Cons: None for the price

Pros: Great Inexpensive SATA2 Card with Two (2) SATA ports, no drivers required for any of my compys.
Comment:
This is an el cheapo way to add additional Two SATA2 ports to your compy. I have 5 of these in 3 different computers and been using them for a while now with no issues. I use them for RAID Mirror, of course software RAID, but still does the trick. Works with WinXP, Win7, Ubuntu. This review was modfied by poster @ 05-16-13 07:38 AM

Cons: Only two SATA portsOnly SATA II

Pros: CheapWorks wellEasy to install
Comment:
I used this card to create  a RAID 0 in my computer. It worked exactly how I wanted, and I am very happy with it. It's only SATA II, but considering that I am not using it with SSDs, and that it only supports two hard drives, this is not an issue for me. The cheapness of the card, and its small size were selling factors for me.

Cons: The instructions were not really good at at all, difficult to setup.

Pros: price and features
Comment:
My mobo only has four SATA ports and I needed an extra two so I bought this addon card. It requires a PCI-E slot to work. The instructions were not really good at at all. I had a very difficult time getting this to work properly. First you should go to this website to get latest firmware, bios and drivers. select  silicon image 3132 as the product.http://www.siliconimage.com/products/product.aspx?pid=32When select ing a driver for upgrade or installation, pick the operating system first (XPx32, XPx64, WIN7x32, WIN7x64), then type (Raid, Non-Raid), then the latest released driver for your Silicon Image controller part number with the recommended BIOS. Install card, then drives. Install appropriate driver according to your system. I went to device manager in windows xp and used the tab option to update  bios on card.Eventually got it working with one optical drive and one hard drive. I haven't tried RAID.
