I have heard quiet energy supplies. This 1 is silent. You can hear the whir of the HD more than the sound this thing puts out. Definitely amazing. It does not dispense money on command. I've attempted asking politely, but it just sits there in silence. Excellent issue it is so good at supplying energy to my personal computer or I may have returned it.

Initially Cooler Master acquire. Quite quiet and extremely effective power provide. Method is steady with sufficient spare power for future upgrades/additions. I've produced mistakes in the past getting low finish or no name energy supplies for builds but not this time. Worth the additional dollars. Not fully modular as some cables are difficult wired, much more of an aesthetics problem. 1st Newegg purchase, product arrived in a few days.

Extremely quiet and comeswith a lot more cables, adapters, i.e. than you'll require. Definitely priced to sell and properly worth it! This is not seriously a con but, I have a LIAN LI mid sized ATX case that has a vent and fan attached to the best. This PS wouldnt match all the way in mainly because it hit this fan. Just want to throw it out there mainly because this was my fault for not seeking into the length. Additional power than you'll need unless you are operating SLI with GTX 480 + sort GPU's.

This point has lots of power to run any cards in SLI and still have lots for add-ons. It is almost silent and stays incredibly cool. It appear awesome IMO. I noticed a massive reduce from heat upgrading from a bronze 500w. Buy this PSU. Dont attempt to save dollars when you obtain a PSU. Unless you dont mind the enhance likelihood of frying your mobo or other hardware. In addition to this Gold model saves dollars in the long run. Its not completely modular. I can see the eight and 24 plug not getting modular, but anything else need to be IMO. Nevertheless a great buy, and worth the added money. Dont be a noob! Not that it genuinely matters, but this thing looks skilled. I dont like hardware that appears like toy and this thing appears like you constructed a technique that will final.

When I initially closed up and powered on I had to put my hand by the fan to make confident it was operating. Those super quiet Zalman 120mm fan/heatsinks on my procs literally drowned out the noise this issue makes.Immediately after running some peak-load inducing renders for an hour I place my hand to it and it was just barely perceptibly warm... When not a scientific measurement I figure this suggests it's just a touch over human body temperature. Yes, not completely modular. It has the 20Ʋ pin, 2x eight-pin and 2 pci-e connectors that are constructed in without becoming able to be removed. With that stated, if you're acquiring 1000W you're in all probability trying to use all of the afformentioned cables... Anything significantly less than a 2 proc board could by no means warrant a full kilowatt.

Incredibly quiet and produces extremely small heat. Also incredibly power effective. I utilised to have to have two computer systems to run my office applications, now I have just one particular with this PS. Now my office averages 2-three degrees cooler than it utilised to. That's how much difference one particular of these gold rated PS's can make. A bit on the costly side, but well worth it. This is my initial coolermaster PS, but it won't be the final.

Enough to energy what I've got + a small furtherVery Fairly.Far as I can tell it's stable and effective. (Should be as it's the Plus gold licensed.)Goes with the color of my case. (Not that black couldn't just go with any case). As stated just before, not 100% module. I utilised all but 1 of the non module cables, but nevertheless would have been great not to have that extra cable.

Like CM!!! Period...End of Story... BUT.......Precisely how several amps is on this single 12v rail precisely? When yo click on the photographs of the 800w version it shows that it has a thing like 70A. And when you look at the photos of the 1200w version, it shows approximately 98A. But when you go to appear @ the images for this puppy, Absolutely nothing!!! What give, NewEgg? Could you perhaps update the images, so that we can see the spec sticker on the best of the PSU? It woould be a wonderful deal of support in figuring out the Amps supplied as to what is actually needed for our builds. THX in advance... I function for an web tech corporation and develop my personal machines from house. I like CM and will often use them or Corsair Only...But we require superior informative information in order to construct them effectively... Once again THX in advance...

Operates correct out the box.Lots of additional power.Very efficient.Price. It would be great if it supplied a lot more modular connections. To me this would only count as -.five stars. I purchased this when upgrading my CPU to solve matters that I thought had been associated to power consumption. My PSU was not the concern but I am still glad I purchased this unit. I own a HD6850 and with my extra power, I will sooner or later run two cards.

Incredibly quiet. My case fans had been louder. I can't hear the fan spinning. The adapter cables are easy to connect. It comes with several unique adapters so you only use what you require. ATX 12V connector cable length. I applied this in an Antec Nine Hundred Two case. Though I had no matters finding every thing connected, I just wish the ATX 12V connector cable was about two inches longer to present superior cable management. All the other cables were excellent length for a mid tower situation. The ATX 12V cable was lengthy adequate to reach the MB connector, but I had to leave it dangling as it was not extended enough to route around the back case fan. I didn't nock the score as this was far more an issue with my case given that it needed the powersupply to be mounted on the bottom of the situation. You need to have no problems if this was top rated mounted. My develop:Motherboard: GIGABYTE|GA-P67A-UD7-B3 P67CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz (OC four. Tons of power.Quiet.Effective.Modular...largely. It would have been good if this was two-three cables far more modular. Not absolutely everyone has two video cards wants two 8pin mobo connectors, so why challenging-wire all of those additional cables? The above con isn't too huge of a deal. One particular can usually neatly zip tie the leftovers up and possibly stash them behind the motherboard tray to keep points good and tidy.

Modular style, really quiet, two quite extended 8-pin CPU power leads. Got to the top rated of my ASRock 890FX MB from the bottom of my CM Sniper case with no dilemma. None at all. $$$$ but worth it. It has 2 8-pin CPU power cables built in, not modular. Not positive what the second one is for. Possibly they're preparing for the next post X58묒FX series MB/CPU.

The power provide is quiet. I've connect my I7 980X et al. Although this is my most effective laptop or computer ever it is quieter than anything I've ever created. Great. It doesn't come with a tricorder. For such a hefty energy supply it is light. The modular style is good feature that helped me put together a clean case.

Runs smooth..good voltages...gold certified..petty quiet. NOT Completely MODULAR... Its fine to have a non modular primary energy connector, but not the rest. 2 pcie connectors are not modular. Fortunately i was running dual SLI so I could use them. They are way to long to reach the video cards though. I end up getting to much additional cable int he case. They also have ƒ) 4Ǟ pin connectors that are not modular. My mobo only needs n so there is an added cable to hide. the whole Concept of modular is so i dont have to hide additional cables. NE took the pictures in such a way that it is tricky to see that it is not completely modular. One more important con is the screen over the fan. The gaps are rather huge. I have a bottom PSU mount and I was worried I would drop a screw in whilst finalizing my case.
