Cons: Heatsinks not secured very well

Pros: Price, performance, ease of set-up
Comment:
Hassle-free setup using raid 10, Setup the raid, popped 7 pro in the dvd drive and was loaded and running in less than an hour, didn't require a floppy.....sweet! Nice bios overclocking features, I appreciate the color coded voltage warnings. Just use a ripper single GPU, like the Radeon HD 5870, and you won't care about crossfire, sli or the need for a huge power supply.

Cons: laks or dirvers ans good doftware for win 7not enough space for cross fire

Pros: god priceIt is stable with a lot of charge
Comment:
The bord is solid. Runs well on core i7 Win 7 x64. The software is a mess on win 7. The AI engine closes does not adapt to the running applications. The overclocking is bettr to be done in BOIS. The soft forces you to play with the voltage instead of adjusting all to the desired speed. Make sure what you want to do with the PC becuase thre is not enough place for 2 4800 series ATI. There are 3 slots but inbetween they put the PCI (wireless crd, etc)...

Cons: Price

Pros: Rock Solid - No really, it is rock solid
Comment:
It's a great board. No problem with it so far. Supports i7 chipset and triple channel with DDR3. Poor SLI board, but I have Raedon HD 4890 and it works perfectly fine.Would definitely do it again with my current i7

Cons: Poor layout of PCI slots

Pros: Overclocks well
Comment:
Runs my I7 at 4ghz easily. Do not buy if you are planning to use 2 video cards, the only 2 X16 PCI slots are on top of each other and this ends up smothering the bottom card. One 4870 was idling at 55c, the other at 4870 at 75c.

Cons: Sata plugs turned 90 degrees

Pros: nothing spectacular , standard mobo
Comment:
Does the job. The sata plugs are turned 90 degrees making them hard to access if you need to unplug them. Same thing with the IDE plugs. Maybe this standard on new motherboards, I dont know, but it sure is annoying.

Cons: None.

Pros: Plenty of USB ports.Good Built in Sound Card.

Purchased this motherboard with my new pc build. No problems so far. The included software, EPU-6 Engine works great at slowing the fans and performance to reduce noise.Works perfect with the i920 processor.

Cons: Heatsinks on Vrms and mofsets seem a little small and they do get warm!

Pros: Good price, overclocks my I7 DO to 4 ghz
Comment:
I bought this because I am too cheap to buy the expensive boards. Having said that I did manage to get my I7 to 4 ghz stable by flashing to the newest bios. If I was to buy again I would check out the EVGA offerings.

Cons: - Lowest Asus i7 board

Pros: - Feautures- Quality- Package content
Comment:
I have always liked Asus because of small details and with this board, once again I was surprised and pleased with all of the small details of the package. For example, there was 4 SATA cable but 2 of them were at 90 degrees for easier installation on hard to reach hdd. I don't know about other brand, but up to now Asus is the only one I saw putting so much attention to those details to help people set up there computer. Also the manual is well written with lots of details so it help a lot when building a computer. It made years that I haven't built a computer from the ground but with the manual and patience, everything went well and I had no problem on my first boot up.The only negative I have found up to now is the presence of 6 SATA port only on the board. My raid 10 takes 4 of those and my ssd another 1 so I'm left with a single SATA port for optical drive or for another ssd in the future. 8 port would have been a lot nicer.

This was the first Core i7 bored i've worked with so i dont really have much of an opinion on it yet. Being the SE model, it was the cheapest of the Asus offerings. No complaints whatsoever.

Cons: after installing the sound drivers, win xp didnt even detect it at all. il probably try win7 and see but i doubt.

Pros: Everything works fine with my setup:i7 920hd 4870 1gb3x2gb ocz pc1600 ddr3 2000
Comment:
this board been report with many sound issue, either no sound or sound has static so i rather buy a pci sound card instead.asus is one of the few brands that took up ddr3 2000 this quickly so i didn't have much choice. RMA'ing this product will cost me around the same price for a cheap sound card in shipping .i would recommend for those who does have the sound problem to get a sound card instead for the long run because in the long run if the 2nd motherboard doa you need to send it back again for another whooping shipping cost. therefore the total you spent rma'ing it back, you could just gotten a good creative lab sound card anyway.overall this motherboard is still worth it since its a LGA 1366 board with ddr3 2000 pc16000 capabilities

Cons: no floppy port

Pros: Good bios overclocking options, stable
Comment:
Good value. Overclocking options the same as on the more expensive P6T Deluxe, although there are some significant differences between these two that might make the deluxe version more stable. So far my i920 system is 100% stable.

Cons: None for me as of yet.

Pros: Very stable at overclocking, runs cool, great layout.
Comment:
Before this, I had a Gigabyte ex58-ud3r board and it crapped out just after the 30-day return policy. It started by blue screens popping up every now and then, then it got worse until the computer wouldn't start whatsoever. I decided to get the P6T and it is running better than the gigabyte did when I first got it.

Pros: Can easily overclock my i7 920 to 4ghz no problem at 21*191 (have to update  to the lastest BIOS).
Comment:
It is at a good price. Although it has no SLi, if Xfire is all your need, then no worry about that. Otherwise it's a good motherboard to get!

Cons: Dead on arrival

Pros: Looks, Good Layout for mainstream user
Comment:
Unfortunatly, The board I recieved was DOA - But after having it for a few days and messing around with it (to the point of scratching it and voiding my warranty)I can say that the layout is excellent. I had no spacing issues installing my aftermarket cooler, ram, GPU etc.I can`t really comment of anything past that as I have no first hand experience with it. However, The lack of SLI support in a x58 is worrying me a little because I don`t like restricting myself to a single brand, especialy in the GPU market where things are always changing.

Cons: Lower number of SATA plugs, no USB backplanes included

Pros: Fairly well laid out
Comment:
I haven't gotten around to overclocking on this board yet, so I can't really comment on that. The good:- Overall the board is fairly well laid out, with the IDE port & the SATA ports that could get in the way of long video cards, oriented 90 degrees to the board, making sure to keep the cables out of the way.- A fairly well laid out(at least for me), and useful mix of PCI, & PCI-E slots for users that may need to use a mix of older & newer expansion cards.- Plenty of room to install a large heatshink(like my TRUE 120) on the CPU.- Lots of tweaking options for overclocking. The bad:- As another reviewer mentioned, not as many cables as there are SATA ports.- Lots of USB ports, particularly on-board headers, but no backplanes provided to plug into them.- One of the fan plugs is in a rather awkward spot, which could mean you'll need an extension to reach it(on mine, the wires JUST reach around the video card).Overall, a very nice board, especially for the price, considering that some of these X58 boards require a 2nd mortgage to buy.

Cons: -No rear case fan header near the back of the board, it is in the middle of the board. Unless you get creative (or have a big video card!) it is very difficult to route the wire to keep it hidden.-The core overclocking based options are in the AI Tweaker panel but there are still some lingering settings that are in other areas. Why can't a vendor just put everything in one spot for us?-Only 4 SATA cables included when 6 headers are on the board

Pros: -Excellent layout and feature set for price in comparison to the Gigabyte similar price offering (only has 4 ram slots)-Seems to overclock well with my 920. I have it running at 175x20 (3.5GHz) at 1.2V and I am loading to around 68c on the cores or 57c on the CPU.
Comment:
Not having worked with any other X58 board I can't really comment on how this compares to the higher priced offerings. Also on overclocking it is always YMMV as it comes down to surrounding components (PSU, RAM, Cooling etc), the chip itself, and the overclocking experience of the user. Without much effort I was able to get it stable at 3.5GHz while undervolting which I found to be very impressive. More tweaking is yet to come but I felt this was an excellent start. In comparison to a Q9550 system of similar specs it is around $150-$175 more or 10-15%. For the simple reason that you will be able to upgrade to different chips in the future (hopefully... come on Intel!) one should think to make the investment.Machine:ASUS P6T SEIntel Core i7 920 (on a Scythe cooler)G.Skill PC-1600 6 x 2GB (Great for cheap!)XFX 4970 1GB2 x 150GB Raptors RAID02 x 640GB WD RAID1
