Cons: White LED's can be distracting, Difficult to see the letters

Pros: Build quality, excellent macros, Quiet keys
Comment:
This product is very good. I would only recommend this to people who can touch type. It is very difficult to see the keys but it makes for good practice.

Cons: finger prints, and no back lighting, although it is the black keys edition I wouldn't expect back lit keys, so it's not really a con

Pros: Great for Gaming, Sleek Design, all blacked out, matches my Death Adder Black Edition perfectly
Comment:
I wanted to get a fully blacked out desk top PC and this fit nicely with my theme, I have this with the Razer Death Adder Black Edition 3500dpi mouse, and the Razer Vespula Dual sided Mouse Pad. all of which look amazing, perform amazing, and I would highly recommend all of those products to anyone looking for a gaming keyboard for under $50.i'm tempted to order another to have just in case, I know all products won't last forever so it would be nice to have one on back up for when this one kicks the bucket... that's how much I love this keyboard.

Cons: Really bright lights, shows fingerprints, black on black takes getting used to

Pros: Looks great, comfortable, ultrapolling
Comment:
Bought this a few weeks ago for gaming and overall I'm happy with the purchase. It looks good and is very responsive. The Razer software for macros isn't too bad and doesn't use much memory. If I were to purchase again I'm not sure I'd go with the black on black keys because sometimes I find myself having to pull the keyboard out to look at the keys in the light to make sure I'm pressing the right thing. I'm sure I'll get used to it over time, so this is a minor issue. The caps lock light is nearly blinding and a bit of the light shows through under the media keys which makes it look cheap.

Cons: -LED for NUM lock and CAPS lock seemed too bright at first but you get used to it-Media buttons on keyboard are difficult to press -Macro abilities won't work with driver supplied with packaged cd when using Windows 7. You have to install it from www.razersupport.com. Took me a while to figure that out-If you can't type without looking than you're screwed, you've gotta look at the keyboard at an angle to see the key labels

Pros: -Looks very sleek looking, I like the glossy finish -Feels solid-Helps me to improve my touch typing skills and the black on black looks slick (More on that later)-Relatively quiet
Comment:
If you know could touchtype or you want to force yourself to learn, this keyboard's ideal. The macro functions are really useful. Response from keys feel good when gaming. I got it on sale for $35 at another canadian computer store during boxing day. For that price it's great value but for $54 I'd have second thoughts.

Cons: None, besides that I didn't go for the backlit version, I play in the dark lots to maintain my focus.

Pros: Keys are fantastic, light, need little force to push. The keyboard is light and stylish, along with the packed in stickers and booklet. The Macro software is incredibly useful.Makes management in SC2 a dream!
Comment:
Razer is a company I have bought from before and will continue to buy from for my gaming hardware needs. This keyboard is light, standard format with 'half' pronounced keys ( in this I mean if you glide your fingers over the keys, they will not get stuck on the hard ridges of most keyboards ) with the nifty 'Razer button' to shut off the windows key for those that are masters at flying around the board, but make the occasional mistake.Pressing the keys requires little pressure meaning button mashing will be at a minimum (The G15 I own has considerably stiffer keys, which isn't something I'm all for now-a-days.) and performance is maximized while strain is minimized. The Macro software bundled with the keyboard (of Razer's own making) is dynamic and easy to use, although slightly confusing at first. Nothing is better than being able to hit a button that screams 'LOL' at someone before you headshot them in Modern Warfare 2.The ultrapolling software holds true, after pressing many keys at once to do some slightly more complex moves in many FPS games ( such as doing a multitude of continues jumps/surfing in CSS ) making lag none existant! Excellent!!Overall, this is a keyboard I love and cherish for its weight, the keypress pressure, the macro system and the ultrapolling software. It has helped me frag better than the last two keyboards I've owned. I've even got a second one for schooling because I love it so much.

Comment:
bought this keyboard to replace my microsoft keyboard. It does come in stunning package and once you open it, it's even better!this is over all a great keyboard, all the keys are very responsive yet it's not stupidly loud. I love the game mode function where it disables windows key, in the past I have had numerous experiences where I pressed windows key and minimized my game and well obviously got killed/pwnt.one problem I find with gaming mode is that it seem to disable the control key also? I am not sure if it's something I did; though i didnt program anything to the keyboard yet. as a result, I can't crouch in some games i play and end up not using the game mode function.another problem but it's not really important, is the black keys, after all it "sexy" but sometimes I can't tell which buttons which, especially those exclamation mark and all those non numbers within number keys.last but not least, the mirror finish is super sexy but does leave a lot of finger prints. hence I put this as both negative and positive in the review.one last thing, the multimedia buttons have developed some paint cracks so when one of those led turns on there's bit of light coming through the keys If i were to replace this keyboard I would upgrade to the one with backlit etc etc

Cons: CANT SEE THE KEYSThe keys are laid out different so I ended up dumping this one an getting a cheaper model since it was so annoying to type.

Pros: Comfortable typingNice design
Comment:
The keyboard was great, the typing was comfortable and everything but it was just too dark. And it wouldn't be a problem if it was a standard keyboard layout, but it was modified and I was not used to it. I ended up purchasing a $4 keyboard which I am very happy with now and at least I won;t have to worry about a driver for it.

Cons: The letters are (shiny)black on black.

Pros: quiet touch, response time is such that only one press is required.
Comment:
Didn't do all my homework on this one. Reviews I read indicated that you really had to be a touch typist to use it. That wasn't an issue for me (except for numbers, letters are not an issue). The keys are set slightly to the left of where my previous board was so if you set up your hands wrong, well, you better get good with the backspace.Numbers for me are a lost cause and I have to look sideways at the keys to see a reflection of the # keys to see which one I need to press. If I could return it I would. Except for the black on black, it's a great board.

I wanted something slim and all the gaming benefits of this keyboard are added pluses. While this is not a lighted version like its more expensive sibling, it works like a charm. No beeps from too many key presses!

Its a great Keyboard, very responsive, and nice looking. Only issue I have is black on black, in low light conditions, which is how I like to game, keys are unreadable. I should have read more into it before I bought It..going to have to buy another brand where I can see what keys I'm punching...

Cons: -Unable to see key letters in the dark-No backlight-Medium build quality-Overpriced

Pros: -Programmable keys-Media controls-Slim keycaps-Anti Ghosting for WASD-Hyper response
Comment:
Overall a solid keyboard, but it does not meet my expectations as their mice were a lot better, in my opinion this keyboard offers better price for performance than the Razer Lycosa, but if you decide to get this keyboard get the silver edition as the keys will be more visible. Only satisfactory if you have other options for a gaming keyboard I suggest you buy the others instead.

Wow! This keyboard is really great! It is very responsive and has a nice feature to prevent key ghosting! It even disables the windows key while in game (so no more annoying start menu pop-ups right in the middle of your game). The keys feel very nice to press, as they are very sleek and shallow. I love this keyboard and I recommend it to others who are looking for a good gaming setup! And I almost forgot, the black font on black keys looks really nice too!

Cons: Finger print magnet. Unless you can touch type, you wont be able to use it.

Pros: Very nice look, tons of gloss.
Comment:
I love this keyboard, the black on black looks amazing, and typing on this is a breeze. There is a nice gloss on this which attracts finger prints, but other than that, the appearance is perfect.Unless you can touch type, I would get the silver one, because on that one, the letters are much easier to see. I can touch type quite well, but for the average user, they might not be able to use it at all.Great product, would definitely recommend (silver to most of my friends and family though).

Cons: -Lights-Media Controls-Gloss Plastic

Pros: -Crisp Keystrokes-Looks-Decent Software
Comment:
Well, I got this keyboard when it was on a big sale I thought I would try it out. I am certainly glad I didn't pay full price as there are several things about it I do not like. The light of the num lock, caps lock, scroll lock, is very bright, annoyingly so. Secondly, the media controls are horrible, it is difficult to see them because the lock light's are so bright so you have to squint and angle your head differently or look closer, and you cannot touch recognize them because the media controls are all a flat surface, and have no backlight of their own. They are also difficult to press. The plastic on the body of the keyboard is a very smooth gloss, which looks nice, but it really shows fingerprints/smudges, and it generally feels a bit cheap. On the upside, the keystrokes is very crisp and response is great, the plastic on the keys is so-so, nothing special. The software is decent I have not run into issues with it yet, although I have not used it extensively either.

Selective anti-ghosting capability around WASD gaming cluster
The Razer Arctosa addresses ?ghosting? signal failure that occurs when you press multiple keys simultaneously on traditional keyboards. Selective anti-ghosting around the WASD gaming cluster on the Razer Arctosa allows more commands to be entered at any one time without the ?ghosting? signal failure.
Fully-programmable keys with macro capabilities
Too many keystrokes to enter and too little keys? Sometimes we wish we had more fingers (or maybe an additional arm for that can of soda or beer while we?re in the middle of a raid.) The next best thing would be fully programmable keys with macro capabilities that enable instantaneous, multiple commands with a single keystroke. Buy armor and weapons or execute complex manoeuvres with a single key with the Razer Arctosa. Some things are better than extra fingers (or arms).
