Cons: Device has some manufacturing defects. NO WARRANTY SUPPORT from HTC, only 7 days from NCIX?? I thought customers had rights??

My device came with a couple of major issues. The issues...- 3 yellow spots on the screen; 1 in each bottom corner, and 1 on the left hand edge.- Poor wifi (and bluetooth) range and wifi (and bluetooth) dropping issues if phone is pressed, or depressed on the top right corner of the device.- Speaker volume isn't loud enough. (My buddy's LTE version doesn't have this problem.)-Dim notification LED (My buddy's LTE version doesn't have this problem.)I called HTC and asked for an RMA. They declined my request since I hadn't bought the phone from an authorized HTC dealer.. Really... That's bovine excrement imoThen I called NCIX customer support, and they declined my RMA request stating that they only sold these phones with a 7 day warranty. No where does it say that on the product's page. So this is also bovine excrement.It seems I'm out of options and that's really not cool. When I pay 700$ for something, I demand satisfaction. |

This is not the One X sold in Canada (or the US). Most of us already know that, but I was surprised by everything this entailed.*No 4G or LTE.*The charger in the box is a type C plug (popular in Asia). You will have to use a different charger or buy one.*The phone has English, but not Canadian or US English. There are apps to trick your phone into giving you Canadian context, but the only way to truly fix it is to replace the OS.*The phone is preloaded with junk apps from SingTel with no option to uninstall them.*Bell Mobile TV does not work (the One S and Galaxy S3 works)I haven't determined the cause, but I'm having a serious problem when travelling where, if I loose signal for a while, and move somewhere new with a strong signal, it does not recognize the network for up to an hour. I can reboot the phone, but it's very frustrating not knowing when I should be getting signal or not. |
