The latches truly hold well on just about every drive I have, and each board connector that supports latches. They even hold well on board connectors that don't help latches. Most of my other latching cables only appear to connect solidly to devices that accept the latch, and different cables seem to "prefer" diverse connectors. Cable management was a lot less complicated with these cables, considering that they had been compatible and connected securely with every thing. I didn't purchase 1 for every single single device I have. But. I have numerous fileservers, the largest of which has fifteen challenging drives in it at present. I usually pick up whichever cable is the cheapest for the length I need. Following acquiring four of these for an expansion final month, this series of cables is most likely going to be the only one I obtain from now on. Does its job, worked effectively as SATA 2 connectivity and transfers.Rounded cable aids so substantially in placing it and organizing in the case. the snap in feature does make it tough to unplug the connectors. I more than estimated the necessary length by about ten inches, but the rounded cable made it simple to push off and bend the further length about inside. Can't do that simply with a flat cable.
