Fairly straight forward. Simple Connection - worked with no difficulties. None worth mentioning. See other thoughts. A bit stiff when attaching to the MB. Plug your power supply into the adapter just before you plug the adapter into your motherboard. Gently rock the Motherboard side into the energy connector. If you push straight down you're going to have to push hard.

Lets you plug a 20-pin energy provide to a 24-pin motherboard. Does not perform with some motherboards (in my case). Beware when obtaining this, you may possibly be much better off purchasing a 24-pin (or 20ቴ-pin) power supply.

Eliminated the need to get a seperate PSU Extends the length of the principal connection cables and they sort of get in the way of the other wires operating by way of my case, but other than that, not a lot of a problem Highly recommended for individuals that don't want to buy a seperate PSU for motherboard compatibility!

Cheap, fast shipping.. newegg rocks as usual. Did not perform with my POWMAX 500w PS. Method would not boot with it. PS has a 25A 12v rail so I doubt it lacks the energy. RMA would not be economic with something like this. I had another power supply handy, a 460w with a 19a 12v rail, and it operates, so I know it's not my other PS(which has far more power)'s fault.

It works. If there is cons for an adapter they should get out of the business. I didn't upgrade PSU but will be shortly. So i won't need to have this anymore.

WE HAVE Energy!! two Second set up! Not a con but I was careless and ordered the incorrect one particular and with time spent ordering this one particular and then finding the new one, my computer was down for over a week! So a component that expenses three dollars and seventy five cents plus shipping ended up costing me around fourteen bucks for a plug and a deduction for restocking charges but it was my personal fault Check the pin configurations cautiously!

Coverts 20pin psu to match 24pin boards. none its 2 clips and a bunch of wires. be confident your gettin this for a 24pin board 20 pin psu. not the other way around.

Performs. Not a low good quality item. It's type of extended.. I ended up not even needing it, bought it for my 550W but my 300W ended up getting adequate. So I entirely wasted my funds :)

It does what it's supposed to do. Difficult to hide, would like it superior if it did not have visible wires. If you have a excellent 20 pin power supply and require to energy a newer 24 pin board, this will perform.
