It's totally worth the 12$ I paid for it. I have no complaints about the picture and video quality, but the sound quality on the microphone could be better. I would also like the cord to be longer, it doesn't reach very far at all. |

Cons: USB cord kind of gets in the way sometimes and makes the camera tilt slightly during a call. The USB cord also isn't very long, and the magnets it attaches to aren't very good either.

Overall decent little webcam, could've liked to have seen a longer cord, but for that price point I guess it's great. Get it while it's on sale. |

I just recently bought one of these to replace one I had bought last year and both were absolute junk.Horrible color reproduction. black came out grey, white came out pink and yellow. skin tone was more off white/grey than anything. I installed all the latest drivers and their proprietary software and still nothing. I tried re-calibrating my monitor settings (dell IPS panel) and still no luck. I changed all of the settings in their software having to do with color and nothing. I bought one last year and didn't open till a few months ago so i couldn't return it. found it on sale a few months ago for $13 thinking that maybe i just got a bad unit, doesn't seem like it, the new one does the exact same thing. |

Bought this when on sale for $12.99. It is a little difficult to use. The camera is mounted magnetically to a stand so if one has to tilt the camera, it can easily fall off. Also the stand can be a little short and there is no way to mount onto the LCD.LifeCam software does not allow the effects to be used outside of the LifeCam software. |

Great inexpensive web cam if you purchase on special. Can be mounted on the provided pedestal, monitor clip, or velcro. Magnetic so can be interchanged between mounts. I have had it quit once or twice during a skype call but otherwise works great. |

The magnetic "clip" mount makes it possible to attach the camera to the included stand spike, or to your monitor frame via a small adhesive bead. The magnetic aspect makes it simple to remove or adjust.It was quickly detected and the included software worked immediately. I was using the camera with Skype within 10 minutes. One issue I had was that my room didn't have completely controlled lighting, and there were a couple of light fixtures and a window visible in the camera view. The camera eventually compensated for brightness but gave everything a yellow cast. There is no way to adjust white-point in the software.Overall a nice basic camera that should serve almost any video chat needs. |

Very sharp 800 x 600 webcam, but has an unfortunate warm (orangy) bias. No adjustment for hue. Also, the magnetic half-ball mounting system doesn't work because the back of my monitor is sloped about 15 degrees from vertical and the half-ball can't compensate enough so it points downwards. This means that I must use the webcam stand, but that has to be placed at the side of the monitor so you're looking from the side, not from the centre. |

This is the first review I've taken the time to make. I felt it was necessary in order to warn others how completely unsatisfactory this product is! Though it was very easy to install out of the box, I was immediately disappointed with the image presented - The color & hue was completely wrong (my blue was brown, green was grey, etc.) and the hue kept "auto adjusting". Unfortunately, it kept adjusting to everything but the correct setting and did this every 1-2 seconds, making it look like I was at a rave! At first I thought this was no problem and could be fixed in the settings. I was incorrect though, as 50% of the settings (including hue) are displayed but disabled and not adjustable. I was only able to modify basic settings such as brightness, contrast and gamma.I tried for a couple of hours to fix the issue (and I'm a software developer by profession, so I'm not entirely clueless) with no satisfaction. I'm returning the product today. |

Cons: Colours keep changing while recording depending on lighting conditions first 6 hours of recording, microphone on mine was a bit quiet, even with microphone boost on.
Pros: I got this webcam while it was at $14.99, not regretting it. The webcam does great while recording 720p videos, has a microphone, and it was practically plug-n-record. Comes with a stand for those with CRT monitors. Comment:
Great webcam for those who get it at a cheap price. I wouldn't buy it at full price, though. When I unboxed it, installed the software, and plugged it in, it was almost colour-blind. It didn't even know what white was until 6 hours later. |

This was a gift to my parents. Once they got it they Skyped all my cousins in Vietnam. The camera is about the size of a match box and comes with a magnetic mounts that sit on a post, clip and 2 double sided tape stickies to mount where ever you want. I put one on each side of the monitor. The camera comes with Microsoft LifeCam software which isn't too bad. My only issue is the USB cable. Its very short so I had to use a USB extension to get it to move to all my mounts. Also, for suck a small product, I would expect a lot less packaging. |

Cons: Moves a little bit too easily on the magnetic disks (i.e. rotation-wise).
Pros: Very compact. Magnetic discs for attaching to screen, etc are a nice touch. Comes with case to protect it when traveling with it. Also comes with a clip for attaching it to thin things like the top of a monitor. Comment:
I was surprised how small it actually is. I didn't really look into that before buying, I mean I figured it was small, but this is quite tiny in fact. It blends in great with my black keyboard, black monitors so it's almost invisible. The microphone seems to be quite good and the video quality is just fine for Skype, or other video conferencing software. Enjoying it so far and I've only had it a short while. |

I bought this cam because I needed a cheap webcam for my laptop, having a MS cinema HD I figured this was a no-brainer. I was not satisfied with the cam quality at all, and the fact you can't adjust white balance made it useless to me. Under incandescent lighting it made a blue shirt look grey. Sent it back, I'll just use my cinema HD instead. I would steer clear of this one. |

Overall for the price I paid (20.00)its a very neat webcam that is very stylish and attaches to any surface thanks to the 2 extra sticky magnetic holders. Video and Mic works fine with Skype, MSN, etc. Video quality could be better, max resolution for video is 800X600, but it still looks a bit "blurry" but im sure I just have to adjust some settings. Overall This is definately worth the 20$
