Simple to maneuver inside. High quality parts and craftsmanship. For me the capability to hold an ATX board (see Other Thoughts) That intense blue light on the front. Straightforward to deal with even though.Based on your requirements, size could be an problem. Mine sits inside a bigger Tv cabinet so this is not a dilemma. Have not had an concern with the fan noise but I feel this has a lot to do with your setup and usage. Using this for a “left-more than” HTPC containing the following: 680i moboE65508800gtx4 GB MemoryWin7 64bitWireless cardTelevision Tuner cardTwo 1TB WD HDD'sCase has no dilemma holding these components. The 8800 gtx fits nicely.

Great case, almost everything I was looking for and a lot more in a horizontal case. Fans are quieter than my lousy PSU, so I can't comment on how quiet they are specifically. Constructed high quality is superb. No separate motherboard tray (for a case this expensive it would be good, but it's not a requirement, no eggs lost). This is important although! Check your CPU cooler height! If you're like me and you use a really big passive heatsink (Scythe Ninja two), then it will not match in this case! I can't place the top rated on with this cooler installed. The case is excellent in every single other way, so I'll either modify it or purchase a new cooler. Great make high quality, sturdy as a rock with lots of area for expansion. Airflow is wonderful also. Slightly smaller sized than your typical tower case, so verify the dimensions to make positive your components match!

Wonderful seeking case. Fits my Radeon HD 5850's which are long cards. Lian Li craftsmanship is common, which is to say, wonderful. I was disappointed to uncover that it didn't come with an aluminum CD/DVD faceplate as so numerous other of their circumstances do. Had to buy a single separately from an additional website.

- As talked about ahead of, beautiful fit & finish, lots of area, quiet fans. - The case does not have great airflow, and thus runs fairly hot. I didn't appreciate how poor it was until I moved the MB/CPU from this case to a GMC R-2 Toast (ฤ refurbished!) and temps went down ㅄ degrees. You have to anticipate an HTPC case to be placed in a cabinet with no a lot of clearance, so it need to be designed with a range of ventilation selections. The lack of any vents in the top of the case was a poor design and style selection. - There is around 145mm clearance among the top of the CPU (LGA 1156) and the leading of the case, so most of the greater aftermarket CPU coolers will not fit. A Zalman 9500 fits just right, but the advantage is hindered by the lack of air inflow from the front/sides of the case. An i3-530 with stock cooler idled around 35. An i5-750 with a Zalman 9500 idles about 39. If I get rid of the top rated of the case, temps go down ㅄ degrees. - It may possibly be worth attempting to reverse the airflow from front-to-back to back-to-front.

You must only have to say Lian Li. You get what you pay for. Beautiful finish, simple to operate on the inside, just a well believed out case. Very quiet case fans too so they don't need to have a replacement. Light weight as well as opposed to steel instances. Price tag, but if you have the cash and want a good case for your house theater, this fits that bill.

Right after trying a ๖ case and hours of research this is the media case I would recommend.Plenty of space even for huge video cards. A lot of effectively placed ventilation and quiet fans.DVD / Blu-Ray drives don’t have the flip down door that blocks the eject button when open. The metal might look a little thin, but the case is incredibly sturdy. Had to drill holes to move the rear feat forward 4 inches so that it would fit a normal media hutch. You can use the power LED for a night light, I will add a resistor to dim it.

Great Lian-Li construct qualityIncredibly spaciousWonderful ventilationRuns quietUnbelievable top quality for value Bigger than the images make it look by far! Some screws fiddly and tricky to take away This is a total-sized desktop case...I repeat, this monolith is the size of your old 286 Pc. This is fantastic. Mine has a GTX 295, fitting with no difficulty, and even the ThermalTake 1200 watt power provide crammed in there. It runs super-quiet, even with the 140mm fan at total blast--the grills on the sides are positioned just appropriate for a massive video card and a power supply to pull cool air in, and the 140mm intake fan not only pulls air over tough drives but also blows it straight down the heatsinks of currently's contemporary hot-operating video cards, maintaining the complete thing nicely cool. Lian-Li overdoes it once again (in standard style and high quality) by even including rubber grommets to mount among the difficult drive and the cage to minimize vibration and noise. I upgraded from two Computer-60s to this and I couldn't be happier--it's a fantastic case, even much more so for the cost. It's just...large.

This situation is good for almost anything you want to do...but recall it's most important function must actually be a HTPC. Has space for 3 x 2TB AV Drives and a primary drive (SATA 3), plus blu-Ray burner. The new Clarkdale cpu's are tailor made for HTPC's, None except Blue light. A sharpie dims it down nicely, Nevertheless plenty visiblle but no longer blinds you...lol. May I suggest you buy a LIAN LI PT-FN02 Fan Speed Controller at the similar time you order this case. I utilized one particular of these set on low for the rear two 80mm fans and set the 140mm to be controlled by the mobo. This issue is dead silent, I have to look at the light to see if it is on.

Lots of space insideGreat huntingSomewhat quiet Price tagBlinding blue power LED I installed a Gigabyte Radeon HD 4890 with an Artic-Cooling Twin Turbo Pro cooler attached. Room for this setup was not an concern. The case is deeper than I expected so if you're like me and installing it in an enclosed cabinet, double examine the accessible front-to-rear room. I had to cut a hole in my cabinet to clear the cables in back. The blue energy LED could practically be considered a laser! It's vibrant!

Every thing fits! This is the only HTPC situation I was in a position to uncover that can deal with my GTX285 without mods or removing HDs. The box says it can deal with cards up to 285 mm ྫ.22"). Incredibly good construction, good quality aluminum internals with smooth edges. Looks great on the shelf with my other gear. It's a LIAN-LI. None. Excellent create good qualityIncluded fans are quiet and function properly The power LED connector is a three pin on the situation but it's 2 pin on my MB so I had to move 1 of the pins. The HD carrier can be challenging to get in and out simply because of the included thumb screws sticking out and wires for the front panel run behind it. This is a good HTPC case, specially for the cost. It's a small significant but it offers more space for expansion.

- Wonderful fit & finish. No sharp corners, looks excellent on the shelf- Fans are quiet and move an sufficient amount of air- Lots of room- Rubberized HDD mounts- Handy divided plastic case for further screws - There are no mount posts for the corners of a microATX board on the expansion slot side. Board is secured OK, but the edge with all the SATA, USB and front panel connections overhangs the mounts by about 3 inches. When you plug these in, you have to support the board from underneath or threat bending it. (It looks like there's a hole for at least one particular much more microATX mounting post, but no extras had been provided and the other individuals in the situation could not be moved) It would have been uncomplicated to have (re)movable mount posts for microATX.- No ventilation holes in the top rated of the situation - a vent more than the CPU would aid dissipate heat. - Rubberized mounts for the optical drive like those for the HDD would be good.

Lot's of space, nicely constructed (mostly), looks quite nice, extra long for high finish video cards. Can't adjust some mobo standoffs. The mechanism to retain the 5.25 drives is a small odd and gets stuck when you have the case filled with wires. Scratches quickly. The case should come with 5.25 inch drive covers that let you mask cd/blu ray. I bought mine from elsewhere. These are alot of cons but they are not truly worth substantially. I'm not positive about the cooling potential just but. I'm running a Phenom two x4 overclocked slightly, a radeon 6870, and a seasonic x-750 (overkill, i know)It generally has a single 140 intake, thankfully by the tricky drives. It's been operating much better than my old nmedia case even though.

This is a lovely HTPC case. There's a lot of room inside. The case fans are actually quiet. This is a major case. Make certain you have sufficient room inside your HDTV cabinet. I can not slide the cabinet door close. Simply because it take the entire space. But it nevertheless appear wonderful inside my cabinet. This case have wonderful air circulation. I like that it comes with a three.five inch bracket to use for a internal card reader. I would suggest this case for a HTPC. No LCD display. It would be great if it comes with a Window Media Center remote.

Significant - simply accommodates Intel ATX MBExtremely nice finish4 internal drive bays, two external (with 1 3.five"Ǜ" adapter)Slide-off leading panel - secured by two knurled thumb screwsRubber mounts for drivesSide vents for fans and ventilation - can stack stuff on bestPower provide can be mounted to draw in only outside air Power LED connector not suitable for Intel MB - uncomplicated to modifyPoor documentation for front panel audio connections to MBExternal drive blanks vibrate against the front panelFans are quiet, but not silent This is a really high high quality case, with no sharp edges inside. The reinforcing bar that runs horizontally across the case is quickly removed for MB installation. Lots of spare screws and even a little plastic case to shop them in. Can be rack mounted, and consists of two handles that can be mounted on the front sides of the case. The drive bays are easily removed without a screwdriver. Quickly accommodates tall CPU cooling units. I applied a sheet of soundproofing foam created for Computer use to the front of the prime lid - some improvement in the currently low sound level. This case would genuinely blend in properly with black residence theater gear, but it's also a wonderful desktop unit.

Big, open, lots of area inside, quiet, typical Lian-Li good quality! None so far for me I recently decided to create a new Computer for my FlexRadio Systems 5000A Software program Defined Radio, and knew I wanted an additional Lian-Li case. I've been using these circumstances for more than 10 years now, and I genuinely appreciate all the nice small touches like smooth edges, plastic grommet strips on other exposed edges, and the solid, nicely-created appear and feel these situations have. Additional hardware is provided, and I had the new Computer built and running in about an hour. It looks just excellent in my radio area!My wife even recommended I get one more 1 to put the components of my Audio/Video editing machine into so we could mount it in our household theater rack!I suppose the only "shortcoming" could be that the hard drive cage "only" holds 3 drives, but drives are so big nowadays that even in a DVR/PVR program I don't believe it's an problem any longer.

Completely Lovely, somewhat spacious, surprisingly quiet, cool temps, and on sale. Quite high excellent case! It took me a day of mods, losing 2 pci slots, purchasing a rare 4 pin cpu fan ext, and longer screws to get a Corsair H50 liquid cooler to work in here and I nonetheless can't get the door to close all of the way now. Nearly there and going to try a couple of a lot more tweaks Stick to air cooling and this is a fantastic case! Newegg is excellent as usual. was only packed in the original box but properly protected. I received the Rev 2 version with two accent lines in front. All deemed nevertheless extremely satisfied
