Cons: not as fast as stated

Pros: cheap, big..... um... nice sticker
Comment:
windows 7 file transfer indicates a transfer speed of about 5mb/s. tested using my Lenovo's built in SD card reader. Tested using a couple avi files about 350mb in size. Not sure if it would be any faster using a different card reader or file what. laptop's drive is a Kingston V series 40GB SSD, so that's definatly not the bottleneck.

Cons: Long-term reliability unknown

Pros: Fast, fast, fast!
Comment:
Fast card at a great price. Make sure your device supports 8GB SDHC cards before buying it -- it's always the buyer's responsibility to ensure compatibility.

Cons: I bought one for my camcorder and I had several issues with file compatibility between the card and the camcorder. Will not work on everything.

Pros: 8Gb, inexpensive.
Comment:
Like I said, I bought this to use with my camcorder and it did not work. I tried with other brand and it worked great. Its cheap and easy to use for files or anything else.

I am fully satisfied with this product. 1 8Gb card went into my Nikon D80 DSLR and the second card went into my Full HD Panasonic CAM.This is my first A-Data purchase. Will report back if quality issues arise.Cost = 5 / 5Quality = 5 / 5 (after a week of use)Speed = 4 / 5 (Actual read / write speed is an indication)

Nothing to complain about. 8gig card, for a great price. Using it in a digital camera, stick it in and there you go. Not an ultra fast card, but if you're only paying this much for one, your probably not looking for speed.

Cons: Not the fastest card around

Pros: Cheap, cheap, cheap
Comment:
The card works fine and I guess the speed is descent but not screamin fast. The card is cheap and works slightly better than the 6mb/s minimum spec but not by much. Copying from the computer through my card reader it writes large files at about 10mb/sec and smaller files at around 8-9mb/sec. It seems to work quite a bit slower in my Panasonic DMC FZ28. It will not sustain HD video recording for more than 30 seconds. If I take photos at 10mp Raw + jpeg ( 12mb + 3-4mb) it takes about 3.5 seconds writing before I can take another photo. Compared to my 5 year old Sandisk 512mb Ultra2 in my Panasonic FZ28, in high speed burst mode with the shutter button held down, the sandisk card will record for 8 seconds before stoping, writing 71 images to the card. The adata card stops at 4 seconds, writing 29 images total. I guess if I want to use the full high speed functions of this camera I'll have to spring for one of those pricy Sandisk extreme 3's.If you don't need super speed then this card is great for the price. If you need a super fast card for hd video or fast high res photos this is not the one. (In this camera anyway) This review was modfied by poster n 12-03-08 06:57 AM This review was modfied by poster @ 12-03-08 06:35 AM

A great fast SD card for my Canon camera. It is very fast, big and very unexpensive. For the price of 17$ I think this is the best flash memory I could get my hans on.
