Does what it states it's intended purpose is intended for stating it's purpose.........er......it performs. Nada I necessary this for a dell computer system that uses low-cost psu's with only the exact amount of connectors needed for their stuff. I had to test some back up photos and needed this to provide energy to an additional really hard drive and it worked fine. |

Does what it's supposed to do. Free of charge with HD, free shipping as effectively. None that i can believe of. Just picked it up in a combo with my HD. very good point too due to the fact i ended up needing it. Excellent get. No such issue as getting as well many "useless" spare parts :) |

Powers up to 2 SATA Internal devices from 1 Molex connector. Have bought 4 of these, and not a undesirable 1 yet. Value is a bit steep, but cost-free shipping helps. Cables could be a bit longer. If you plan on working with this in a mid-tower (or bigger) to energy an optical drive near the best and a Hard drive close to the bottom, program on getting 2. I want Molex would just go away currently. We have these particularly higher-tech computer systems powered by this big ugly connector from the 80's. I'm not trying to connect a 50MB hard drive from an old 286 to my brand new rig, but IF I wanted to, I would rather get a converter for THAT. Any Power supply built in the final 4 years really should have mainly SATA connections for drives. Am I the only a single who thinks this? |

Merely place, it works. lol Really hard to go incorrect on a couple inches of cable with some plastic. xD I've had this converter connected to two 7200 rpm challenging drives (one 500 a single 750) and they run like they should |

you get what you see, it works. i purchased these with other items, so the shipping price was minimal. but I noticed that if you get these alone, the shipping price seems kinda high. pins like to bend some instances, w/e just get a flat head. |

Adds 4 sata connections to current hardware The operate required to get your method up and running If you adore plug and play then this card is not for you. I was attempting to connect three 1TB drives to my configuration. You must update the BIOS if you want to succeed. I built my computer system to have such archaic devices such as a floppy drive (just in case), and did i ever need to have it. Following obtaining the correct bios, developing DOS boot disks, and a lot of other stuff, I was able to get items functioning. But as i stated just before, if you enjoy plug and play, pay the income to have all of this performed for you. |

It performs.It will by no means learn to speak or ask you for cash. Order it along with other stuff or the shipping will make you choke. It turned out I didn't need to have this right after all, but I plugged it in and tested it just for this assessment, and by extension, YOU. Yes, you. And it worked, so there ya go. Now into the tray of random adaptors it goes to await some future emergency.I like turtles. |
