Cons: No mounts included nor notes in the documentation regarding use of mounts - some people less experienced installing this on their own may have trouble.

Pros: Easy to set up, pretty good documentation, lots of USB ports and expansion capability.
Comment:
This seems like a pretty good board with decent documentation. I had it installed in no time. Easy to use bios with good error messages so you can figure out what the issues are.

Cons: 6 SATA ports. Somewhat boring design

Pros: Good technology, compatibility.
Comment:
I bought this board as a replacement for a P8P67 Pro. It works well as a drop-in replacement. The board is more narrow than the P8P67 Pro, not making use of the 3rd row of standoff's the previous board did. This makes the edge of the board prone to flexing more easily.Only 6 SATA ports.Otherwise, good feature set. Nice BIOS UI.

Cons: Black PCB has a slight brown colour to it.

Pros: Looks good, and has a great AI Suite.
Comment:
This board has some great features and an elegant look for a blue themed case. The AI Suite software has some nice features including the FAN Xpert+ and an auto CPU overclocking tool (TurboV EVO) which can help a new overclocker get a stable starting point. It's got lots of useful I/Os including 4 USB 3.0, fibre optic, display port and HDMI. For those who want to do 3 way SLI make sure your PSU isn't directly beneath the MOBO otherwise you will not have room for a dual slot card in the 3rd SLI PCI slot. Overall it's got a lot of stuff on a well priced board with a great software Suite.

Cons: Seems there are issues with resetting/shutdowns. The solution that has worked for many, including myself, is to do a BIOS reset. After doing so my computer restarts/shutsdown normally.

Pros: Great board for the price

Cons: None.

Pros: 3 PCIe slotsOnboard graphicsCost
Comment:
Great motherboard. The 3 PCIe slots allow me to run up to 3 video cards in addition to the onboard instead of trying to track down old, slow, over-priced PCI graphics cards.Board fits well inside the computer case and connectors are easy to get to. I have purchased several of these motherboards (I only buy ASUS). They are easy to install and bios is easy to navigate.I really have no complaints.

Cons: May be my case, but it doesn't feel very sturdy (bends when putting pressure).

Pros: Very good layout, excellent quality for price
Comment:
I should have opted for a higher model as I feel I may have a hard time deciding whether I upgrade my PC in a couple of years or change motherboard altogether. Other than that, packaging was ok and accessories, although few, were enough. This model will definitely work with a 1000$- build, but as I was going for a 1500$+, I should have chosen the PRO or Deluxe model.

Cons: -Flimsy board-Some limited deep overclocking options (see belowno CPU PLLsmall phase options (up to 120% current)

Pros: -lots of connections (USB, SATA)-Crossfire + Sli (and extra PCIE)-Decent quality build-Great Bios -Finally great PCI, PCIE spacing on an Asus board
Comment:
Solid board for the money. Most z77 boards are more and offer the same or less - if you want to get into the newest generation at a low cost, this is a great choice. You'll get USB 3, SATA 3, PCIE CFX and SLI. Good bios options. Asus branded quality. Just don't expect 4.8Ghz overclocks...the VRMs can't handle it.

Cons: see below

Pros: Stable, easy install, good OC performance, good features
Comment:
This is my 3rd Asus board over the years, generally I've been impressed with the product and company. However, I have had a problem with the SATA ports on this board, where the SATA3, and one SATA2 port do not detect devices reliably. This is a rare, but not completely unknown issue with this board. I'm RMAing it as we speak, and fully expect the replacement to function flawlessly. Every product can have issues, I would only encourage anyone purchasing this board to check that all ports work properly when setting up their system, however you should do a full shake down of any product when installing it.

This board is great. As usual as soon as I turned it on everything worked without a hitch, RAM, CPU, etc. I always buy ASUS boards, I find they never fail and this one is no different. Only wish this board had more features, but for the price you pay, you can't complain.

Cons: - The SATA ports are oriented sideways, which is weird and makes putting in the cables a bit more difficult than necessary

Pros: - The BIOS is very user friendly, making boot order and performance changes very simple- The PCI-Ex16 slots are located far enough apart to facilitate SLI or Xfire.- The manual is actually very detailed, which seems like a small thing, but for newbies, knowing which thing goes where is a lifesaver.
Comment:

Cons: Software - should have an option to install all system-drivers in one click.

Pros: A lot of features considering the price; quality built; easy to update. Good manual.
Comment:
This is a very good board for an average computer user, especially being on the lower-end side of Asus lineup. If anything, I find it has too many features - some of which can be confusing hence difficult to set up. USB support is a little difficult to understand and it took me some time to finally configure properly. Biggest issues arised when I installed the Asus AI Suite II and tried to configure things further. Enabling the "USB 3.0 Boost" played havoc on my thumb drives (Kingston Data Traveller 8/16 GB). Eventually it somehow disabled 4 of the 6 USB ports (those in the back). It took me some tinkering to bring them back to work - had to disable the "USB 3.0 Boost" feature.Having to install 2 different brands of the USB 3.0 controllers (Intel and ASMedia) is somewhat confusing. This is for the 'native' (back of the case) USB 3.0 connectors. I had to re-install both sets twice and then get newer versions for the USB ports to even work properly. Somehow, I think this should not have been this complicated which brings me to the Software portion. When first launched (support DVD) it gives you 2 options: Istall All (which has a host of other programs and apps - many of which I would definitely not want on my build) or Istall each one individually. Problem with the latter is that often I did not know if system finished installing or not (chipset driver took very long to install???). In the end, I had to reboot several times and go back and install the chipset and couple of other drivers individually (install and reboot; install-reboot etc.) This was probably my fault for not being patient during original install but after waiting 6-7 minutes for anything to happen one thinks the chipset driver has been installed? Would it hurt Asus to have a 3rd option on the main manu to install all system drivers/software only?? Like in the couple of older Asus boards I have used (this is my 9th Asus board to date). To me, it is odd that there is so much stuff geared towards overclocking things. I would say nearly 40% of all system configurations with this board are geared towards that goal. I really don't care for overclocking and graphic boost etc. Programs I use "Illustrator/Photoshop/Database/Dreamweaver" need no special overclocking or tinkering. I hoped that a lower-end board would be that and it is just trying to cram too much stuff into a basic board. Not everyone needs to overclock their computer, some people actually do work with them. One is not goting to make a race car out of a family sedan. To sum it up - generally very good piece of hardware but way too convoluted software and just too many difficult to understand options. I will have to think again when purchasing another board if going with Asus product is worth the extra confusion.
