I bought this p/s for a friend who wanted a medium system (basic gaming). So far, it works fine and is very quiet.

Cons: -not modular

Pros: -good basic psu
Comment:
This is a good psu for a basic budget build. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. It's worth it if you can purchase on sale, but it doesn't compare to a modular unit.

I've bought a few Coolermaster cases over the years and this is the first Coolermaster power supply I've bought. Coolermaster makes great products at a reasonable price.

Cons: Efficiency...will pass on this one

Pros: Price, Black
Comment:
Good for cheap people. Really Bought this to replace a older one.Don't buy this is you care about Earth. I mean we are in 2011 and they still sell 70% efficiency power supply! This mean to get 500W you take 650watts to make it. This is such a waste of power. Please go buy a least a good Seasonic 80+ for almost same price.

Cons: >Cheap>Cables aren't sheathed

Pros: >Cheap>Black>Hasn't died yet>Lots of connectors
Comment:
I've run it in a budget build almost continuously for over a year and it's showing no signs of failure. It's powering an Athlon quad core, one HD, a 5770, 4gigs or DDR2 and two case fans and all is smooth and cool. I'm surprised other reviewers say it's noisy, it's the quietest fan in the case. This is a decent budget PSU when it's on sale but there are others in this niche I would choose before the Coolermaster Power Plus. They are the Sparkle 400, Antec Earthwatts 430, or the Corsair builders series 430.

Cons: the power is lower than expected

Pros: quiet, runs well
Comment:
since i have a tester to check all power supplies i check all the voltages that it gives out, i usually get +12.3v +5.3v and +3.3v on good power supplies but this one is different it's +12.01v +5.03v and +3.29v on full load testing, so i figured this item running everyday will last 2 1/2 years instead of 4 years out of them, so i hope coolmaster will perfect their power supplies to give it a little bit more juice out of them.

Cons: - Fan starting to wear out.

Pros: - Quiet- Cheap- Looks nice
Comment:
People who are on a budget should definitely consider this as a very cheap option. However beware, as I and a few others have said, the fan started to wear out. In my case, after a year, it gets a little bit noisy and sometimes makes a clicking sound. The majority don't seem to have a problem so far, so I don't know. Maybe it's just more prone to be defective than other quality PSUs.Anyway, it's a good product and worth looking into if your tight on cash.

Cons: not loud, but not really "quiet" either.

Pros: inexpensive
Comment:
I have built myself a little home server and chose this PS due to it's "silent" description and cost. After installing it in my system I have to say that it's not that silent compared to other quiet PS I've purchased. I guess you get what you pay for.

Cons: Somewhat loud PWM Fan

Pros: Price, Performance, layout and brand.
Comment:
I bought this based on user reviews and price on the internet. This is great power supply unit and probably the cheapest real and reliable 500W power supply on the market. I did however find the included 120mm Y.L. fan somewhat loud for my taste and immediately replaced it with an Arctic Cooling F12 PWM fan with mod. Now this PSU is dead silent in my case and still runs cool and stable under full load.System Specs:Gigabyte GA-MA78LM-S2HPhenom II X2 550 Black EditionXFX HD4770 512MB GDDR5G.Skill PC2-6400 4GBSeagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GBSamsung SH-S223C 22X SATA DVD WriterSony Floppy Drive4 x 120mm Arctic Cooling Case FansCooler Master Elite 341 Mini Tower This review was modfied by poster u 04-02-10 01:40 PM This review was modfied by poster @ 04-02-10 01:34 PM

Cons: - Not for over clocking- Ripple is a little high- Not 80+

Pros: - Surprisingly good for the price- Powered a Quad Phenom II and 4850- Great PSU for non enthusiasts without expensive hardware
Comment:
I purchased this power supply for just over $30 in the off chance that I would need it some day. When I finally put together my new rig I tried it out and actually squeezed enough juice from it.As time went on I learned that just because you can overclock an unlocked 720BE while running a 4850 on this PSU, it doesn't mean you should. Don't push this power supply, or it may push you back in the form of harming your hardware and giving you an overclocking headache. Do yourself a favor and use this power supply for your parents, or girlfriends underwhelming dual core and pick up something better suit for your stellar system. For the price, can't be beat.

Pros: decent value for its price, I got it for $30it's black and matches my case
Comment:
This gets a 4/5 for great value since I got this for $30, if it cost more then that, it'll get a 3star.Got this plugged into my mom's pc and the noise coming out of it is pretty noticeable compare to my seasonic.

Cons: n/a

Pros: More than enough for an upgrade and a 9800large fan for good airflow. much more effective if you have fan bringing air in from top.
Comment:
Got it when it was onsale, about 40$~. No complaints so far, except maybe a louder than budget computer fan. bought this for an upgrade on a budget computer. although that is kind of expected because on budget computers, there are no fans on psu.

Pros: High wattage.Very good price.Accurate rails.
Comment:
I bought this PSU as a web crasher speacila and I wasn't disappointed. The 500 watts is more than ample power to run my 3 hard drives,2 DVD writers, loads of fans, pci devices and power modules, plus a 25% overclock.I tested the rails with a PSU Tester and all the rails are accurate. The price is great.

Cons: more plugs?

Pros: quiet and cheap
Comment:
I bought this PSU to replace and old 480W. first impression after install is very quiet and run smoothly. the only thing I was wondering, why only 1 6-pin plug for video card? does it means no recommended for system with more than 1 video card? but, for now, it sufficient for my use.

Cons: None really

Pros: Great price and value, quiet
Comment:
Good quality PS for the price, I've bought 5 or 6 of those in the last 3 months and none have had any issues. 120mm fan is quiet, wires are long for EATX cases. Not suitable for SLI or Crossfire, but you certainly get what you paid for.
