Appears great, incredibly quiet. Involves temp sensor. Can power by way of mobo or straight from psu. Comes with screws and with rubber connectors so you can select either for mounting. None.

Quiet fan, comes with the rubber mounting grommets to reduce vibrations and a separate temperature sensor. None I have it connected to a Zalman MFC-two fan controller. and it is utilized as my exhaust fan. The MFC-two only puts out 11vdc, so the fastest speed the fan will run is 920 rpm's. I 1st applied it as a CPU colling fan, but my temps for the CPU went up.

no LED, good simple on the eyes color. quiet not four pin for the motherboard, brief temp probe leads. would have provided 5 eggs if it had the four wire setup for MB and no temp probe. silly silverstone. i seriously like these fans, could replace all my antec 900 case fans with these, except for the large 200 clearly.

I built a silent technique around the SF-05 by silverstone. I needed two of these fans for a hot fanless 9600GT VGA card. The silent pc is used heavily for audio editing and games. Silverstone tends to make blue scool fan built into there powersupplys too. None It's the cool necessary and not additional. Remeber that the SG-05 Silverstone case uses two of these fans to intake cool air from the front and then directs it directly onto the motherboard. For a fanless VGA card it would be best setup on newegg and for net parties.

900 RPM fan that is dead silent. Moves a excellent quantity of air. Have 6 of them in my Cooler Master Centurion. The only factor I here in my case is the VID card. The thermal wire is a waste. I would rather see a PWM wire Ɣ pin connector) for the expense of the fan. I have this mounted in a miniITX situation (I had to do some creative cutting with a dremel) for an HTPC setup. This seriously moves a lot of air contemplating how quiet it is. My CPU fan seldom requires to turn on mainly because of it. Newegg shipping on tiny elements like this can be kind of high. There must be a technique so that if the cost of your order is high sufficient shipping is free or at least reduced.

High quality fan. Good rep. You should use the controller. The controller will not fit a rear card slot opening (like some other individuals). It would be nice if you could hook this up and differ the speed working with the motherboard control present on so several deluxe motherboards.

Nice searching, move a lot of air, silence efficiency. What else can you ask? Certainly none. It does not come in black?

totally silent. cool blue color. comes with rubber mounts, screws, thermal sensor, and molex inline energy adapter if you don't want to plug directly into mobo. How cool is that? There are none. If you are seeking for something you can feel air blowing all the time on, this fan is not for you. This fan spins slowly and silently, but moves a lot of air because it measures 120 mm.

Cons: not really

Pros: 9 blades design, if you want low rpm fan with good static pressure it's the way to go
Comment:
i was looking for a low rpm fan being able to keep a relatively good static pressure and i want something easy to adjust the speed without stalling. I try the thermistor supply with it but it was keeping the rpm to low for my use, instead i use a Noctua lo noise adapter (LNA) that keep the rpm around 7750rpm exactly what i need still quiet. But keep in mind it's a low rpm fan so static pressure can't be as good as hi rpm fan.I forgot that there silicone monting screws are looking stargely like the Gelid RB-GR02-B, not bad but not as good as the Noctua one's This review was modfied by poster @ 06-09-10 03:34 PM
