None. Most adverse testimonials for this product had been by folks who attempted to connect a VGA source to a DVI monitor. It clearly doesn't work for that. That being said, the item Still doesn't work even when connected from a DVI supply to a VGA monitor. |

None.... Following reading the evaluations I figured maybe some folks just got a terrible batch. For 2.99 I figured it was worth a shot considering that I was currently ordering stuff off newegg. It does not operate at all, I tried the adapter on 2 unique computers with no luck. Then I just utilised the hdmi - dvi cable I ordered with it on one more computer system and every little thing worked fine. |

Performs in the right situation Unclear item description In response to all the bad reviews of this item most users are possibly misunderstanding what this adapter does (and doesn't do). It will physically permit a connection amongst DVI-D and VGA sockets, but it will not perform any analog-to-digital conversion.So if you are trying to connect a computer system with a VGA output (DB-15) to a monitor with a DVI-D cable, the connections will physically mate up, but no signal will be observed on the show. This is because the VGA output is ANALOG and the DVI-D input on the display is DIGITAL. To get that functioning a much much more pricey (~贄) analog-to-digital signal converter unit will be essential. |

connects permits me to connect a second dvi device to my monitor by going thru the vga port image is all unique shades of green. i assume i have read about this problem elsewhere, although i dont bear in mind exactly where. im certain if this was utilised in the appropriate application, it would operate just fine. im using it to try to convert dvi down to vga, and i dont assume it is supposed to function that way. could operate for hooking a vga vid card up to a dvi device tho. |

This adapter is just a waste of dollars. All lcd Monitors have a DVI-D port only it is not a DVI-AྸƳ) port that is four pins around the larg blade. If you want dvi ports for digitial you halfto set up a video card with two dvi ports. I installed a Sapphire 100221SR radeon HD 3870X2 video card. And I like it I have two monitors 1 is 1600X1200 and the other is 1680X1050 the 1680X1050 is on a 25ft DVI-D cable across the space setting on an old Tv the other 1600X1200 is next to the personal computer with DVI-D cable they are in clone setup the Resolutions are just appropriate. I can run a DVD movie and wach it on the widescreen across the space. It is Sweet. The pc is a Hp media center Pc m7330n-Tv Now I have a HDTV In Widescreen. |

It is nice and sturdy. Fairly small. Very cheap. It did not operate. I tried on my Tv and on my laptop or computer monitor, neither 1 worked at all. It was affordable adequate that it wasn't even worth returning. I ended up throwing it away. Really low cost, and with cost-free shipping, you can essentially afford to acquire this on a whim. Which is what I did, as an alternative of researching if it would really function for me. Really nice quality material. The plastic body is almost like a heavy rubber. I was surprised at the quality for ŭ shipped. Let me state this with fantastic care. This item does not function as the average individual would assume. There is no warning on the items page, that you could be able to connect things up, but unless you buy a 贄 analog to digital converter also, then what you are probably acquiring this item for, will not operate. Unless you do research on Wikipedia about converting from analog to digital, and how you actually will need much more than just the adapter, or you will get no signal, you will likely join the majority of people here and get this item trying to connect a analog signal to a digital dvi cable into a monitor that is only searching for a digital signal. This device would possibly work perfectly (see other thoughts). The screw mounts to the 15-pin VGA are a discomfort to thread due to their positioning behind the larger DVI header. May be nice to make this unit with a 3" flexible cable in among. I bought a 50' DVI cable a while back for a diverse application and attempted to use with this adapter (saved me buying a 50' VGA cable). I really should have checked the 50' cable as it is DVI only, and the Ɣ) isolated pins to 1 side of the DVI connection were not present, and WIKI states that these 4 pins deal with the analog that would feed the signal to the 15-pin VGA, so I got no signal with this combination. Absolutely nothing wrong with the adapter, I just didn't feel this by means of appropriately in advance. If utilizing adapters from VGA to DVI, please assessment the history of the connectors on WIKI. |

I read reviews erlier about this is failed product but seeking at manufecture comments i beleived it would work but sadly assessment was right it did't worked at all now thinking i should have trusted earlier evaluation and ought to't get this item at all. later i attempted to cancel this item but newegg did't did anything to let this order quit or alter to which item i was requesting which was linkys adapter. now i am looking at my face and asking am i really fool or stupid. lol as i trust too much new egg. which been my source of living, Failed Item. none as i was sure earlier but name of rosewill created me to get .
