Be aware that with raid 1 you lose 50% capacity for protection, which is too much in my opinion.it's not the fastest speed and feature rich unit on the market, but for the price paid, I think it's still good deal. |

Cons: Many of the apps don't work! ReadyNAS remote one of the main apps installs but wont detect my NAS on the my home network or on my cellphone!

I bought this NAS because of the Cheap price. I don't know if its worth it or not. The Videos are great. There is also an advertisement of an app store which only has a few apps, most of them are downloaded |
This is certainly one of the more basic NAS in the market, but I can't really complain when I got it on sale for $150. Having owned a ReadyNas NV+ V2, the completely tool-less installation is appreciated.
