Cons: high voltage

Pros: Very stable and fast.
Comment:
I often used patriot ram in builds and never have problems with them as long as the motherboard supports higher voltage ajustments.Usually you get these to work at 4-4-4-12 timings at 2.1 volts but you need more if you want 1T timing.

Cons: Does not overclock well. With 4 Dimms I could not get it to work at 4-4-4-12 timings at all. Runs rather hot.

Pros: Was inexpensive.

Does not overclock well. With 4 Dimms I could not get it to work at 4-4-4-12 timings at all. Runs rather hot, but was inexpensive. I can get it upto DDR2-960 with 5-5-5-12 timings at 2.15V. The rebate worked.

Cons: A little pricey without rebate

Pros: Does its jobs
Comment:
Bought this for my father's old Dell duo score as an upgrade. He only had 1GB of RAM previously and was complaining it was running slow so I upgraded for him. Plugged it in and XP recognixed the 3GB (since its not a 64 bit OS. All in all improved the speed but I wish DDR2 would come down a little more in price without the rebate

Cons: Heat sink are a bit bulky

Pros: Easy install, good heat sink, great speeds, good price, EPP capable
Comment:
Not much i could list as a weakness for these they have outperformed my previous ram and are 100% stable. i am getting so much better performance. They fit well and worked well with my other ram and have yet to give me an issues. The heat sinks while a little heavy but are nice and do a fair job.

Cons: Add to adjust voltage in BIOS (no biggie!)

Pros: CheapGood - Works fine!
Comment:
4 GB RAM at this price, hell yeahhhhhh! It's working fine, stable. As I thought, you must have a 64 bit OS or it will only show 3.5GB. You have to adjust voltage to gain 4-4-4-12 but it's no biggie.Cheap, good, well built, works fine at 4-4-4-12 and have heat spreaders! A must!!!

Got these for a net build. It is nice that Vista 64 recognizes all 4 gb. The price dropped from 100$ when I bought them 7 weeks ago to 81$ now grrr... good ram though

Cons: fairly high voltage ... like some others said some boards won't support it

Pros: good stock timings and price
Comment:
Over all price point this is a great set ... no problems at all right out of the package ... most mobo's have default volt much lower than 2.2 tbh 2.2 setting is probably in the warning zone on most mobo's ... EVEN at 5.5.5.x this stuff performs great so no worries there ...

Cons: High voltage and incompatibility issues

Pros: 4GB for this price, can`t get much better
Comment:
Great budget sticks.I got this for a gaming build and it is has worked wonders. I did have compatibility problems with my mobo (P5Q Pro), but a BIOS update  seemed to solve all my problems. My mother board automatically set the timing to 5-5-5-12 and only 1.8V. I don`t really want to run it at 2.2V so I just left it.I would definitely buy these again. Patriot has great customer service and lifetime warranty.

Cons: high stock voltage (2.2V)

Pros: low latancies at low costdecent headspreaderslifetime warranty
Comment:
Used this for a client build. No problems yet. It's one of the cheapest low-latency kits. The heatspreaders look solid although they're a bit ugly, but the spec'd voltage of 2.2v is a bit high. Not all boards will even support that.

Cons: Mail-in rebate practices are aggressive and anti-consumer.

Pros: Works, feels well built
Comment:
I went to fill out the mail-in rebate form and found out that it must be post-marked within 21 days of purchase, not delivery. I was just a few days after that mark and pissed because not only do I dislike rebates to begin with because of the hoops they make you jump through, but 21 days feels like an unreasonably short time frame.

Pros: Excellent TimingGood Price
Comment:
This really looks like great memory, unfortunately I had to RMA it twice and I ended up buying some Mushkin instead. I know I've only been really unlucky, I've ran on the single working stick for a few days and it had decent performance considering I was running in Single Channel.

Cons: Doesn't seem to overclock well.

Pros: Cheap, stable, fast.
Comment:
Very cheap and fast at stock timings and I'm actually only running it at 2.0v instead of 2.2v and it's perfectly stable so runs relatively cool compared to my old ram. Only downside is even at 2.2v I can overclock it by even a little bit but since the default speeds are about what I was aiming for anyway thats a minor complaint. Overall much much better than my old 2gb OCZ set that I had to overclock to get to ddr800 speeds.

Cons: Voltage required for high speed and low timingsNow I required Vista 64, but, is that really a bad thing...?

Pros: FAST!LOW LATENCYPRICE
Comment:
I love this stuff. It was the cheapest 4 GB kit I could find (after MIR) that had good speed with good timings. Even better, it worked perfectly with two other 1 GB sticks that my brother had in his computer.

Got 2 sets of this(8gigs) for Vista x64 and so far it works great. 2.2 volts 4,4,4,10(they spec 12) timings d 800. They can get a bit warm, but not any hotter then other memory of the same specs. 4 sticks work fine on a gigabyte P35 DS3R board.

Pros: Heat spreaders, low latency high , low price, works at 1.95 volts even though rated for 2.2
Comment:
I bought this ram without first noticing it was rated to run at 2.2v so I was a little worried since my motherboard can only run at 1.95v Well to my delight the ram works perfectly at 1.95v completely stable although the latency goes up to 5-5-5-12. I intend to buy another 4 soon just to top off my mother board.

Great buy for the price. Excellent timings, works at 4, 4, 4, 4, 12 at stock speeds on my Asus P5K-E. Board would not boot with this ram the first time and had to re-seat the ram for it to work. Would recommend this to anybody.

Got this set running at 5-5-5-15 as i was unable to get it stable on 4-4-4-12 on my eVGA 750i mobo + E8400 OC'ed q 3.9 ghz, but for the price i paid (100 after MIR), i have no complaints, a great set of memory

Pros: Good timings, good look and good price
Comment:
This RAM is super stable and overclock well on timings like 5-5-5-15 but at the rated 4-4-4-12 it overclock only by a couple MHz. I would buy again this was the cheapest RAM when I bought but it still kick ass.

Pros: - Cheap- Low timings
Comment:
This RAM cost me less than $100 (after mail in rebate). For 4GB of 4-4-4-12, DDR2-800, that's not bad. Not being an overclocker, I can't really comment on it's performance in that area, but the machine performs MUCH better than with my previous 4GB of RAM, so all in all, I'm pleased with the product.

Running this in a MSI P35 Platinum with an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450, overclocked to a FSB of 375 (3.00GHZ) and the memory is staying right along with it, not faults. Very pleased! This review was modfied by poster @ 04-16-08 08:52 PM

Runs at 375 MHz, 4-4-4-12 timings, 2.2 V in my GA-P35-DS3L, no problem. Rock solid. Due to bad design of the BIOS on the DS3L I accidentally booted this memory at 600 MHz. And incredibly, it ran fine (at higher timings, 5-5-5-something). Can't go wrong with this memory.
