Cons: Heavy

Pros: Backlighting
Comment:
I've had this for a least a couple of years and it still works great. The blue leds have faded a bit so I have moved on to the red. The one problem I have had is that the wires in the cord broke where it goes into the case and I had to take it apart and reattach them. But that is because I use the keyboard in bed all the time so it is constantly being moved around which puts stress on that point. Would never happen in a normal keyboard environment. If this was just a little lighter it would be perfect.

I previously owned this keyboard for a little while till I switched over to a mechanical one. I gave this to my friend and can see he was very happy as was I with it. It was one of the best membrane keyboards I have tried out and would highly recommend it to everyone.

Pros: Awesome keyboard. This is the first time I have swayed away from Logitech for gaming and I am not disappointed at all. Lighting is very nice and bright. I came form the G15 and found the lighting there was getting very dim so a nice change. Key are easy to type with and quiet.

I would recommend this to a friend.

Cons: stiff wire won't lay flatno usb ports

Pros: back-lit keys with 3 color schemes typing is near silent good palm rest adds comfortexudes quality look and feel
Comment:
Got this on sale after researching back-lit keyboards and I'm quite pleased with this one. This exceeded my expectations for the price from it's weight, good looks and the overall feel to it. The lighting isn't too overpowering and looks great with red, blue and a purple that looks more like violet. The only thing I didn't like much was the stiff wire won't lay flat on my desk but not too big a deal.Overall this is a great keyboard.i

Cons: -Spacebar doesn't register keystrokes half the time

Pros: -Looks good
Comment:
Not a bad keyboard, assuming you hit the spacebar dead center. I tend to hit the spacebar in the right corner, and this keyboard did not resister spaces just as often as it did. This made the keyboard completely unusable for me and I returned it. If you Google "Saitek Eclipse II spacebar" you'll see that this isn't an isolated issue, and the resolution is either to take the keyboard apart and fix it yourself (which I wasn't going to do on a $80 keyboard), or to contact Saitek and get a replacement spacebar, which I wasn't going to wait for. Again, it's a nice keyboard assuming it suits your typing style.

Cons: Intensity and LED color choice do not save on restarts, turn off and ons, or waking from sleep (or at least I dont know how to make it stick). Also, a patch of gloss came off some how, around the arrow keys.

Pros: Sleek, nice looks, and not only are the LED colors adjustable (blue, red purple) but the intensity are adjustable and you ahve the option of turing off the LED completely. Also very comfortable, even with no padding on the wrist rest. Adjustable to flat or angled as well.
Comment:
Overall, great keyboard with just a few hiccups that I can think of. They are as following: LED color and intensity always reset and keyboard typing noise is somewhat of the average keyboard noise.

Bought this eclipse 2 keyboard for my gamer son along with coolermastr sentinal dual laser gamer mouse ,fatality headset and steel series mouse pad .The coloured back lit keyboard looks great , especially with the laser mouse colors and the keyboard side led, really somthing at night. but the real happiness is feeling the keys and listening to how quiet this keyboard is.Not a highly feature equipped gaming board ,it has no usb plug ins or programable keys , but it does excell as a keyboard for both gaming AND regular computer tsks such as homework ,lol This review was modfied by poster e 04-05-10 09:46 PM This review was modfied by poster r 04-05-10 09:36 PM This review was modfied by poster @ 04-05-10 09:20 PM

Cons: The wrist rest latch seems to be very fragile when taking off and could possibly snap off the wrong way. Other than that, there isn't anything about this keyboard that annoys me. Saitek has got it right and look forward to seeing their next product offerings.

Pros: I initially purchased this keyboard as more of a novelty keyboard and realized how great it was doing everyday stuff. Compared to other illuminated keyboards, this one is very durable and heavy and should last the best keyboard pounders. The multiple color selection and illumination levels allows you to adjust when needed or completely turn off or dim when required.
Comment:
This keyboard is great for both hardcore gamers and casual computer users. The quality of the keyboard is great and would recommend this to anyone.

Comment:
Outstanding Keyboard. The key-pressing is very quiet, it feels like the material used to make it is very good, and the size of the keyboard is really good!I would also like to comment about the comforting wrist-rest with its multimedia keys.Altogether, it has a sleek design with the good ol' orginal keyboard feel with various back-lighting colours.

Cons: Could use ergonomic curving..very straight key layout. Some may prefer the ergonomic "wave" designs for long term typing.

Pros: Nice colour optionsGood price/value (when on sale)Comfy key travel
Comment:
I was looking for a simple keyboard with backlighting for some late night gaming and this one fits the bill. It's nothing too amazing, no macros or fancy lcd screens but it does what it says on the box. It's a solid keyboard with 3 backlighting colours (all are nice and bright). Unfortunately the num pad on the side is a little less brightly/evenly lit.

Cons: Illumination not even on all keys. This affect the border keys like Back Space and Num Lock

Pros: Blue, red, purple backlight for late night gamers / programmers
Comment:
I really love using this keyboard, especially at night. At first the font of the keys seems strange. Keys are really soft but with a little clicking sound wich is good. Numlock, Caps locks and Scroll LED stay blue when changing color. Fine for me since I let it blue like my samsung scrren led and my Antec 900 gaming case.

Cons: Not ergonomic? Standard keyboard layout ... not really a weakness for many users, I'd prefer a little curve though.

Pros: Quiet keys and durable. Light still goes strong after more than a year. Has been a great night keyboard, red colour easy on the eyes in the dark.
Comment:
Great buy, strong construction, it works as advertised. Even has a dimmer switch if you want to turn down the lighting.

Cons: -sometimes keys seem to be stuck (even when they are not physically down), for instance if you are checking the score with tab then you release tab the scoreboard will continue showing until you hit it again.-I use ctrl+c, ctrl+v a lot, sometimes I end up just typing c or v (ctrl seems to need a bit more pressure than the other keys)

Pros: -backlight-keys are really nice (easy to push down, not too loud)-detachable wrist wrest-two levels of elevation instead of the standard one level.
Comment:
I still like the keyboard on my laptop much better, but its not really possible to take that off and use it with my desktop, so this is a good substitute. This review was modfied by poster @ 12-14-08 05:31 PM

Pros: -Good feeling, comfortable-Keys are not noisy
Comment:
I just received this keyboard and i really like it. I've been playing games for about 2-3h and i find it really comfortable, fits my hands well lol. The only thing is, like i said, the colours are not even everywhere on the keyboard; some parts are brighter than others, but it's not a big downside.
