Really fantastic worth, and it runs well in the method. Original memory stick showed errors in a memory diagnostic, and had to be returned for replacement. The replacement works fine, even though. Always run a stand-alone memory diagnostic immediately after installing any new memory. It doesn't matter who makes the memory, you won't seriously know if it's OK or not till you do this. You can locate a stand-alone memory diagnostic on the Microsoft net web site, just go there and search for "memory diagnostic". |

I have 3 gigs, soon to be four. I really like it, its the appropriate stuff at the appropriate cost if you know what you will need. I don't game but if you run linux with a number of applications you will really like this RAM. All in All a great by for much less the 70 bucks. Can't thing of any, they installed ideal and have not burnt out on me however. |

I have a single of this memory rams set up in my personal computer and its has perform fine for nearly two years. Patriot makes high quality rams. None. It's a good memory, only want two would have perform in my old motherboard. Employing two Memory Rams did not function for me with my old motherboard Acorp 4PM800MNL model. I had a terrible expertise, lots of crashes to boot. I even tried a couple of work around but all failed. :( |

The price for a giga of ram, Can function with amd's hyper transport no heatsinks. For 10 bucks additional i would like it to come with heatsinks..oh properly i guess i will buy my own. Fantastic rams i am running this with my DFI CFX 3200df crossfire mother board and with a 440064 x2 with no challenges at CMT of 1 and timing of two.five got her to 1k + to HT with out attempting gonna get some heatsinks and see what she'll do |

Just fantastic simple memory that dropped suitable in and also was compatible with one more stick from corsair. This has breathed a small a lot more life into my older (Prescott) technique which runs great, but isn't really up for some of today's far more resource intensive games. So far no problems and not expecting any as Patriot tends to make trusted memory, and I was far more interested in that than speed. If speed was the major motivation I'd be creating a new system. Only one particular is that they dropped the value since I bought it. :) Fantastic standard memory to extend the life of an older system that's only real fault is it can't retain up with the newest games. Forty bucks to extend the usefulness of my Computer was money properly spent. Can't take advantage of much better pricing on DDR2Ǚ memory without having spending hundreds in upgrading MB, Processor, & Video card. |

Wasn't positive if it was going to operate in my older Dell Dimension 2400 (pentium four) but it did! Removed the original 512MB stick and replaced it with 2x1GB sticks. Runs much faster, toggle involving programs is seemless! No additional waiting! Had to purchase it at Fries due to the fact I necessary it Right NOW and there was a rebate on this model...would've bought from Newegg if I could've waited but possibly wouldn't have purchased Patriot since it's not the least expensive on the site. When in doubt, stick with brand name memory and study user testimonials! |

This RAM is fantastic, it genuinely sped up my old Socket 754 Pc operating Vista Basic. It has 1.5GB in it now and Vista is smooth. The value in comparison to DDR2. Newegg had been outstanding, shipped the very same day as ordered!UPS on the other hand, seem to leave my home to the final.. each and every time, so it constantly comes in the early evening. |

Enhanced my older Dell dimensions 3000, had a dual 256 mb , ordered a 1g to boost which produced it a 1.25g and I just ordered an additional to put in the other slot to bring it up to the max of 2g . I did some study on the Patriot solutions and was quite pleased with the reviews and in my opinion they are very effectively produced and work great . I am recommending this Ram Memory to other individuals . I installed this Ram Memory in two minutes and it was up and running correct away , no troubles with my computer system and is very considerably faster now and I can`t wait till I set up the other 1g Ram Memory from Patriot !!New Egg is the very best and I will often let all my good friends know that also and to make sure you buy via them . I have been using this memmory in an older socket 754 amd board for several years now. It functions just as fantastic as any I have attempted. Recently puchased this new 1gb stick to enhance overall performance of the old machine. Operating fine. You can overclock this but not too higher as it will turn out to be unstable, at least in my expertise. I just leave it at stock settings now and it works excellent. Doesn't install itself. Won't open my beer for me. Newegg is the finest! |

Cheap, successful, makes my pc run a lot greater. Took forever to get each sticks sent to me. I attend college in AL, and they shipped from TN, however every time I ordered they had to go to Kentucky, then Georgia, and lastly to Alabama! I imply actually, a semicircle by way of two other states, just to get my memory to me?! Also, they function better when two of them are paired together, as opposed to just getting one stick with the Dell's stock 512MB stick. I'm presently running a 4-year old Dell Dimension 2400, and these RAM sticks really helped out a lot. This memory has created my Pc quicker, in its OS (XP/SP2) load time and simultaneous operating of many applications. While it has produced it faster there are glitches that employed to not be present.
