inexpensive I purchased to repair an xp machine with no psǘ ports. It kept prompting for the usb drivers for keyboard mouse, a catch 22. No luck on a dell. USB fine, but whats the point. Works. Causes Dell Desktop to perpetually reboot upon shutdown. Manufacturer says I have a "system conflict" Not worth the problems. Resulted in need to have for program restore. Obtain some thing else. |

Straightforward installation, drivers integrated with win 7 operate just fine, pop it in and it operates. It won't perform to access your BIOS. It only performs when windows is loaded. So on a new personal computer create if you want this to add the missing ps2 ports back and you only have a ps2 keyboard your out of luck. You're still gonna need to have a usb keyboard for motherboards with out native ps2 assistance. No BIOS help is the cause for 2 eggs. But after windows is loaded and installed it works just fine with ps2 keyboard and mouse. Manufacturer Response:Dear Client,Thank you for buying our Syba products. Particularly easy installation, no additional drivers required. Applied it to connect a PSǘ barcode reader to a Pc devoid of PSǘ ports, works flawlessly. None Use this card if you have a device that needs PSǘ and your personal computer only has USB. If you have a free of charge PCI slot, don't waste your income on the far more costly USB to PSǘ Y-adapters which only operate component of the time. |

Very inexpensive Microsquish Doors 96 (if you don't get that joke, stop making use of Windows now) has concerns recognizing it. I had to uncover a generic driver to get it to operate, and it only uses the USB ports at 1.1 speeds. I'm guessing the USB ports are the issue. I'm utilizing this card on a 66MHz IBM 486 motherboard that lacks PSǘ and USB ports (six ISA slots!) so I could run it as my media streamer. The card was a life saver immediately after the serial port burnt out, losing my mouse capability.Crazy rapidly shipping as usual! |

I have owned this card for about two months now and have not had any difficulties. Installation was simple and solution does specifically what it is suppose to do. If you want to add a parallel printer port to your system this will do the job and the fact that it also comes with two serial ports as well you can’t beat it. It tends to make a good function about for older systems that have failing ps2 connections and or no USB ports. None |

The USB ports are recognized. This card does not perform appropriately on a Dell 410 XPS item. I purchased it because there are no PSǘ ports on that model. No matter which PCI slot I used, only the USB ports had been recognized by the BIOS. Manufacturer Response:Dear Buyer,Thank you picking our merchandise. 100% works with Linux, no particular configuration required. Used this to add USB and PS2 ports to an old Baby AT Pc that had neither. The BIOS is oblivious to these new ports so I nevertheless need to have a keyboard with the old AT connector (large 5-pin DIN) to access BIOS setup. Have not tested underneath Windows 98 but. Drivers CD not included and drivers not on manufacturer's net site exactly where you would anticipate (as of now). URL to download drivers is provided in the included instruction manual. |

Looks fantastic and mounts in the Computer simply adequate. Haven't figured out how to get the Computer to respond. attempting to replace dead USB kybd with PS2 Kybd. So far pc reports kybd fail at Post. still working this problem. maybe I'll be happier, then I will post yet again. |

None. Win XP SP3. Card did not work period. Laptop or computer booted but went into a USB error loop after Win XP booted. three tries and no-go. Personal computer would not function. Faulty product. Tried to download driver to see if that was the problem from SYBA webpage. Had to request it be emailed to me??? Got an automated e mail from SYBA but no driver. Just a scam to get my e mail address I guess. So, card doesn't perform and the download driver button on SYBA's webpage didn't perform either. What a joke!!! Newegg's critique method doesn't let me rate this a ZERO. |

gives ps2 ports via usb hub, no installation complications. takes up space in my computer system case. these are ps2 ports but they are on a usb chip/hub. it's just like an external ps2 to usb adapter. the keyboard/mouse is not recognized as "ps2" but as "hid compliant mouse on usb device". so it's not what i was thinking, like onboard ps2. most persons wan't care or know the distinction. works fine.is it not feasible to give onboard ps2 functionality through PCI? that's what I believed.... |

Plug and play out of box, no drivers necessary for 2000,xp,vista. none utilised to replace dead psǘ and usb 1.1 ports, functions perfectly and has two usb two ports. make confident to alter your "halt on keyboard error" setting in your bios, your pc may not recognise your keyboard on startup making use of the psǘ ports on this card. |

Works fine.Effortless to install. Haven't been able to figure out how to get my Dell GX280 pc to boot without an USB keyboard also connected.No documentation. I purchased this so that I can connect my PC to an old consol switch. Dell computers don't appear to come with PS2 connectors anymore. Solved my difficulty, although I have to leave a USB keyboard connected too. Superior sufficient for me. |
