Standard Lian Li construct quality (which is a good factor), smaller, light weight, 7x 3.five" drive bays. (In addition to the other bays.) Uses regular PSU. Yeah, the aluminum does scratch. The blue disco fans (minor con.)The white 1 dropped บ in price just soon after we purchased this a single, and frankly, cost mattered additional to us than colour. We necessary a smallish box to send about the country. Moving two-8TB in time-sensitive information ain't constantly simple. We wanted small, light, and however a LOT of bays. This case fits the bill almost perfectly. The p180 mini seemed best since it's roughly the similar size and specs, but the fact that this case is less than half ƙ vs 20 lbs) the weight of the p180 mini sold us on this a single. The blue lighted fans don't precisely scream "professional" but if I really cared, I'd replace them. I suppose it's a very good way to tell if the fan is truly on.Seriously, with 7 (or eight using the five.25" bay) big SATA drives, and maybe an SSD or two for cache, this can make a amazing NAS box.

- Little size, match into the cabinet it necessary to with no troubles.- Clean look (once it's place with each other)- Decent airflow by means of the case- Fan speed controller integrated - Need to pull off each side panels and eliminate ODD carrier to mount an optical drive in the case.- Cables from fans on the front of the case are barely extended sufficient to reach the fan controller mounted on the back of the case.- Blue, I mean BLUE, LED fans on the front of the case - I guess I know when it's turned on.- Design appears wider than it really should be. General, I like the case, it's reasonably modest and the all round quality is great. I was expecting it to be pretty tight provided the size and it was, but I can't seriously complain; nonetheless, some of the details are just a discomfort to deal with, and what took it to three eggs for me.

Extremely higher develop excellent, I am only amazed. If you want mATX, get this case! Scratches quickly. I replaced all fans with Noctua.1x NF-P14 FLX 140mm Situation Fan for the best and 3x NF-P12-1300 120mm Case Fans for the front intakes and rear exhaust.Greatest CPU cooler that fits in this case is the Noctua NH-U9B SE2 92mm CPU Cooler.

The make high quality of the case is outstanding and it looks great. All the tiny extras are wonderful, specially the toolless front fans! The PSU Placement is awful. I don't like getting to get rid of the PSU to get to my motherboard. The motherboard is mounted to a side panel, it's cool at first and helps to conserve space but it is inconvenient and doesn't let for several inventive wire routing alternatives. The case fits a 480 with no problems and I have a H50 mounted on the front bottom fan.

Make Top quality and appearance (brushed aluminum)-Accommodates GTX-580 VGA (a very substantial card)-Accommodates full size PSU-2.five" SSD mounts (to bottom of case away from anything)-Plenty room in drive cage(s) for a micro-ATX case-Incredibly quiet (depends on elements but case fans are quiet)-USB three. on front panel (backward compatible)-Integrated card reader-Fantastic ventilation Quickly scratches, as talked about in another evaluation the eight panel screws scratch effortlessly and it appears there could have been a far better answer to hold the side panels on. Not simple to pull the panels and the screws won't hold up (paint) for extended. High finish case for a micro make. In my case (pun intended) a high end micro build that contains an Asus P8P67-M motherboard, Intel i7 2600K CPU, EVGA GTX-580, Corsair HX-750W PSU, Intel 510 SSD, . All fits nicely with plenty space to spare for more HDD's and SSD drive. The price tag reflects the intended industry. Really qualified look and all aluminum so it acts as a single significant heat sink. The LED fans are subtle and don't bother me but it's individual preference. Minor disappointments talked about in "cons" but overall very satisfied and would advise. All elements purchased from Newegg as they continue to earn my business right after all these years and all those builds. I've learned not to stray...

A single user rated it two star based on case width, but by searching at the back of the situation I don't see exactly where it can be made smaller. Mounting MB, leading of card slots and then power supply beside that (remember this is side mounted MB) doesn't leave a lot space for cutting it down. I assume they may want to revise their thinking. Plus this child takes typical PS, so require some clearance from prime of cards or enhance of fan noise in PS (PC Power and cooling elevated space offset into their PS's for quieting of PS fans) . What's not to like. go to Lian Li's site for complete information. Newegg is my supplier of alternative for most elements and I have been a client for over ten years. I consider I may use this one particular in my subsequent create. Want one thing smaller than tower, but enough space for airflow and full size cards. Not to mention USB 3. (super rapidly=already have for my kitchen Computer and add-on for my laptop) One particular reviewer on silver situation mentioned that usb connector was weird, but its for 3. not 2. so spec is unique, but still compatible with 2. devices. Wish Newegg had a way of obtaining rid of evaluations that didn't supply a way of helping the parts seeker in their quest, but it does permit for us to say if we discovered it helpful. Don't forget to look to see if a overview was appreciated by other people. Even a low egg rating can be appreciated if it has substance. Also I wish case producers would make the front mount I/O's modular/replaceable given that a good modular form factor would allow for us to future proof our good instances and be able to update or adjust based on preference or MB skills.

A bit wider than your typical case but brief profile signifies it appears extremely compact.Plenty of areas to put fans.Did a excellent job of arranging components offered the minimal space constraints (so many SSF circumstances can't hold 4 hard drives and a DVD drive). Blue LED fans are gaudy on such an otherwise subdued case.Tiny, tiny screws and not-so-modular DVD drive cage indicates you don't want to be swapping internal components.Fan speed adjustment knob rubs side of the cutout hole.Ought to contain some rubber pads to act as vibration absorbing spacers amongst the tough drive cages.USB3 cables are seriously thick, which makes them challenging to fold up and out of the way when using internal USB2 header. Most costly case I've bought so far, but I'm pleased. Did a few mods to the case for the duration of setup that helped make this a wonderful 4 tough drive NAS box. Replaced the LED fans with fluid bearing low RPM 񡼰 rpm) fans and bought some 3 pin cable extensions so they'd reach all the way to the speed control at the rear. I drilled a few holes in the top rated, got some fender washers for the inside surface, and added some high excellent, straight metal rod-like drawer handles that mean I can move it without having leaving fingerprints.I have a non-modular Corsair 430 Watt PSU and no video cards, but I had no issues with making use of both tough drive cages. Installation took a little patience but the PSU bracket and PSU slid in from the back just fine. I have 4 challenging drives installed with an empty slot in-in between every single drive.

Cons: None . . . . well minor one . . . . you have to remove 8 screws per side panel to remove the side panels, but once you have built your computer how often do you need to remove the side panels

Pros: Light, well ventilated, Lian Li quality, lots of room for hard drives, 3 built-in case fans. Hard Drive antivibration mounting system
Comment:
Fabulous case for building a system with a MicroATX motherboard. as usual with Lian-Li everything is extremely well thought out with plant of room for hard drives. I have built many computers using different cases, but have built 3 computers for friend and relatives using Lian-Li cases (no two with the same case model) and absolutely love them. This is the first one I have built for myself with a Lian-Li case. This would be the brand I would recommend above all others and I also have a watercooled system built using a high end Silverstone Temjin TJ07 case. Buy Lian-Li - you won't go wrong . . . man I'm sounding like a fanboy :)

- Light- Compact- Good airflow- Built-in SD card reader- Built-in fan controller- Rather quiet- Looks very good- High capacity for size - Fingerprint magnet, big time and quite challenging to clean- Blue power light is super-vibrant- Case scratches incredibly quickly, so are the tiny black screws (spares had been of wrong color)- Second (larger/lower) internal drive case is borderline worthless, since it will jam against even a modular power supply- Each sides (including the 1 holding the motherboard) do not have any hooks or hinges to hold them in pace - 8 tiny screws hold floating panels, which is super-awkward to deal with- two.5” drives cannot be mounted beneath CD/DVD as per documentation, even so there are other not documented mounts; appears like Lian Li site and docs are outdated- Front fans are rather loud for 120mm; I had to make a rubber shim to quit the front panel from rattling- Internal connection for front USB 3 ports is an awful contraption of super-thick cables that take a lot of space- External plastic CD cover is bulky and it opens/shuts really loudly;I had to add two tiny rubber bumpers Lots of cons, but it is not a poor case – craftsmanship is above typical and the size is reasonable if a bit too wide. It took an above-common effort to put the new Pc together mainly because all fans had to be removed and rearranged to fix rattles and right the quite poor out-of-the-box orientation of fan cables. It is a extremely superior case, if you don’t open instances generally and if you don’t plan to have additional than three internal 3.five” drives.

Cons: small screws on side panels, stock fans a little loud

Pros: Sleek look, great cooling, easy install, 5 PCI slots.
Comment:
The only negative I have on this case is that each side panel requires 8 small screws (16 total) and they strip easily. I contacted Lian Li and they sent out free screws so the support is great. I have a Sandy Bridge system installed here with a GTX 460 card and it works great. Pretty good stock fans, but I have replaced them all to make the system quieter. I love this case, it is my new favorite mATX case. Great for portable gaming rig or HTPC.

Excellent Case. Looks fantastic. Fits every thing I need to have. The blue fans look good and circulate air nicely. I haven't had any overheating troubles. There is also a fan dial on the back which controls the levels of up to four fans.Blue is a very good color considering that a lot of peripherals also use blue leds. For example my mobo cpu lights are blue and my usb dongle has a blinking blue led. I think the fewer colors of LEDs is practically universally better. The two front USB ports are three. but my mobo doesn't have an input for this. Luckily the case comes with an adapter. Even so, if your mobo does have a usb three. connector than you could nonetheless hook up the adapter to the mobo and you would get two internal usb two. ports. This could come in handy for a bluetooth dongle assuming bt can transmit via the aluminum case. I am worried the brushed aluminum will get scratched. I have been super careful but I think any metal to metal contact would leave marks. The two USB ports on the front are a bit close and are the best 1 is too close to the audio port. This is a problem when working with usb sticks that protrude to the sides. You have to take away the two three.five HD bays to get rid of the five.25 external port.Be careful when choosing your external five.25 media drive. I got a stock black asus model and the painted plastic stands out from the brushed aluminum. Ideally you would want a drive where the front had a brushed black paint job.I haven't discovered an easy way to turn off the LED fan lighting which some men and women could find bothersome when attempting to sleep. While unless searching directly at the front of the case, the light would not be disturbing adequate to disrupt sleep. I utilized this case in my 1st develop. I did a substantial amount of investigation to find a case that was not too large but could accommodate a hefty computational workhorse. I also demanded a case that looked sleek and expert as opposed to a WoW machine with anime warrior stickers. My build:MSI 890GXM-G65 AM3 AMD 890GX HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3. I don't have a location under my desk for a tower, so I was seeking for a decent smaller case that could go on my desktop, with front-mounted ports, and room for a full size graphics card. These are surprisingly difficult to come by.This is my second Lian Li case. The good quality, fit and finish are excellent as usually. USB 3. ports give some future proofing. The card reader and fan controller add value. The case seems to have decent airflow and keeps temperatures reasonable without having getting noisy. As far as everyone has been in a position to figure out, an H50 cooler can only be employed with the lower front fan, which is really a stretch. It's unfortunate due to the fact that is such a common cooler - you assume a new case would be designed to accommodate it simply. The H70 won't fit. The 120mm Noctua U12P won't fit (interferes with PSU). I am making use of the 92mm Noctua U9B and it fits, with one or two fans. Note that all of this will depend somewhat on your motherboard and the placement of the CPU socket. So check the forums and see what other men and women are carrying out.The cables for the front fans and the front audio connectors are just long sufficient to reach the fan header and the motherboard audio connection. There is no leeway for creative wiring. Given that this isn't a side-window case and no one will truly see the wiring, this didn't bother me too considerably. I didn't see it in the spec sheet, but there are accommodations for three two.five" drives: 1 on the bottom of the upper drive cage, and 2 on the floor of the case. I only required 1 and I employed the drive cage 1; with the ones on the floor I envision it would be tricky bending the cables in there. There is room to route cables behind the motherboard, but it is tough to do so in practice since the motherboard mounts directly to the side panel. You would require a lot of slack in the cables. It seemed like too much trouble for me.

Cons: The side panel requires you to unscrew all the screws on the side of the panel in order to take it off. No big deal but it's just a hassle to have to take care of so many screws to take off a side panel as oppose to traditional cases.

Pros: Great case. Very nice durable finish. Is able to fit high-end parts to build a fairly beastly gaming computer. Cooling is also good.

Cons: none (Well, blue LED if you dont like led). Front USB cabling could be better, but still not that bad.

Pros: Beautiful case. Well made, extremely light. All edges are rounded.HDD racks are excellent. PSU selection is well thought out aswell
Comment:
Excellent case for the anyone. I am using for a WHS with 6 -2TB WD HDDs. Small, compact, light, well made, fit and finish is very high quality. Blue led can be too much if you dont like lights. All in all, very happy with the case. You could even put a ATX mobo in here, but there is only 4 expansion slots (u would have to mod a bit....but its doable). I can pick up my 12TB case and go anywhere....crazy!
