Cons: big, had to pull a few things out of my case before I could slide it in

Pros: PowerfulQuietslick red lookenough PCI-E plugs for a beast of a system
Comment:
Great PSU for the price, I paid 100$ and was well worth it, not sure why they're not selling it anymore...

Cons: None. A weakness for some may be that it's not modular/the cables are so long and there's so many...but if you are good at cable management it's no problem.

Pros: powerfulquietcoolaffordable (on sale)5 year warranty (no registration required either)
Comment:
Excellent power supply that performs well and operates very quietly and cool. All the cables you could need, black sleeved (a couple cables don't have sleeves all the way to the end but that's ok).I'm happy with my purchase and believe that this PS will last me for some time. Thank you NCIX for great pricing/service and thank you PC Power & Cooling for a great product! Highly recommend.

Cons: Does not fit flush to my caseRather Long

Pros: Very QuietPlenty of connectors
Comment:
This thing runs very quietly. I had a feeling my old 800W BFG was a tad loud, so I swapped this in and it worked like a charm. The heatsink on my CPU is now the noisiest part of my PC.

Cons: None at all

Pros: Reliable, effective
Comment:
I got this unit when it was on sale and boy was it worth it. Powers up everything in my system and more. If this unit was not on sale however, I would get probably a better psu at the regular price, namely a corsair professional series. When it is on sale, it is basically a must buy.

Cons: not any really, would be nice to be modular, but good non the less.

Pros: Lots of connectors, very solid, quiet,
Comment:
Bought this to replace a Antec Trupower trio that I had in my sytem with a Q6600 - 3.7Ghz, waterloop, and a 4870X2, as well as the other usual items. Wasn't really feeling trusting with the 650watt PSU, since I was watercooling and the power hungery card. So I picked this up during the suprise special. And am very pleased. Good connectors. I like the red finish. And its cool and quiet running. Easily handles my system. Great PSU.

I bought this for my AMD 945, with dual 4850 Radeon, and everything works perfectly. I bought it also for the red color, as I built a red themed PC.

Cons: It's red and doesn't match my case so much. Not Modular.

Pros: This PSU has everything going for it with a strong single 12V Rail.
Comment:
If this was modular it would be perfect. But from a performance perspective it rivals most of the other PSUs in its class like Corsair's HX series. If you can get it for 79.99 like I did, then it's a steal!

Review Date: 07/02/09
Cons: Not modular, and the 4-pin plug that goes near the CPU socket is too short in some cases such as the P180 from Antec.

Pros: Consistent performance over a 2 year span, silent fan, enough connectors of every kind.
Comment:
I bought this thing exactly 2 years ago (July, 2007) when NCIX had a sale. This PSU has been performing consistently all this time. The greatest load I've ever put on it was dual 4890 video cards, 5 hard drives, 1 sound card, 6 case fans and a Q9450 at 3.7GHz. However I'll be replacing this PSU this summer with something more powerful. Capacitor aging is a factor especially for PSUs that are virtually on 24/7 so I don't want to run at 90% of the PSU's rated wattage capacity. Anyway, I would certainly recommend this PSU for anyone shopping in the $100-150 range. I don't know why everyone is flocking to the Corsair TX series - they do nothing better and they cost more!

Cons: It is red.It died in smokes.

Pros: It is cheap. It worked while it worked.
Comment:
It is cheap for a reason. I was damn lucky I was home when it happened.I was minding my business, when suddenly my computer went dead. I got puzzled and stood up, in order to check the lights.Terrible smell of burning electric parts was everywhere above my head. Switched everything off, ventilated the room and started to switch all equipment back one by one to find the culprit.PSU started to emit terrible smell as soon as I plugged in the cable. I did not even have a chance to press the power button. It was burning off-line (power switch on PSU itself was ON).First time ever in 20 years. Last time with this company. I mean I had plenty of cases of dead electronics, but burning up, when computer is not even switched on is just too much. I just threw this garbage away.

Pros: -Quiet-single 12v rail-lots of connectors-red
Comment:
This is a awesome power supply! lots of connectors, easily handling my i7 920 and 4830. once i get my new heatsink i will start to overclock. There was a huge different in noise level going from my old ocz stealthxstream 500W to this.

Cons: None yet, but I have heard that the fan can really ramp up with drawing close to full power.

Pros: Lots of PowerAwesome Red - Goes Great With My ATI Graphics CardVery Solid Stable Power Supply
Comment:
I bought this because it was on sale and PCP&C has a great reputation. Added to the fact that I was getting an ATI graphics card and I thought it made great sense. I've got lots of power for everything that I could ever want and then some, so it's great for future upgrades. Overall very happy and would buy again.

Cons: *Too many power cables means you have to figure out a strategy for your case when installing your items*I wish it was a little bit more modular

Pros: *Lots of power cables... Like HEAPS!!*Runs solid, Runs Cool
Comment:
I got this on a terrific sale for around a hundred so was extremely happy to get such a high quality power supply. My system runs extremely stable and without issue. There are a lot of power cables provided, and I probably use only half. Even though I have 4 SATA Hard drives, 1 DVD, and 4 fans. The hot red colour matches my red SATA cables :-)

Pros: Nice Red Thick Power cordSilentQuality
Comment:
If i had to pay $120 again for a solid PSU i would pick this again, 60amp, non-modular. Sometimes its really hard to pick a good power supply not knowing who is the sub contractors behind them ie seasonic_/Antec OEM, Corsair_/seasonic.

Cons: -DOA

Pros: -It was quiet once it came on
Comment:
DOA. MB light came on but no boot. After a day of plugging/unplugging & moving my pc. It came on and worked fine for a little bit but it would still turn off randomly. Then I would have to shake my case a bit and it would come back on. Then one day it turned off, and back on right after - it made a weird noise and filled my house with smoke and started leaking oil inside my case.Got an RMA # on the 19th - shipped it the same day; they received it on the 30th (I know from my shipping tracking info). I'm still waiting to see how much more time it's going to take them.Overall, I've had a terrible experience so far. I've read this was a common issue with that batch of PSUs as many people had DOAs.

Pros: great psu, 1 12v rail, great price and mail in rebate
Comment:
awesome psu, other than the red is kinda ugly lol.. no biggie tho.. works great on my 4.25ghz intel 9550, the wires are a bit messy too, but who's gunna complain about too many connectors? also the 12v is on a single rail so you dont have to worry about overloading one leg.great deal when on sale.

Cons: Too many cables and not being modular (not necessarily a bad thing)

Pros: High efficiency, quiet, looks nice
Comment:
I got this during a sale so I can't really say "total steal" anymore , but so far, I really like this power supply. It has enough of everything you could possibly use in a high end computer, except if you want to build a server or make some extreme enthusiast quad SLI/CrossfireX PC.

Cons: Not having modular interface is about the only downside to this PS if you have smaller case.

Pros: Rock solid output, very quiet fan, amazing paint job. More connectors then any PS I have seen. Long cable lengths.
Comment:
The minute you open the box and view this PS you know its Quality. Fantastic finish, more connectors then the avg user will ever need. Nice long cables for those with full size/server cases. Those with smaller cases the cables will be a pain, as this PS is not Modular. All cables fully sleeved, amazing 5 yr warranty. I bought this at the Burnaby store in-person as I did not want to miss out. PS of this quality, power and barand reputation dont go on sale for $104.00 very often. MIR is handled by OCZ and is a canada based so hopefully no 16 week wait for rebate.

Cons: I don't like the red color, but it's not really a CON. I guess it should have a top fan too. It would have been nice if it was a modular one too.

Pros: Excellent name brand, 750W, 80+ efficiency, silent. I had it for a very good price (+/- 95$ after MIR).
Comment:
great psu, great brand and excellent if you can have it for a good price. It would have been nice if it was modular but I have read that modular PSU increases the overall resistance in the cables. It just makes the cable management a bit more difficult, but I can manage with it.

Comment:
Bought this to replace the aging 600W supply on my bros pc...runs great under crossfire (as advertised). Fits well into the Antec Three Hundred Case. This should do be more than enough power for most Crossfire/SLI setups. Lots of professional reviews online, if you need more detail. Cheers.
