*The case itself looks fine its just that locations of the HDD slots and other things are a bit awkward...Overall, its a decent case. Very Old, though. I got this before X-mas in 2009. Do I like it? Yeah, pretty much; however, since its pretty old and there are some better cases available on the market at about same price range these days, I would not recommend this product to anyone anymore.lets talk about the cooling. Not so decent for a $200+ case. If you are a heavy overclocker, definitely you'd want something else. The backplate isn't open so you'd have to take your Mobo out to change the CPU coolers, which was really annoying for me. There are some fans to help your cooling, but it doesn't help a lot.If you really hate to see cables around your rig and stuff, also not a good case to choose since the cable organizing for this case I find very awkward. The holes are too small and sometimes I needed an extension cables when I tried to actually use the holes...Locations of the HDD slots and others, well basically the lowest part of the case is wasted, I don't really know why Silverstone wasted that small space under the HDD slots. Those holes to help organize cables, I actually wanted them to be a little bit lower. After writing a review, it seems as if I hated this case, but actually, I like it a lot. First of all, it does its job. I like its look. Its HUGE. I can easily put things on because it has a large room. Do I want to buy it again? Not really, perhaps I could try something better. But it does its job.PS. If you are a case tuner, you might want to take a look cause I think its a good case to try tuning.

This case is worse than rv02 and ft02.However, if you don't have enough budget for ft02 or rv02, I highly recommend to buy the case since it is on promotion!

The first thing that strikes you about the RV01 is how large it is, it looks like a mini jet or Lamborghini which some people might not like I love it. There is enough room inside this case for anything one thing to note though is that the PSU sits at the bottom of the case and for some the 24 pin connector might not be long enough especially if you have a large 3rd party cooler. No cons here just personal preferences I love my Raven and I won't be changing any time soon.

Ya, it's a bit pricey, but this case comes with so many convenient features it isn't even funny. Easy access HDD bays, easy lock-in buttons for the CD bays, clamps under board for superb wiring capabilities, sleek design, huge amount of space. Cooling is amazing, even with my components overclocked, I idle at 78 degrees (CPU) and my system temp never rises above 65 degrees, just an amazing case.

Very aggresive styling. This case just screams ''mod me!!'' 2 180,mm fans move a lot of hot air up and out. I have no overheating problems with my x58 classified and 2 gtx 260 cards. Quality build The only downside to this case is that taking it to LAN parties is a back breaking effort!!!.......lol

nice looking, good quality. does not not cool my video cards very well. It has trouble releasing the heat faster than the the cards make the heat. I just ordered all new hi performace fans. I am waiting to see what happens.it would probably do ok on a single video card. The price dropped ten dollars a few hours after I bought it and it took nine days to recieve it. Overall, it's a neat case with mediocre cooling.

This is definitely a high quality case. The chassis is made entirely of metal and is painted black both inside and out (yes, the photos online are wrong). The 2 very large and very quiet 180 mm fans deliver cool air to both your main board components and your hard drive bays. The case is built around the fundamental physical phenomenon of natural convection due to change in temperature.(The Layman explanation is hot air goes up even without fans) HOWEVER, this case is not for those looking to plug & play. The only real

Cons: More expensive then I wanted to pay for my case, sometimes requires slightly longer cables with the 90 degree rotation, no front port eSata

Pros: Silverstone Quality, Looks, Innovative 90 degree Mobo rotate
Comment:
I absolutely love the aesthetics of this case, add to that it is probably one of the best cases for air cooling ever designed. This is my first Silverstone purchase but the case seems very solid and doesn't have any obvious flaws. It's larger than I was expecting, but that's fine with me I'm not looking for mobility. This will probably remain my case for a good portion of my life to be honest. I got this for an exceptional price after MIR on boxing week. A minor detail is that I wish it had a front eSata port, but it's not a big deal. This is an awesome case in every aspect one could want.

The build quality is awsome! For the people who wants to use the hot-swap capability of this case, they give 1 CP-05 adapter so if you plan to add more drives you will need to buy some more. I wish this site had the CP-05 adapter for sale (sadly I bought mine on ebay...) My opinion is this case worth the price because of it's unique look!

Cons: VERY HEAVY! Lightwork kinda annoying.

Pros: Great cooling idea, great loook, lots of room to work with.Dustfree.

Got the case 3 months ago. Let me tell you, this thing is HUGE and VERY HEAVY! The case itself is very well built, the window is abit small, but enough to see most of the stuff inside, fits right under my table with lots of head room. This thing really push out air, you will feel it right at the top where the hot air comes out.

This is my first purchase of a chassis. I'm satisfied with this product.I even like the fact it's plastic, scratches are less visible, and feels good when handling. Really like the interior design and cord management. Still looks sharp and doesn't sit like a big box in the room. Nice window too. (cant wait to get a light show going on inside) If you own this case, a VGA to DVI adapter for a monitor will not fit under the top. I purchased a new cord and that problem is history.

Cons: Lack of front panels, slight design oversights

Pros: Looks awesome, quality
Comment:
This is a really awesome case. The design is spectacular, and it's really one of a kind. It looks great, and the quality is outstanding (as with all things Silverstone). Only grips is the lack of front panel headers, and the top port cover being very low, so you have quite a low overhead for your connectors.

Pros: SizeStylingCooling
Comment:
This case is beautiful, it keeps components cooler than most cases on the market today and it does it while looking like something you'd see in a sci fi flick! The case is very well constructed with all of the interior painted black, even the parts that aren't able to be seen through the window. The dust filters are top notch and keep the dust out of my rig.One major issue I had with the case was the front panel connectors and the fan connectors, since the case rotates the motherboard 90 degrees the fan connectors included with the case had a hard time reaching the headers on the motherboard without snaking all over my components. Not to mention the fact that the accessory pack only included 2 zip ties. The SATA Hot Swap drive bay connector works very well but for nearly $300 I would expect more than just one of five bays coming with it.Overall I'm extremely satisfied with this case and would not hesitate to purchase another one if the need arose.

Cons: - The top cover covering the ports is only 70mm high so you cannot put the cover on while using a monitor with an adapter, like a VGA to DVI adapter. But I can live without the front cover.

Pros: - Excellent use of thermodynamics keeps the inside of the case very cool!- VERY PRETTY. :-)- Not ugly flashing lights everyhwere!-Great cable management, both on the inside and outside!
Comment:
The case is big, black and sexy! It keeps my i7 below 30 degrees at stock clock and below 40 at 3.4 Ghz overclock. The cable system is incredible and keeps the cords all tidy so that I never have to worry about a big jumbled mess. The case looks extremely discrete, even for it's size.

Very interesting case, the concept behind it is something most other companies r probably kicking themselves in the butt for. Silverstoe realised, hey, hea rises, so they move the motherboard 90 degrees, facing ur graphics cards, cpu fan, everything towards the top, and it get's the job done. Very odd to work with orientated like that, but I had no problem fitting my components and 285 graphics card in there. Very sleek design, looks like a Stealth Fighter, and the 1 light is very well made. All plastic body, over a rather thick steel or aluminum casing. The plastic may break, but only under heavy abuse, but I must say, it's built like a tank, and the airflow is astonoshing. Get it if you can offord it, it's well worth it.
