Small and convenientDoes what it's supposed to do, file transfer Comment:
Got this USB drive when it was on sale and hooked it up to my keychain. The cap still stays on and it's very convenient to use for transfering files at the computer lab at school. 8GB is more than enough to use for office documents. Get a larger USB drive if you're thinking about transfering media or other formats that are larger in size. |

Cons: -8gb-no keyring
Pros: -Cheap-Works-Black-Small Comment:
Nice little memory stick. Does what it's supposed to do. Doesn't come with any stupid file managing software ala Sandisk. The cap fits very snug so there is no worry of it slipping off. With everything being online storage I don't really use it too much now, but it's nice to have in case. It would have been nice if it came with a keyring. |

Cons: Very cheap assembly quality
Pros: 8GB, aluminium casing Comment:
The Flash drive literally disassembled itself the next day I received it.I was just pulling the cap from the flash drive, when all of a sudden the exterior aluminium casing of the flash drive came off on the other hand...The glue was all dry and very bad applied. The flash drive still works, but each time I try to disconnect it from the USB port, or I try to remove the plastic cap, the whole exterior casing comes off. I'm not using much often now this flash drive. |

Cons: None that I've experienced.
Pros: It was very, very affordable compared to a lot of other choices even at its regular price. Comment:
I guess my needs are not for an extraordinarily fast drive. I have transferred HD 1080p video files and played them from it on a WD Media Player with no problems and works really well for that. File transfer was reasonable - admittedly not the fastest I have experienced; however, way-better than any of my older lower capacity drives.I've also used it as an installation flash for UBUNTU and it works flawlessly as it should.I bought this during the NCIX Grand Opening on November 12 at 1887 Broadway in Vancouver, BC for $6.00 + EHF + Tax and with the $5.00 MIR = WOW $1.00 + change. Too bad 1 per household for the MIR. I wish I bought more even at $6.00 each. Quite handy to have and more than adequate for most purposes. Cons: - Slow
Pros: - Small- Light Comment:
No problems with this flash drive, does as expected.Do notice it is slower than a 8GB Sony I have, but for the price and size you cant ask for much. Would purchase again if the price was right. |
Pierre_C@NCIX Rating: Review Date: 10/16/11 |
Cons: Not the fastest
Pros: Inexpensive Comment:
Got this with a rebate, so it was rather inexpensive. The speed isn't the fastest one but for the price it's pretty tough to beat! |

Cons: -Slow as all hell! Not worth the savings!
Pros: -Cost-Appearance-Construction Comment:
I got this for the promo MIR price of $3 bucks with an SSD, and honestly, it still isn't worth it. It's just too slow, painfully so, even compared with other cheap drives. It really is worth your time and money to invest in a USB stick with decent speeds, especially if you are actually moving gigabytes of data "on the go". This drive will "Stop you from going".The OCZ SSD is graet tho! :D |

Cons: A little big
Pros: 8gb for 2.99 is a killer deal! Comment:
Wanted to have a 8gb usb key for windows installations, but I've always found them a little bit expensive but at this point it was a great purchase. |

Cons: None.
Pros: Great price. Comment:
Not much to say about these. They are just like any other flash drives I have but at a very good price. Rebate only took 2-3 weeks which was nice as well. |

Cons: none
Pros: buck a gig, windows 7 installs in about 15 minutes or so, metal cover blue light really kool Comment:
i got it for 8 dollars as a promo for buying an ssd adapter, cant complain about 8 bucks for this thing, im gonna use to install windows 7 and thats about it it actually takes less than 15 or so minutes to install it to an ssd as opposed to the cd, who even uses a cd anymore?. thank you ncix as always you are the besetest comapny in the worlds. |
Kuldeep@NCIX Rating: Review Date: 08/10/11 |
Cons: A little bulky but not too bad
Pros: Works as advertised! Comment:
Standard USB key that works as advertised. It's a little bulky (as are most of this type) - so if you need a smaller form factor, look at alternatives. Can't beat the price on this one though! |
Howard_Y@NCIX Rating: Review Date: 01/17/11 |
Cons: Slow
Pros: CompactThe cap fits snug onto the usb driveDurable metal feel Comment:
I've used this for a couple of months now, and no issues, except that it's slow. Read speed is faster than write speed. Takes me 20 minutes to write 3 to 4 gbs of data onto the drive. |
Henry_F@NCIX Rating: Review Date: 01/02/11 |
Cons:
Speed SlowBack plastic part will break
Pros: PriceQuality Comment:
The 1st gen of these drives were great, read/write similar & sometimes faster than the rally2; however the ones sold in this sku are 2nd/3rd gen, slower speeds (writesw3-5mb/s). Still good for the price, and hard aluminum construction. |
Anson_L@NCIX Rating: Review Date: 10/27/10 |
Cons:
Slow in writing
Pros: Cheap, aluminum casing Comment:
Can't beat the price for $5 after rebate. It's good for general use. Read speed is about 15MB/s and write is only around 3-4MB/s even for large files. |
eon90210@NCIX Rating: Review Date: 10/21/10 |
Cons:
Slow write but isn't that a the case with all USB drive's? I have not compared it to other USB drive's, I just think it writes slow.
Pros: Price, Mail In Rebate Comment:
Bought on sale for $4.99 after mail in rebate. Works as it should. Using this to watch Divx movies on my DVD player. The drive is fast enough that forwarding and rewinding is smooth, at least on my Divx DVD player. Sent in mail the rebate and OCZ email'd me a week later saying that they recieved my rebate form and will send me a cheque. If it does come then the price I paid for this USB drive is a great bargain. Activity LED on drive is red fyi. |

Pros: Fast reading / writing speed, small footprint Comment:
Overall, it's a very good USB flash drive, I got it for 4.99 after rebate. An additional small storage for netbook/laptop that is using small SSD drive. |

Cons:
Speed I guess?
Pros: Design, Capacity Comment:
Overall this product was well worth the money for style, capacity, and price point. Product has a great design and I am happy with the purchase. I also bought one for a more "tech-savvy" friend as a gift and I think it went over pretty well. |

Cons: Can loose lid, but that normal on "lid" sticks.
Pros: Well built.Compact.Keyring compatible. Comment:
This drive is very well built. I have had an enormous amount of "budget" flash drives, but this one is one of the best ones I have used. Though it is not super high speed, its is not slow. Great buy! |
- regular 8gb usb flash drive that works.- gave it away to replace someone's 4gb.- manufacturer's rebate at the time- can fit in lots of documents, pictures and some audio
