This product works well will my HP 7280C all in one printers built in USB port. Portable bluetooth enable devices can print directly to the HP 7280C. It also works well attached to my PC USB port allowing bluetooth enabled devices to access resources. There are many benefits to wireless connectivity. The BT500 is another good example of that.

Current printer is hooked to my PC (win XP). Needed something to make printer compatible to my daughter's Macbook. I can still use my printer via USB connection and all she needs to do with her Macbook is come within reach of printer, activate her Bluetooth et voila she can now print on my HP 6310 which remains hooked to my PC ;-) The only con for this was the price of the shipping = almost as much of the item.
