Cons: Could be bigger. Have to backup due to SSD reliability.

Pros: Fast. Fast. Very fast
Comment:
Been buying/building computers for the 15 years, this is the single best upgrade I have made for everyday performance. And from everywhere I've read this drive seems to be very reliable.Windows loads in 12 seconds. Photoshop in 4 seconds. Doing development I'm running a browser with 40 tabs open, 2 virtual machines running servers, Photoshop, code editors and more and no slow down. Everything opens virtually instantly and it's a joy to use the computer.Downsides:Size. I should probably have gone 240. I have 47 gigs left after Windows and my basic software. Keep my media on external drives. Seems like enough for now but would like a bit more.Reliability. If you go SSD, you HAVE to backup. It's probably a smart thing to do with any drive, but from everywhere I've read all SSD's will fail within a few years. I'm hoping not this generation but I'm not taking my chances.

Picked it up for $140 after MIR, which I received in the mail in just over a month. Very fast SSD, no problems so far. Highly recommended.

Cons: -lack of 3.5in adaptor-MIR is a pain

Pros: -Vertex 3 like performance-SLC flash
Comment:
First patriot product, I am very pleased with the performance. Clearly a lot faster than my first gen vertex LE with sandforce. Though with ssd prices falling, the pricepoint of this has to fall too.

Cons: Nothing to add

Pros: Reliable (so far), Very fast, Windows 7 boots up very quickly, reading and writing rate is not comparable with rate on normal hard disk (HDD), no glitch so far
Comment:
I bought it on sale for 139.9 ($40 MIR). After one month working, I am happy for this purchase. Booting up the windows 7 is considerably faster than using normal hard drive. Writing and reading files are notably faster than using hard drive. If the price drops, I will buy a SDD with higher capacity (240 GB). 120Bg capacity is low for professional work. I have to install my crucial programs on the SSD the others on hard drive. However, If I have higher capacity, it will be installed all on one SSD. I have a plan to replace my laptop hard drive with this product. This review was modfied by poster @ 03-23-12 11:58 AM

Picked this unit up on a slick deal.Glad I did. First experience with having an SSD for the OS and primary applications and notice the difference. Without a doubt worth picking up.

Cons: -price, but not just of this guy-all SSD in general

Pros: +wicked fast
Comment:
bought this after New Year's on sale. for the price paid (150$ after MIR and NCIX's IR) and the extremely favourable reviews it seemed like a steal. can't say i'm disappointed in the least-this thing is awesome. perfect size for an OS and as many games and applications as desired, assuming you employ a storage HD.

Cons: None so far.

Pros: Speed. Speed. And more speed.

I've owned this for about ten days now and I've had experience with both a 60GB OCZ Vertex 2 Extended drive and an Intel Series 320 120gb model. I did quite a bit of research online and _all_ of the reviews I was reading about this drive were extremely positive. I've always had good luck with Patriot products (RAM, SD Cards, and now an SSD). I'm using this in an i7 ASUS laptop (replaced the 750GB internal drive with this) and the boot time from POST to Win7 is under 6.5 seconds (the Intel SSD took about 14 seconds by comparison but was only running SATA2).The thing flies and seems very stable. Time will tell, however, but I do know that Patriot does release quality products.
