Cons: No instruction book!!!!! Mounting system needs work (different Hardware as well).
Pros: PP Price!!! Looks great once it's installed. Compact package for res / pump combo. Possible to run 2 loops off of one pump. |
Just got this in to install into a TT Lvl 10 GT. I already had the D5, so this was quite attractive at the PP price.Looks great, and at least came mostly assembled (unlike at least one of the online review units), but didn't come with an instruction manual, and the PrimoChill website is "undergoing construction" (wonder how long that's been going on?) so no manual was available.The mounting hardware looks great, but unless I'm missing something, the screws they included are too long (I ended up using some standard black case screws) and it's a major PITB to install.That said... once it's installed, it looks great, and seems to work fine so I'm still going to give it a 4/5 at the currrent PP price.
