I can't think of any. Not one particular! I purchased this PS on July 7th 2009 and RMA'd it Aug.15th. Turned on Computer and heard a pop. PS was dead. Recieved the new PS on Sept. 14th. Right now the 15th the PS produced a popping sound and BANG! Gone Once more! I would not advise any person to obtain this PS. I could see if the the PS was replacing a PS that needed a lot a lot more energy. But it's only replacing a PS from a Computer that only desires a 250W PS. The shipping to send it back on each PS's will price additional the the power provide itself. It's not worth the income or hassle.

Low cost. Necessary a low-cost psu for a NAS and this match the bill. You have to add in the price of a couple of Molex-SATA power adapters, but those are cheap. Its pro is also a con: low cost. The fan is loud, but thank fully this is in a closet. You have to add in the cost of a handful of Molex-SATA power adapters, but these are inexpensive. Have had this PSU running now for about 2 months straight and no problems. Really it does what it says with no frills.

They were great about a year ago, I would get about 1 doa and 1 fail inside a month out of about 50. Recently they have been terrible, 9 out of the final ten I bought had been either doa or failed within the first month. 5 of the 9 that failed "popped" instantly when I plugged them in and a bright blue spark illuminated the inside of the energy supply. I'm just happy that none of them damaged any hardware that was plugged into them. Save yourself the hassle of RMAs and purchase anything distinct.

Operates. At the cost I paid, I was half-expecting it to be DOA. So the truth that it works is really pretty large. I posted an earlier critique, providing this unit four eggs. I have to drop it to three eggs just since it is so loud that I am going to replace it. I was sitting at an additional pc about six feet away, and I was also about six ft from the Television...and this power supply is just the loudest issue in the room. It makes my custom-built machine sound like garbage, which is the precise opposite of what I want individuals to think when I fire up my machine. This is a low cost unit and really doesn't have considerably else going for it. If you don't have massive energy requirements, you in all probability want a thing quieter. If you are building a gaming rig, you possibly want a lot more power than what this noisy little unit can provide. This unit tends to make me think of the 1980's when the sound of a loud Computer fan was fairly regular. Do yourself a favor and devote a different บ or ฤ to get into the existing decade.

The box it comes in looks alright. Produces a nice light show as quickly as you plug it in. I have purchased dozens of these energy supplies over the final couple of years and by no means had any problems with these. Nevertheless, in the final month or so, most if not all of these that I purchased either died as quickly as it was plugged in, or died inside a week of use. Their top quality handle has genuinely gone downhill or a thing, I don't fully grasp how these energy supplies could make it out of the factory in the situation they're in.

Cheap, had additional than adequate connectors for my needs, got the job done on a little Computer for about 16 months just before it died. It died. The Computer it powered was utilised to stream films and music to my 360 and other computer systems in the residence. It fundamentally sat in the prime of a stuffy upstairs closet (ambient temps almost certainly 90-100F in the summer) with small in the way of airflow, operating 24ǝ. I would have preferred it final longer than it did, but provided its atmosphere I don't truly fault it for crapping out. It worked for awhile, and it was affordable adequate that it doesn't bug me at all to replace it.

It works. Aside from the cons, this powersupply is operating. It's loud but it works, which is what I wanted it to do. Nicely let's be honest, the age old saying "You get what you spend for." tends to be accurate. The wiring feels as if a single tug would lead to it to snap. This energy supply more than all feels extremely light, quite fragile. All of the four-pin connectors are very poorly produced. The connectors continually move about so it's challenging to plug something in. Loud.

Incredibly fantastic price tag and over a year later it is nonetheless operating fine. None Used this to replace a energy provide for a retailer bought Dell unit that was fried throughout an electrical surge. The one SATA power plug isn't an challenge if you read the specs and make confident this will work with your method or order Molex to SATA adapters.

Inexpensive, fits in a typical case. Hasn't died on me yet. Way overspecced for the Atom box its powering. None however PSU's look to be hit or miss. I don't let the unfavorable reviews discourage me because the manufacturing high quality for everybody is up and down. So far it appears like it's a winner.

This unit functions fine. It powers a re-constructed system I place with each other with an emachines chassis, Gigabyte GA-G41-ES2L motherboard, Celeron E3200, 2GB RAM, DVDRW, two HDD's. The on/off switch on the back of the unit was in an in-amongst position (which is somehow possible) out of the box. Not confident if that would have had a adverse effect if I had left it in that state...As the title says, the fan is really loud. I have two comparatively new HP Pavilion desktops in the property, and these units are much quieter. You *cannot* seriously take into account this unit for property theater or any other implementation where the noise is a concern. The 9500GT has a fan, plus there is a 120mm method fan, and the CPU fan looks to be a 120mm fan.... but this energy provide drowns them all out! Nevertheless, it does perform and supply energy, so I give four eggs.

Fit into case 1. The connecters had to be forced on to the really hard drives and CD drives since the male wires would not line up with the females on the drives. two. the unit would only function for 1ǘ hour or less like six minutes. Do not attempt any save money on a PS, it like placing inexpensive gas in a race car

None Arrived doa 11 dollars to return it no thanks. I ordered this energy supply for twenty bucks for a reason. Mainly because it was low cost, plugged almost everything in and the energy provide began hissing and nothing following that, if i would return it the energy supply would come out to thirty. Come on newegg we come to you for the wide variety and cost, back up your items and be a little friendlier with your shipping. Be careful with newegg and there return policy.

I applied this power provide when I built a pc for a client. It worked out of the box, and it was working six months later when I checked on the clientele Pc. None. I didn't notice any loud noise. Personally, when I pay ฤ for a power provide, I already anticipate some noise. This is just a sacrifice that have to be created to save some cash. No complaints from the client. I will obtain a different a single for the next build.

Low price tag and decent quantity of connections. Used this for small over a year with no failure. Only one particular SATA connection, retain that in thoughts if you have a newer method. Less costly make high quality (but that is to be expected at this price tag) Employed this to replace a energy supply that died on an older system. It wasn't worth spending much to repair so I took a possibility and got this. Has been functioning fine ever since. It's generally a small gamble with these cheaper power supplies. For a replacement on older systems I would undoubtedly recommend this, but I would look at something a small far better for a new technique.

cheap I run a computer system repair shop, and we ordered a handful of these for customer replacement components. 2 out of 7 of them pop following plugging them in, and flipping the switch. This happened at two unique areas, so it wasn't the power input into the PSU.low-cost!

Affordable Only one SATA connector. Useless for any modern day setup with SATA really hard drive(s) and SATA DVD drive(s). I cut the SATA connectors and leads off a dead power provide and connected them to the one particular set of SATA wires on this provide. Thank goodness for tiny size marette connectors!
