If you're hunting at this card, you're almost certainly questioning about game efficiency. In summary, I can run all the games I have fairly higher settings. Bioshock appears and plays fantastic - super higher settings.Fallout three is a fully distinct expertise with this card for me, and runs flawlessly on ultra high settings. GTA IV on mainly higher settings (draw distance is still the one particular I'm getting difficulties with) runs and plays extremely well too. Just Bring about appears great on high settings also, but that was just the demo. All games obtaining frame rates of at least 45fpsVideo looks reasonably good, but my monitor ain't that good so it's hard to tell how great the hi-def looks. The ATI auto-overclocker appears to operate fairly nicely. With a rebate, I got this for 100 bucks AND I got a totally free HDMI cable so that was a sweet deal although it lasted. even at the 129 price point, I consider this is a great card. When playing these games, the fan is kinda loud. Not so loud that it distracts, but immediately after I shut a game session down, the fan is louder than I want it to be. Not positive if the software program controls that stuff automatically, simply because it appears to ramp up the fan when performing graphics intensive stuff, but it doesn't seem to be ramping down soon after I'm performed. When making use of the overclocker, the card runs seriously really hot. Soon after an hour, I took the side panel off and it was a sauna in there. I didn't verify the temp with a thermometer or something, but it was surely hotter than it was when not overclocking. I don't have any aftermarket cooling, so I reset to default. Possibly I'll get more than my fear of liquid cooling someday and I'll overclock it then.Rebate procedure, as generally sucks and is difficult and it feels like they are that way on objective in hopes I screw up or get so frustrated that I don't send it in. my specs: i5 750, 4gbRAM, MSI P55-GD65 mobo, 600w PSU, normal sata challenging disks, windows 7 pro.

Good efficiency and Wonderful cost/performance at 贄 with MIR. This difficulty is across most or all Radeon 5000 card builders, and is not limited to MSI.There is a widespread situation of Radeon 5000 series cards crashing to odd striped screens beneath load. Google "radeon 5000 stripes" to study about it. There seems to be no single fix for the dilemma, but soon after substantially investigation, I located a number of persons reporting that an RMA fixed the difficulty. I RMA'ed with newegg, which was a incredibly painless procedure, and my new 5750 card performs fantastic! I seriously like this card, and the working cards are fantastic items. Needing to RMA is just usually annoying and the problem appears to be typical enough.

Fast. Replaced my PNY GT8600 that recently died. Can play Battlefield two now at almost max. Pain to install under Windows 7 Ultmiate 64-bit. Usually you "plug - set up - play". I had to plug - net set up - cd install - safe mode set up - download drivers set up and nonetheless wouldn't install. Identified a microsoft update for VC++ that fixed the challenge for other people and utilized the downloaded driver set up. Right after that, drivers installed fine. (Turns out the VC++ patch is portion of the MSI install! But it has to be installed just before it can install!!). If the installer crashes below Windows 7 64-bit, attempt installing the VC++ update. (search for Microsoft KB961894) Can't run all 3 outputs simultaneously (at least with just Windows 7). But I can at least have my flat panel television connected to HDMI and just switch by means of the handle panel devoid of having to re-arrange plugs to watch a movie now and then.

It truly comes with the bridge itself but nowhere to connect the bridge to on the card. It's the darndest thing I have ever observed. No mention ofthis card anywere on MSI website. Looks great as well. Some may possibly complain about the lack of a physical Crossfire port, me.. I dont care. That guy said his only returned a 6.3 on Win7 ratings, mine has a 7.two on graphics and gaming graphics...

Fantastic value with rebate. Looks really cool with a comparable MSI board. Software program crossfire bridge.MSI doesn't permit rebates for duplicate products, so don't get two pondering you will get a rebate for both. Quite annoyed. Wouldn't have purchased this particular card if I had known a) that MSI wouldn't give a rebate for a duplicate item and b) computer software crossfire bridge.

The identical MSI 5750 registered six.three on windows 7 index, exactly where the Asus 5750 registered 7.. Not to say that Windows 7 is the accurate gauge, but I wonder why? couldn't tell eyeballing, will have to run benchmark to uncover out facts effectively priced card without having xfire, sli alternative. Challenging to locate a value like this for ๳. Installation was uncomplicated with the latest driver and Catalyst application from ATI on Windows 7 64bit box. Overclocks,(OC), properly with Catalyst Overdrive or MSI Afterburner. I was capable to surpass a stock 5770's PassMark 3D graphics score with a very stable OC of 800񳃫. Below load the temps never ever went over 81 C with this overclock or over 76 C with no OC. The card idles about 40 C. Cost-free HDMI cable was a bonus. Even with OC, 2D graphics lag behind a stock 5770.No conventional Crossfire, just soft crossfire bridge by way of MoBo. This card does not genuinely assistance eyefinity per the MSI web page, (unable to get 3 digital outputs. You have to rely on MSI to send you your ฮ rebate. I did not use any of the software program on the install disc, but rather downloaded the newest versions of computer software from ATI and MSI. I do not count on to need to have Crossfire with this card, so I am not bothered by lack of crossbridge connector. I would be curious to know how well the MoBo bridge operates. Afterburner makes it possible for for custom fan speed profiles and rising the voltage to the card, but at the expense of utilizing some system resources. At the highest stable OC of 800񳃫 there was no overheating problems or will need for increased voltage. So I really got greater PassMark scores with afterburner off and just using Catalyst OD.

It has taken everything I have thrown at it so far, with out so much as a hiccup. As far as bang/buck ratio this card is one particular of the superior purchases I have created. It's dissapointing that the card didn't come with a DVI splitter for multi monitor use. The card supports dual dvi, why isn't it in there? Type of irritating. Aside of the lack of splitter, and total lack of software program bundled I am rather pleased with my acquire. Now, if you excuse me... I have some games to play.

No, I haven't bought this card, it looks good but I bought a different business's 5750 simply because of their warranty in case I wish to sell it through e - bay or give it to a friend in a handful of years. The 5750 series is an awesome gpu, and for good cause. Cheap but fantastic performance for eyefinity. Run this with an athlon II/phenom II dual/quad then you will get fantastic fps in games at high settings and larger resolution such as 1920x1050ኬ Not a con, but if you have a monitor below 19" and don't program to upgrade your monitor anytime soon then don't obtain this series of graphic cards, purchase a 4670񴈖(although the 5670's are overpriced). The 4670 has dx ten.1 and DDR3 help with 512mb of memory. Why go for lower? Since you are only going to play games at a resolution of 1280x768 or much less. A 5750ኢ are much better off for eyefinity monitors or larger screens where you will need a highly effective card to run at a higher resolution. So get a more affordable card for almost 80$ much less, where it can run in an older pc, give you excellent performance, and let you maintain dollars in your pocket. Notes on the new crossfire in 5000 series from Radeon."Radeon's newest gpu series, are regarded as a wonderful way to connect gpu's at their max power while using tiny boosts from crossfiring. This is due to the fact of the new way to crossfire, where rather of a bridge connector in order for one particular card to respond to one more, the cards connect through mobo from their pci-e slots. This is why if you have an old computer with a motherboard with pci-ex16 1. may possibly not give you that similar motherboard feeling. If you want to run crossfirex you need to have a motherboard that either;a.) Has it featured in it's description as a crossfirex mobo.b.) Has 2 pci-e 2. connectors capable of over 4x to preserve equal performance with one particular another. If you don't fully grasp how to crossfire, basically google it or go in catalyst control exactly where you can simply check crossfire enable. Thanks, hope you guys undertand this new feature."

Reasonably priced 5000 series card with DDR5. Looks good and compact design.Plays all the games I want it to. If OC'ed at all in CCC the screen flashes or gets lines across it for a split second when doing routine tasks. If OC'ed further display goes blank. Played with anything in CCC and not in a position to get rid of this dilemma. Won't RMA because it works when not OC'ed at all. Even although "better overclocking" is listed as one of the features on the box! I just wouldn't buy it once more because it doesn't live up to my expectations. I had good luck with my earlier MSI card (a 3850 with 512 of DDR3) and figured this would be a great upgrade. Believed this newer card with more/faster RAM would make a noticeable distinction. Boy was I disappointed!Just to give you an notion:My windows index was 7.1 for graphics and gaming graphics with my old card and is now 7.three with the new a single.

starting to be a extremely lonely list of pro's. I now understand why the lower value. You get what you pay for. Spend the added ฤ and get an Asus, XFX or even Gigabyte. You'll get a lot more efficiency Card not completely stable, gets screen flashes with lines, and when driving two monitors, what happens on 1 screen impacts the other. Certainly slower after head to head benchmark against an Asus 5750. To appropriate the prior stat. it is 6. on the MSI vs. 7. on the Asus. That is fairly a distinction in Win 7 performance index. Why is that I'll never ever know, same ATI chip, and DDR5 memory, unless MSI utilizes less expensive componets we can't see directly. after 3 MSI graphics purchases, I'm absolutely going to spend extra cash and get some thing greater. It's funny, I'm utilizing MSI motherboards on my HTPC and it's seems extremely solid. It is no Asus, but nonetheless rather good for the cost. But this 5750 is a definite disappointment. Wonderful card for the price. Was teetering in between this and a different card for my current create, incredibly content with this. Haven't thrown anything at it that it can't handle as of yet. As stated in previous review, does come with a crossfire bridge but no spot to attach it, not that major of a deal but a little confusing if you didn't comprehend this just before hand, despite the fact that I read the evaluations and looked at images ahead of I purchased so I didn't expect it, then once again I am using a board with only 1 PCIE slot and it has hybrid crossfire so I seriously wasn't affected by this. and I was just a small sad that it didn't come with a sticker for my case, I did want to represent manufacturer etc. no reason to dock an egg. Strictly based on my private encounter of this cards efficiency. I adore it. for the price point it is a great deal. Windows 7 house premium 64-bit edition rates it a 7.three .. not too shabby for a reasonably priced card, download drivers from AMD.com the ones on the CD are older but if you are purchasing this you must currently know to get updated drivers

The Radeon 5750 with 1GB is a force to be reckoned with. 1680x1050 maxed out settings with v-sync in every single game I have. MSI designers did not pay attention to the height of the fan shroud due to the fact the card will *not fit* in my Qpack MicroATX case considering that it is too tall. Also, make confident your case's air flow can extract the heat this card produces. If you don't, then you'll get the dreaded Radeon 5xxx-series GSOD. Oddly enough, underclocking the RAM chips assists reduce GSOD's, so MSI must have put heatsinks on them. Newegg had a excellent value for this card so I guess I got what I paid for. :-/

This card has allowed me to play BF:BC2, NFS SHIFT, JUST Trigger two at fairly decent framerates, 30-50fps @ 1680x1050 resolution. The cooling is ok. I OC it to 820񳂪 and the temp can reach 70 degrees below load. But, you can manually set the fan to higher speed (i.e. 90%) and the temperature will not exceed 63 degrees, even though the fan is loud at that speed. None I am running it in a Dell inspiron 530, with a 300 watt PSU. It runs flawlessly, will be upgrading the psu soon.My technique:C2D e4600 @ two.4Ghz (stockƝgb ram MSI 5750Just so you guys need to, the C2D does bottleneck the performance of the Ati 5750 in most games. For instance, in NFS Shift, when there are lots of automobiles in sight, the Frames drop to 30-35 and as soon as they take off or I take off (no pun intended), the FPS go to 50-60. I have researched really a bit, the C2D is a bottleneck. These GPUs are hungry, so you want a quick CPU to constantly feed it information. An i5 or a i7 is very advised.

This board is substantially shorter than my previous 9600GT. My old card partially blocked some of the SATA ports. This is at least an inch shorter and really should do properly in cramped situations. Efficiency has been about as expected, a considerable boost over my MSI factory OC'd 9600GT. The MSI live update four software that came on the disk just crashes when you try to run it. The liveupdate 3 that came with my old card didn't work either. So not definitely that surprising. But you can run the net version fine so I'm not going to knock it for that. I like that his has 3 video outputs. VGA, DVI, and HDMI. Works for a selection of setups with out adapters.

Good cost, plays games nicely when stable. I have a i5-750/windows 7 64bit method which is not overclocked. I've tried various diverse drivers, and the only way I could get this card to run stably was to underclock it by 10% in CCC. I appear to have high idle temps as properly ᡠ*C. I'm thinking of RMAing this card for a replacement since it seems like everybody else who has posted evaluations was incredibly satisfied. Possibly I got a poor apple.
