I am thankful for this thing burning up the moment I turned my computer on. I can't imagine if I went to bed and left the computer on. NCIX, You should sell life insurance with this product.

Cons: - LED's change colour when above or below 7V- Had some trouble with installation- Lack of documentation

Pros: - Controls 4 fans which 20W channels- Nice and bright LED's- Comes with useful adapters- Cheap price- Nice knobs
Comment:
I bought this to control my yate loon fans as well as some other fans in my antec 1200 case. So far, it's been doing great, controlling 4 fans. It has bright LED's but I personally don't mind it. They aren't too bright. I would definitely recommend as this controller is cheap too. There was some problems with holes aligning during installation, but it was a bit at my fault. I wish the instructions were better though.

Pros: Looks good, very sturdy construction, LED's look awesome

Price matched for $12.50 came out to $23.50 express shipped, arrived in 2 days from BC to ON which is very nice. Great fan controller does exactly what it's supposed to, some people complained about the LED being too bright but i think they look great, at low-med there red (which matches my led fans) and at high they are blue.very happy with my purchase!

Pros: Cheap, looks pretty good, and 20W / channel
Comment:
Great fan controller and looks pretty good. First time around a year ago i got the silver model cause black one was back order. Most of all, 20W per channel. Great purchase be it on sale or at regular price. Recommended.

It's not the best, but the price is excellent. When buying this, buy some 4 pin molex extensions. The changing LED is kinda ugly (in my opinion).

Cons: knobs too far out for my case

Pros: robust, simple
Comment:
It's a fan controller, it works well as designed, the only issue I have had is that, because its relatively short, it's difficult to attach the fan connectors to the device when it is buried in a drive bay.

It does what its supposed to do nothing more nothing less. and the leds are bright just like the description says. they can be set to blue- under 7v; red-over 7v or vice-versa

Cons: A bit of a mess to installSuper bright LEDs...

Pros: SimpleEffectiveCheap!

I bought this litte fan controller maybe 6 months ago and I have been super pleased with it. I got it on sale for something for like 13 dollars, and at that price it's a steal. I'd pay the 25 bucks for it any day, and will never again build a computer without a fan controller in it. It certainly took a while to setup, as I had some issues getting it into my case and then attaching all the fan connectors to it, but once it was setup I've had no problems since. If you want a computer that can be quiet, but can crank up the speed when it needs to, this kind of thing is essential.Oh and as other's have pointed out the LEDs are stupidly bright. There's a review on here somewhere that showed how you can pop them backwards so they don't shine directly outwards. Do that carefully for all the LEDs and you're good to go.

Cons: -LEDs are too bright.

Pros: -Good level of control over the fans.-Knobs are not too big.
Comment:
Got this for my case when I had to change to a new power supply which didn't have dedicated "fan" molex connectors. Went with this because it included 4pin to 3pin adapters for fans. My case(Antec Sonata), has a door cover for the 5.25" bays, but the knobs were small enough to fit behind the door.

Cons: It doesn't spin up the fans as high as they are able to go

Pros: It controls fansDecent amount of adapters
Comment:
Seriously, if the LED's strobed, you could light a small rave with them. Putting your finger against the red LED makes your finger glow right through, I can see the bone a little. You get what you pay for, an ok, not great, not crap fan controller.

Cons: The lights are WAY too bright, The red lights does not match with the bblue lights. Didnt fit very well

Pros: Cheap (got it for 15 with price match).
Comment:
Y wuold they put the red lights there, it makes my case look like a carnival. It would have been much better if the blue light grew dimmer instead of turnng red when it's turned down. it said this was made to fit 5 1/4 bays, but this was more like a 5'3/8 i had to bend the sides in order to get.

Cons: Bright LEDs

Pros: Solid Construction, Plenty of Adapters
Comment:
Great fan controller, came with plenty of adapters so that I could attach any of my fans to it. I managed to fit all of my intake and exhaust fans onto it and it's very convenient to be able to quiet down the computer when watching videos but crank it up when it starts getting a bit toasty. I wish there was a simple way to lower the brightness of the LEDs, they're annoying when you want a darker environment. This review was modfied by poster @ 12-23-08 10:26 PM

Cons: Bright Leds

Pros: It controls my fans =) and looks good on my Antec 900
Comment:
Great fan controller for a cheap price, was recommended in many forums. It was easy to install and game with 2 4pin to 3 pin connectors and 1 2pin to 3pin connector. The 4pin to 3pin i needed for my antec 900, it seems to be easy to make too so since all my fans are 4 pin in the antec 900 i had to make some of my own.

Cons: DIDN'T FIT IN THE CASE PROPERLYthe heatsinks on the back werent evenly place

Pros: solid knobsnice click when turned fully off
Comment:
its a nice fan controller, and there are a lot of fan controllers out their that really just don't work, so this one is good enough, its got 4 channels which is a good ammount but my 2 biggest problems were that it didnt fit in the case right, I had to jam it in, and that of the cables it came with there was no splitter cable for the processor fan, so you cant have it connected to both the mobo and the controller. the extreme version of this controller has this cable and more + fits properly and is worth the extra $15

Cons: - Cables are too short- No 3-pin cables included- No RPM or temperature display

Pros: - Price- Supports 4-pin fan connectors
Comment:
I received one of these but could not use it immediately because all the cables are ridiculously short. Couldn't connect them to any of my case fans. Had to order some extension cables and 3-pin to 4-pin converters separately, and wait a few more days for them to arrive. I appreciate those products that can be used right out of the box, but this one is not unfortunately. Not recommended.

Cons: Blue LED is too bright, you dont need a light in your bedroom, it will light up your whole bedroom :)

Pros: Cheap, black match my case, can control up to 4 fans, color changes if rpm is slow.
Comment:
Generally I like this fan, it does the job, now I can turn off fans I dont need specially during cold seasons, or just decrease the speed, overclocked system should have this, I just dont like the super bright blue lights.

I purchased this fan controller to reduce the fans noise on my CM690. The brightness of the LEDs can be annoying, but considering the price I paid it was well worth it. The quality of the materials and design is rather cheaply done, but again it was cheap.

I purchased this to control some extra fans in my TJ07. What I did find good about this product were the 4 pin molex to 3 pin adapter as I can now control the hard drive cages' fans.

Cons: Blinding LEDs

Pros: Cheap, looks nice, works well

A Rheobus type controller will give the quietest control over your fans. By the way, the knobs are made of aluminum which is just like the silver version. The LEDs on the knobs switch between red, and blue.

Cons: extremely bright LEDs (blue is worse then red), only 2 Molex->3pin converter when the thing has 4 channels

Pros: 20W per channel, simple clean look, cheap
Comment:
This is a great product for the price, especially if price matched. be warned however, that if the front of your case is facing you head on, you WILL go blind. The leds are THAT bright. If the front is facing to the side then you'll be okay, but it will illuminate a dark room very well. The 7v setting (red colour) is not as bright but still enough to be trouble.Only other issue is that there are only 2 molex-> 3 pin converters and its a 4 port so.. you have to get your own, and thats not easy either.

I wanted a controller that was simple, no flashing, no fancy space age looking read outs atc. After installing it I found the LEDs to be too bright (personal taste obviously). My solution was to remove the face plate, bend the LEDs backwards, and attach the whole apperatus to a face plate from my Antec 1200. I used a thin black backing behind the face plate so now no LEDs show and it matches my 1200 perfectly.
