This has to be 1 of the most beautifully created instances I have come across. I'm into easy looks and this really hit the mark for me. Air cooling really sets this case apart from other folks. 180 Fans set on low are pretty quiet. On high they are slightly louder. I'm not certain if all windowed situations are like this, but the window on the side panel, can collect a lot of dust and lint. Do not set this on the floor. I took it off just to do some tweaking and then put it back on only to locate dust virtually covering the complete window. Really annoying! I could not wipe it off either and I actually had to spray it off with water. If you have a energy switch for your psu, its kinda challenging to attain for when the top rated is put on. Pros out weigh cons by far so I won't even knock off eggs. I've received a lot of compliments from other men and women about my case currently. It actually is an amazing case. i7 950Asus P6X58D-ECorsair DominatorCorsair H50SLI GTX 560 TIComputer Power & Cooling Silencer 750WAsus Xonar DX

My make went wonderful with this case. Cables very easily tucked behind the motherboard back panel with no obstructions. A single of the removeable drive banks is hot swapable and currently has the cables set up for it. The other individuals can take adapters as properly. The method for install a SSD is incredibly strange. Devoid of a five.25 adapter, use the adapter that comes with the case and mount it behind the motherboard back panel? I just utilized the adapter that came with my mushkin SSD and place it in 1 of the removable drive bays. ASUS P8P67-Proi7 2600kCoolermaster hyper 212overclocked to 4.4ghz ᤲc (air only)

I really like this case. Lots of style. I purchased it due to the fact the rotated MB tends to make sense. But as soon as I got it and began developing I was impressed with the high quality. All the fans are quiet. Plastic parts are not flimsy. Got all the cables behind the back plate. Room for a Zalman 9000Max. It a normal case, my Intel i5 proc. ran 40C. at idle and saw 60C. various times. Now it idles at 32C and by no means exceeds 40C.Just a excellent piece all around. none I have 2 points, but neither are a con.1) The case is deep. You need 26" to spot it on2) The front blue light appears a tiny out of spot. Really bright and there are no other lights. I'd give up some of the front light for an less difficult to see HD light. (This is not a big deal, as the factor is so quiet, you can hear the HD running.

The new style is every little thing you could ask for, its nevertheless sleek and quiet but the new fans support pull far more cool air into the case. The case only comes with 1 bay that's hot-swap in a position if you want additional you have to upgrade. general this case a good obtain I would rather have observed an ssd mount that held 2 2.5 SSD's as an alternative of one because there is enough area back there. i have performed it myself given that silverstone didn't. Instead of five hot-swap capable bays four could have been completed and kept that 8th expansion bay. those are the only Genuine cons. all round the case is still worth the dollars I purchased this from an additional vender mainly because with tax and shipping it came out to 赕.99 sorry newegg im a loyal customer but you guys fell brief on the pricing. :(

I personal the RV02B and am undertaking a build with this case. There are a few added capabilities on this case compaired to the original, the hardrives mount in from the side rather of the back and allow for hot swappable bays, though they only contain 1 bracket for this. The energy and reset buttons were redesigned, the original case they moved around alot, and felt cheap, this new one is much greater. The cables coming from all the fans have a nice heat-shrink tubing on them, exactly where the original had none. The top fan on this a single has dimples on the blades the original did not, and the bottom fans have various styled guards over them. Supposedly the fans are about a decibel louder in this one particular then the original also. Might have higher output also, per silverstones site. Its a ideal case, temps are super low airflow is excellent, and it still fits just about any board and psu. The only con I discover is that the original had screwless five.25 drive bays, they have a push locking method, not positive why that didnt transfer more than, although you do get thumbscrews for them. I wish they had thumbscrews for the expansion cards pretty much best, if you like the way it looks.

This situation has awesome airflow, and is a great sleek look to it. Major sufficient to fit all my hardware into it with out a issue, and uncomplicated to route all the cables to make a clean develop. I do think I'm a Raven fan now. Only complaint I have, and its not sufficient to be a game breaker, but each thumbscrews on the back side of the case won't tighten down. They screw in but just turn. Nevertheless not undesirable enough to shed an egg more than, this is nevertheless the best situation I've employed to date

Cant say enough very good points about this case. A breeze of an install, case setup well documented. Sleek appear, just the appropriate quantity of flashy. And the rotated motherboard setup has kept my new technique running quite cool. Case temps stay just above ambient in spite of an ocd gtx570 and i7 2600k lack of 8th expansion slot, but you know what youre receiving if you want that slot anyways, not enough to knock off an egg p8p67 evo board (gonna require to replace it now, stupid intel bug)i7 2600k on corsair h70corsair hx1000evga gtx570gtx260 physXgskill ripjawx 2X4gb 1600 cas7 oc to 1866 cas8

Exceptional case, produced with a genius idea and great design. Has a ton of space and has amazing airflow. The situation is nearly ideal. There are 3 parts to the 180mm fans at the bottom of the situation. Portion 1 is the fan itself (with best bracket), Part 2 is the dust filter, Part three is lower bracket attached to the situation. Element 3 is not removable devoid of breaking the bracket, it is created this way and is a flaw in my opinion. I am employing this situation for a dual loop water cooling setup, it has space + additional for every little thing including each radiators internally.

I purchased this case because of it's impressive air cooling and style. I thought the case looked good in photographs, but they just don't do this case justice. It's a beautiful case, wonderful layout, and original ࿺ degree motherboard rotation). Silverstone really did it's function on this case. This is a single of the ideal air cooling instances on the market place, but it isn't the greatest design for water cooling. I nonetheless can't get over how fantastic of a case this is. It's a masterpiece!

Looks fantastic, simple to install parts, straightforward to plug and un-plug components, air flow, rather. Fan speed switches for every of the bottom 180mm fans, high tech developed fans. Still gave it a 5 but .... demands a lot more space in the back for cables like a concaved or recessed door, switches to alter fan speed ought to be upfront as an alternative of beneath the top rated piece (have to take it off to do something) power button ought to not be out on the top front corner (already accidentally reset personal computer) Bottom fans capture a lot of dust so keep in mind to clean them, was actually wanting the Raven 3 but it's nonetheless not out (unless the reception was not great, i liked it) People who see it for the first time generally looked really confused.

90 degree motherboard design is perfect for massive graphic cards not adding heat to CPU coolers. My temps dropped ten degrees. Only con is that I disagree with what "birds of fire" wrote. The Raven RV02B-EW has water line holes in bottom of case and has only 7 expansion slots. It's specifically as pictured. Finally, a case with the window on the proper side. Not all rooms are developed the very same. Selection is very good.

Custom 180mm fans are almost silent and move a ton of air. My severely overclocked 465GTX cards 鼴MHz x 1928MHz) cried and moaned the whole time I had them in my Antec 183. Now, they are content campers (and are cranking out a 7.9 on my Windows Experience Index, too!) Don't get me incorrect, the Antec 183 is a fabulously created case that is incredibly quiet for an aircooled solution. But I wanted a thing far more. Well, I got it. This case has greater airflow and is even quieter than the Antec 183. And that's saying some thing, because the Antec 183 has double-layer construction, which implies there is ZERO side panel noise on that case. Good open area on the back of the motherboard so that I could mount my Zalman CNPS10x Flex heatsink. Has a incredibly interesting approach for mounting my Enermax 1020watt 80+Silver energy provide. No hot air from the case enters the power supply. In truth, Silverstone has given you a free air filter for your power supply. It's even cleanable from the outside of the case! This is a well-produced case. Which indicates that it is HEAVY. It was created to be an air-cooled remedy, so it doesn't have holes drilled into the outside for plumbing to go in and out. That's OK, because there is room for smaller sized radiators to be mounted inside. If you want to do plumbing, you may want to discover a different case. I'm an air-cooled computer guy, so this isn't a con for me, but it might be a con for you. This case has the "overflow slot" so that you can put a double-slot video card on the last PCIe slot with out modding the case. Oh, it doesn't say that I am a Verified Owner, because I had a bad encounter with a shipping organization more than a Laptop or computer Case. I purchased this case at a local retailer. I have By no means had a poor knowledge with newegg. All of the rest of my new computer was bought correct here. You ought to do the identical.

Cons: NO options for additional or alternative cooling. None. Not that this is a bad thing when the case does it's job so well.Side panels feel a little bit on the flimsy sideJUST enough room to route 24 pin cable in the back if you hug it TIGHT to the back of the MB tray120mm top exhaust is surrounded by the PCI mounts and I/O panel, with no wiggle room to install any 120mm radiators that stick out much further than the fan. (My H50 does not fit, for example. I believe the first rv02 didnt have this problem, but the evolution does.)

Pros: Air cools like no-one's businessLooks amazing in person (pictures don't do it justice)Solid cable management3 Massive Air Penetrator Fans

An amazing air cooling case. Comes set to cool in exactly one way, and to do it better than most, if not any other case.I wasn't too thrilled about the looks of the window or the case in general, in picture, but when i opened the box and putter on my desk i fell in love lol. It looks pretty much like a stealth fighter, and the black plastic almost reminds me of the bitfenix soft touch paint job, but not quite.Installing my system was pretty straight forward. The back plate on my graphics card had to be bent to fit (ATI 4870, old card the reason for that? I dunno). And my H50 cooler will not fit properly in the 120mm exhaust in the top, as I expected it would from reports of the original RV02 fitting it fine. Just a word of warning. (Although as I speak my H50 sitting on one of the bottom intake AP fans is experiencing amazing temperatures compared to my last case, an 8-10 degree improvement, idling at 30-35c with a 1ghz OC on my i7 920.)Overall I'm very pleased with this case, new owners just have to realize from the get go that it has a few quirks, and doesn't want to deviate from what it's designed to do: air cool the brains out of your rig.

Cons: - Removable hard drive cages are made of cheap plastic- No rubber grommet for cable holes - Not enough space when hiding too much cables. Back Panel would not slid in that easily. -Not a case for watercooling

Pros: -Nice looking case-Has plenty of space to work with -good cable management-Extremely efficient for aircooling-Possibility for multiple hot swap bays upgrades-The three 180mm Air Penetrator can be individually controlled from the rear I/O panel-Doesn't make a lot of noise even at High speed-All 3 fans have removable dust filters
Comment:
This case has near perfect cooling performance. The three AP180s can push a lot of air even at low speeds. Knowing that cooling is good in this case it runs incredibly quiet and it's a beautiful case !I would recommend buying this case to anyone not using watercooling.
