I bought this cam for a couple relatives for Christmas. When I connected with them and saw how clear and clean the streaming was, I made another purchase. My brother got his connected, so the install must be easy. (kidding bro) We're very pleased with this cam.

This webcam had everything I was looking for. Great quality, fast frame rate and after a bit of adjusting of where it sat, it even liked the lighting in my room. However even though my computer recognized the product, the software it came with never did. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it 6 times and tried every USB port in my computer to no avail. It also doesn't run on any messaging program except what the manufacturer makes which was a huge disappointment considering it said it worked with everything else I use. I'm very disappointed with this product and will be looking for a new one

picture is great, only drawback is that not all ISP's can handle the resolution and protocol's.

I bought this cam for its features. It works excellant and very good in low lighting. I have it placed on my LCD monitor so it completely out of the way. The only negative I have is the software takes some time to install on the computer.

I found this web cam easy to install, just follow the basic instructions and remember to smile, you're on camera. I use it with windows live messager. I had no problems. I would buy the same if needed.

I received the webcam, installed the software as per the instructions, and the camera is not recognized by my computer. I'm a non-techie, so I asked my dual master's degree in computer engineering husband to check it. He actually had to re-write part of the programming to get it to work. Skype recognizes it, but microsoft programs don't! Very disappointed.

Good price, fast shipment, ovrall satisfied. Do wish it had a little better color on my screen; sound quality is great. Good purchase for a non-techi like me.

Product arrived promptly and was easily installed. I now use it regularly and it works well. I wish it came with more instructions on how to improve the quality of the pictures, how to set up a good lighting scheme, and the like.

I bought this webcam so I can talk to my wife while I am deployed. Since this is the first one I bought, I have nothing to compare it too, but overall its not bad. Decent framerate, mic sounds good. I guess if anything, it just doesnt stay on the screen that well.

camera works great, good video quality, steady. nice looking product. easy to attach to any machine. you have to be pretty close for the mic to pick up all sound but that's not too big of an issue for me.

I have bought three of these cameras, and they are great. The only complaint someone might have is that they are from Evil Microsoft. I hate compatibility issues, and this has none. Had an old logitech camera, and I had to bog my system down with their software. Windows picks this one up right away, like a family reunion.

Nice camera for the price. Good picture quality. No manual came with so not sure how all of it works. Would reccomend.

Took a chance on this little cam, and am glad I did. Nice, small design and I love the flexible rubber base. It sits pretty stable on top of my LCD. Driver/software install went well on my Windows XP Pro machine. Out of the gate, I wasn't impressed with the motion blur I was experiencing, so decided to experiment a bit with settings. Realized this was due to having the exposure set to auto (which is a default setting). When manually adjusting it, I was able to get close or at 30 frame second - much better video. Quality dropped a bit, but with proper lighting, the image did clear up and looks good. Not wild about the software, but it's been said MS is going to overhaul it this fall. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase ($36) and can certainly use this for it's intended purpose - video blogs.

I had an older Creative LifeCam that was not compatable with Vista. I got the VX-5000 and it produces a good image in bright light and dim light. Installation was easy and quick and had not problems with Vista. I have only tested it on MSN Live and it worked with no problems. It base works well and sits relatively securely ontop of my LCD screen. I would recommend this camera and buying it from TigerDirect (best price and comes quickly).
