From 2GB XP SP3 up to 4GB Win7 Home premium with shockingly good results. A 4GB USB speedboost drive (Class 10) makes it a killer. |

I had a heck of a time figuring out why my new barebones kit wouldn't fire up. One of the memory sticks was bad. I pulled three sticks out and my system still didn't start. I replaced the first stick with another and the system has started up every time. I haven't sent this back yet. I want to check all four sticks to make sure I only need to send one back. |

Order 2 sticks. Had to return one that was bad. The replacement was bad too. I am turned off by Patriot and won't buy their memory again |

This module passed all memory tests I gave it. I bought a pair. My PC only has two slots, and according to the Manufacturer of the computer (Gateway GT5464) and the maker of the motherboard (Intel D945GCCRG),2GB is the max. Well, guess what! Two of these work fine, and run as dual channel. The system only sees a little more then 3GB, but it is running great and stable. two 2GB modules is faster then two 1GB modules! Darn good price! |

There is no needed to get more expensive memory right now. DDR3 is too expensive, until its cheaper I'll stick with this stuff. |

Some better value for your money. It passed memtest86 no problem. |
Bought for a lightweight Media build. Runs as expected, running Linux Mint 8 64 bit.
