Cons: Finger prints

Pros: Size of Keyboard, great macro
Comment:
Great keyboard at the price. I bought it mainly because the F1 keys are very close to the number keys and that works great for me when playing Starcraft 2. I however also use this keyboard for work as I work from home. Finger prints are not really a con but if you are OCD then it might bug you and it was the only con I could think of.

Pros: Great construction, nice backlighting, Keys are solid,
Comment:
I bought this mainly to get a keyboard with backlighting, and was eyeballing the Logitech K-800, but for $59.00, this keyboard was an awesome choice. I also wanted to get away from wireless keyboard which was in endless need of new batteries. I got sick of it. This keyboard is very nice to type on. I was afraid I wouldn't like it, but nothing could be further from the truth. The keys are nice to type on and the "chicklet-style" keys are a non-issue. I was not used to that, and was scared I would not like it, but all is good. My daughter who first saw the green back lighting was instantly in love with it...she loves green! My wife commented on how she loved the lighted keyboard for when she is on the computer in the dark. I love it too (with my withering eyesight). All in all I would highly recommend this keyboard. Oh and the one who mentioned he hated the f keys being too close to the number keys, concerned me also, but I have had NO issues with accidentally typing the f12 keys when using the backspace, so again, no complaints there. I have no idea where or when I'd use the macros function, but I'm sure once I learn more about it, I will embrace this feature. I highly recommend this to anyone.

Cons: Razer software conflicts with logitech software

Pros: This keyboard is cool looking.
Comment:
I am using a g13 and a g600 this keyboard was conflicting when i installed the synapse software. Since I didnt need macros on this keybaord I uninstalled the synapse software and now it works perfectly for what I want a backlit keyboard for chatting in game and typing out of game.

Cons: They could add a bit more internal ribbing on the plastic body to reduce the flex in the middle, but overall not a big concern.

Pros: Love the backlight. The keys have an excellent feel to them and are very responsive. I like the compactness of the keyboard, as I find the height on the mechanical keys too high. Overall great feel.
Comment:
Love it. This keyboard has me considering jumping to Razer from Logitech on my mouse. If you are looking for a tight, low profile style keyboard, this is highly recommended.

Cons: Bottom rest is somewhat smudge prone

Pros: Very good gaming keyboard for the price. Feels like a professional gaming keyboard.
Comment:
I bought this keyboard and it was delivered to me two days later. When I plugged it in, I was pleasantly surprised at how the keys were so responsive. The keys aren't mechanical, but chiplet instead, and feel good to type on. Since this is my first "real" gaming keyboard, I really noticed the difference between the DeathStalker and the old Logitech keyboard I was using previously. I would definitely recommend the keyboard to other people looking for a good, and reliable keyboard.

Cons: Wrist rest too largeKeys are glossy, lots of fingerprints are left behindNo space between top row keys and F keys

Pros: PriceNo useless side macro keys like on logitechs.
Comment:
decent gaming keyboard for the sale price but will be replaced soon.Edit:after 1.5 month already replaced it with a topre type heaven. Couldn't stand the no space between top row keys and Fkeys because i kept hitting f12 when trying to hit backspace. This review was modfied by poster @ 01-08-14 06:07 PM

Cons: Synapse2 software sucksChicklet keysvery little feedback on keystrokes

Pros: Looks greatSolid construction
Comment:
Out of the box I loved this keyboard. It looked awesome on my desk, all lit up green. The backlighting is fully contained by the keys with no light bleeding through on the sides. After using it for a while I found it was not all I'd hoped for. I made the mistake of installing the Synapse2 software (which you have to download from the Razer site). Bad move... It caused my computer to randomly lock up in use and always after trying to wake up from sleep mode. The remedy they say is to un- and re- plug the USB cable. Unfortunately that involves a lot of grovelling under my desk. I found this necessary even after a hard reset as well. I also became less and less enamored with the key action as it is quite short and has virtually no feedback. In fact, I disliked it so much I have since picked up a Genius Imperiator Pro and have not looked back. So, is this a good keyboard? Yes, so long as you stay away from the Synapse2 trap. Unfortunately you need to install said software for any of the keyboards features to work. If you don't mind rooting around behind your box to 'reset' the keyboard on a regular basis and like chicklet keys, then this is the keyboard for you. Otherwise get a Genius or a mechanical unit.
