Cons: -occasional failures when copying large files or large numbers of files to the thumb drive-LED cover is loose (still works)

Pros: -speed-compact-fairly durable
Comment:
This was my 1st flash drive and it's gotten plenty of use. As stated, I have had occasional issues with some files not getting completely written to the drive (eg. pictures). I'm unsure of the cause, and always properly unmount before disconnecting. When it does work (the other 99.9% of the time) it's performs very well.I carry it around in my pocket almost everywhere I go. Sure beats 3 CD's.

Cons: The paint gets faded and worn, no detachable lanyard.

Pros: Very durable, small, life time OCZ warranty, extremely fast compared to any other usb drive.
Comment:
I keep this drive on my key chain, and the black paint is starting to wear off. The drive is slightly heavier than most usb drives, however it is extremely durable. The stick fills in under a few minutes, and I have not lost any data yet (previously my cheap 512mb drive died for no reason). The drive is very small and slim with no bulky plastic case making it very easy to fit in your pocket or on a key chain. Overall this is an excellent drive!

Cons: fairly easy to misplace the cap. gets a bit warm while in use.

Pros: slim, lightweight, fast transfer rates.
Comment:
I love this little thing, it hasn't given me a single problem since I've gotten it and I've been using it practically everyday. I'd recommend it to anyone who doesnt own a flash drive.... and even to those who do.

Cons: - Unreliable- Cap may fall off (doesn't snap on and may catch on something)- No key ring attachment (although it does go around your neck)

Pros: + Size+ Low Price+ Speed
Comment:
I ordered this drive after reading the glowing reviews touting its speed and marveling at its low price compared to other drives of its size (2GB). Also, OCZ was reputed to be a good brand and offers a lifetime warranty. When the drive arrived in February of this year, I was awed by its small size (even compared to my Kingston Data Traveller II's, which are not huge themselves). While I did not directly compare this drive to my old ones, its performance seemed very similar, if not better. It's bargain price made this discovery all the sweeter. However, on the 2nd day I was idly copying files when a "glitch" occurred. I say "glitch" because I do not know to this day exactly what happened. Not only did my transfer fail, but all the data already on the drive was corrupted! Even the .TXT files were all gibberish! Frustrated by this development, I formatted the drive and did not have problems with it again.....until now.I tried to copy some photos from my digital camera onto the Rally and it locked up. The access light was flashing but the data wasn't transferred and the drive became inaccessible (temporarily). After several minutes I got a pop-up message from WinXP that the "Delayed Write Failed" and the "data was lost". This occurred through repeated attempts. Unlike the first "glitch", the data on the drive was not lost, but the new data never did get written. Now, days later, The Rally seems to work again but I have lost confidence in its ability to store my data. Nobody wants a drive that may randomly refuse to accept new data, or worse, corrupt your current data.Incentives like mail-in rebates and $7.99 ExpressShipping from NCIX make the Rally an attractive buy for the budget-conscious data-monger, but those who want a reliable drive to carry important data may want to look elsewhere.

Cons: Metal casing is fasten tight, a little bit annoying

Pros: Small, Good size, nice blue indicator light, metal casing, very fast transfers, lifetime warrenty
Comment:
Bought this about 4 months ago for $100, wish i waited a bit cause it is now selling for $75. Great buy either way, super fast transfers, great look, and great size. Have been using this almost everyday, haven't had any problems. Only complaint is the fact that the metal casing isn't tight around it, so it makes a bit of noise. Great buy, would buy again if they came out with an even larger drive.

Cons: easy to misplace cap

Pros: small, fast, sleek
Comment:
wow, all i can say is that this thing is puny! i was expecting a small little thing based on the reviews, but even then they don't do it justice. it's just so tiny. Even the photos on the web exaggerate it's size. I would say it's smaller than a piece of juicy fruit. As for speed, this is easily the fastest USB 2.0 transfer device i have.

I've been use this to keep my work documents and make quick transfers from my work laptop to my home PC. Couldn't be happier with the results so far.At one point thought it stopped working, but it turned out to be a non-working USB port (easy to discover because the blue LED didn't light up) to another. The package also comes with a USB extention cable, which comes in handy with my home PC where the USB ports are hidden behind the machine.

Cons: USB 2.0 LimitedPopular comment - keep an eye on that lid

Pros: Sleek, fits next to other USB cable plugs.Aluminum casing, very strong and resists crushing.FAST - very fast file transfers, probably USB2.0's max.
Comment:
This does exactly what is required of a USB flash drive, fast file transfers, portable due to it's size, case strength, and key chain hole. It should stand up to the wear and tear in a pocket with keys. But the ends are made of plastic(including the keychain connector), so it isn't as strong as possible, but pretty close. For your info, I did some testing, shown below.File benchmarking results: Sisoft Sandra 2005-----------------------FAT32---FATBuffer Read(MB/s)------22------20Sequential Read(MB/s)--22------20Random Read(MB/s)------11------9Buffered Write(MB/s)---5-------4.071Sequential Write(MB/s)-16------14Random Read(MB/s)------8-------6Access Time (ms)-------42------63It comes as FAT, if you format it to FAT32 with a cluster size of 4096 bytes, you further increase the speed by a bit.You can vary your cluster size from 512 bytes to 16K to change access times and transfer rates as well, depending on your application. It is definately a good buy, I recommend it, especially since it has a life time warranty. Cons: the cap cover can be misplaced

Pros: -small compact design-very fast transfer/write speeds-aluminum casing-keychain/lanyard-blue LED indicator-2 Gb storage
Comment:
Purchased two of these OCZ 2gb flash memory drives. Right away noticed a speed increase compared to an older different brand 256mb flash drive.-The OCZ USB key was recognized instantly when plugged into the USb slot, there was no searching/seeking time for it, unlike older, slower USB keys-Very small design enables other usb devices to be plugged into surrounding USB slots.(some keys are big and bulky and makes it impossible to plug in other devices beside them)-decent price for 2Gb stick.-very large size enables transfer of huge files-aluminum shell gives added protection from breakage-USB cap stays secure when attached, except it only can be attached a certain wayOVERALL - Excellent purchase

Pros: - Fast, durable, tiny

I'm a software dev and work both from home and in the office different days. This was the perfect item to use to bring code and other files back and forth. Sure beats hauling a laptop! This is super fast and with a few batch files I set this thing up to backup/restore my code projects when plugging in the drive. A definately excellent product. One thing to watch out for... the small cap can be easily lost so place it somewhere safe when plugging the drive in.

Cons: USB bottleneck

Pros: Speed, speed, speed. And it looks good
Comment:
This memory stick is by far the best on the market. It was much faster then my older Sandisk usb drive and the capacity is 4 times as much for a similar introduction price. The dual channel memory really makes a difference and better takes advantage of the USB 2.0 standard, however, the USB is the bottleneck since the memory could theoretically perform much faster then the usb bus can handle. Worth the buy for sure. I wont go back to the regular drives

Cons: No bonus software on it from the factory. Still a little pricey...

Pros: Dual channel speed, aluminum housing and smaller than some "competitors" product.
Comment:
Replaced my Sandisk flash drive with this one for greater capacity and speed. I'm happy with everything about it except that the Sandisk one was loaded with bonus software. The OCZ unit was blank.Otherwise, I suspect the price will come down if you're not in a hurry. So weigh your options before making the plunge.

Cons: lanyard clip is weak

Pros: Small, Sturdy, Fast, Plays nice with Cardbus USB adapters
Comment:
I bought this because my work laptop (Dell Inspiron 5000e) is old and less than reliable, so I use robocopy everyday to back up my data to the flash drive before going home. It's quite a fast drive. I've not timed it or anything, but I noticed the difference between it and my older Sandisk Cruzer Mini right away.Another good point that I've just discovered is that it works with my Diablo 4-port USB Cardbus adapter WITHOUT needing the external power cable, whereas my cruzer mini would not work unless this was plugged in. Having to deal with one less cable everyday makes OCZ my new favorite flash drive vendor. Oh, and ignore the reviews about the supposedly easily loseable cap. Mine has a snug friction fit and, unlike the cruzer line, does not look like it's going to break within weeks. My only real beef is that the snap on the lanyard is quite weak, making me worry that it may separate without my knowing. I've swapped it with the one from my Sandisk, which is functionally identical but much stronger.
